I'll keep it pretty short and simple: This is a bank, that has four drive-thru lanes, as well as quite a few tellers available for walk-ins. they also have safety deposit boxes, which I quite like, because the cost is so much lower than any other bank I've ever talked to. The place looks great, and I always love how clean it is

I went into this branch today to resolve an issue that was caused by using the online app. i’ve never had an issue with online banking before but there was some confusion with linking my accounts that resulted in a lot of overdraft fees. I tried to remain calm and collected as possible because i know it’s not the tellers fault. I went to the bank in a bit of a panic seeing i was charged so many fees, basically in my sweats and had to haul my child with me first thing in the morning. The teller working was a man he was newish i believe and he was doing his best but had to have his manager (coworker?) help resolve the issue, I felt like i was being extremely judged because of my appearance like as if i was a pathetic charity case when i just wanted to resolve the issue. While i was grateful that the woman working was able to refund the charges. I was taken aback when she said she needed to have a TALK with me about the importance of paying my bills! I have been banking with america first over 10 years. I have an amazing credit score and no issues paying my bills. it was clearly an issue of confusion on my end but also a faulty app on AFCUs end. So just really upsetting to be talked to like a child by a bank teller. I don’t think she would have talked to me like that if I had maybe been nicer dressed or if i had a different appearance? anyhow I’ll probably drive further next time i have to go into a bank because of how extremely humiliating that whole interaction was.

Horrible experience trying to help my daughter get her first car loan. I offered to co-sign with her and husband who has a great credit score himself, just not a lot of history. The Loan officers treated my daughter and SIL with condescension and disrespect throughout the experience. They even told my daughter they probably wouldn't get approved which is against the law. My SIL works in the finance industry and makes more than any of the people who work in that branch, but was treated like a child. Don't ever come to America first if you want a CU that values your business and treats you with respect.

I had a wonderful experience the other day going into this branch. I was looking to open a couple new accounts and switch from a normal bank but with some concerns. The branch manager actually took care of me and was wonderful in recommending products and accounts. She was warm and inviting and helps me feel at ease with choosing a credit union. I don't often leave reviews but they went above and beyond to make sure it was a good experience for me. You should have no hesitations walking to the store and getting out.

I’ve had the worst auto loan experience with America First and their customer service. Each representative knew little to nothing about the process which has taken over two months and still hasn’t been completed. I’ve been lied to multiple times and they tried making me pay fees due to their mistakes. jcarroll@americafirst and others have told me they would send in my title to the DMV so I can register my car since Dec 22. I’ve asked them 3 times to send in the title and each time they fail to do so. I wish I could go back in time and literally use any other bank or credit union.

Honestly, the staff that I have talked to have always been supremely helpful and kind. I spoke with a loan specialist named Laura who was absolutely amazing. She provided extra information that was helpful, communicated about realistic time-frames for action, and was very kind. Thanks guys!

I like this credit union. I get my pay check 24 hours faster than my co-workers. My only complaint is that the automated phone system doesn't tell you they are closed if you call after hours.

This review is based on this location. We have never had a poor experience working with AFCU in our 10+ years being a customer. Employee ID 11891 is very unprofessional. We waited over 20 minutes for a simple transaction. We then had to call another location to help this employee. She did not communicate once during our time we were waiting. We had no idea what was taking so long. Then we received a receipt with no acknowledgment the transaction was finalized. I would avoid this location to save time and to receive better service.

We have always had a good experience with America First Credit Union. We bank here and also have gotten a HELOC for some renovations we needed after a leaky dishwasher ruined our kitchen. They were quick with the paper work and we had our loan faster than we thought despite it being around the holidays.

The branch manager is the worse. It’s impossible to get anything done here. I’ve been waiting for half an hour to get a form sign too. No one has greeted me or even spoken to me once the entire time I’ve been here. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Another time it took three hours to get them to sign a form for a lien release. It was a constant battle with the branch manager who’s incredibly lazy and insist on arguing with customers. The only that’s worth anything is Kelsie, she’s great and always helpful.
