AMD Urgent Care Miller Rd, Swartz Creek

Great bedside manners from the entire staff. I did have a long wait but once I was seen they took there time with me to rule out things going on. I'd rather wait for good care than be rushed in and out. The staff was very nice and treat you like an actual person.

I was just diagnosed with a rare form of anemia called pernicious anemia and the PA seemed very cell informed what it was. She was able to give me 4 shots for all my symptoms and even called in an anti nausea med stronger than zofran. She actually listened to me and I got the help I needed which rarely happens. I don’t remember her name but she was working last night and was amazing!

I received the absolute worse service from this place from their check in staff as a health care provider at the hospital I CANNOT believe they would staff such unprofessional people here 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not only have I waited in the waiting room for over a hour before even being checked in when I approached the desk to see if they forgot about me the girl at the desk explained the other girl was teaching her how to do her job 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wouldn’t u think she would had been trained before hand 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have NEVER witnessed such behavior from a medical facility and I definitely won’t return !! I was only here for a Covid test since my military son in law tested positive 🤦🏼‍♀️

They’re nice but the waiting is absolutely ridiculous. Came in for a rapid test and was here for 2.5 hours Let me also say, I came in another time thinking I had a kidney infection. They took a urine test and said they’d call me. They never called me with results and I found out a couple weeks later (from the hospital) that I had a very serious bladder infection.

I loved my primary doctor there but the billing people are terrible and unethical with billing practices. When they make a mistake it's very difficult to deal with them to get your money back and they are very rude. Also the receptionist and medical assistants give your medical information out loud so everyone can hear it. It's embarrassing for everyone in the office including other patients to know how much you weigh and what is going on with you.

This medical facility does not have a mask policy — at least they do not enforce one. The waiting room is currently full of people without masks, coughing and wheezing and spitting Covid everywhere. Slow. As in, expect to wait hours. It doesn’t matter what time or day, this office is slow. Remember that scene from Zootopia where the sloth played a DMV attendant? That. That’s the experience at AMD every time. The staff is slow and it doesnt seem to bother the staff that they are slow. There’s no sense of urgency to address a full waiting room. Bring a blanket and a book. Make sure you were comfortable clothing and have a clear schedule. Visiting AMD requires you forfeit the rest of your day.

Sheesh I want to brake my arm just to go talk to that front desk lady again. Sure the doctor is good an all but the secretary... 😋 *Cough cough 😷*

This was my third visit to this clinic and I’m always impressed with the staff. I was just there this morning. This is absolutely the best clinic I have been to. It’s extremely clean and very nice inside. You would not know that it’s a clinic because it’s so nice. Shelley was my physician’s assistant today and she is very professional and courteous. My wait time was only about 15 minutes. I want to thank the whole staff at the clinic for their professionalism and courtesy. Great job as usual!

I went this evening. They were very nice. Got into room and nurse came in quickly. She took vitals and basic information about my reason for visit. She went out and doctor came in within minutes. The doctor was very concerned, ran several tests. Took her time to explain things. This was one of the best visits I have had here. I would change to primary care here except they don't accept my insurance for primary care only for urgent care unfortunately.

Dr. Brummler is an amazing Dr. He became my primary 3 yrs ago at a different office and I followed him when he moved to AMD as it's rare you find a good Dr with a compassionate bedside manner. Forever thankful for this man as he saved my life 3 yrs ago. And I'll never forget it.. also love the nurses here and front desk ladies and gents. All around great Dr office/ urgent care.. ty again Dr. B.

I want to repost something after getting down to the bottom of something. Doctor brummeler is a great doctor.i don't really know about amd urgent care. My problem is this might sound a bit off topic but it's the way park medical/center just let him go.i know doctor brummeler just doesn't quit something. He's work with park medical/center for 17 years and was my doctor for over 6 years. Only disadvantage I have is I would have to be on a whating list because I'd be concerned a new patient & this place is 65 from myplace. I still hope to get dr brummeler back or if he happens to get a office closer. Hopefully something will work out

The doctors and nurses are great! They do really well with my kiddos especially my little one with autism. However, I'm only giving three stars because if you call it is hit or miss, twice out of the three times I have called with a question the lady who answered was rude, short, and made no attempt to hide her distaste I was calling. Not very professional.

I lost Dr Brummeler as my primary due to anxiety of leaving the house and missing/being late to the set amount of times for an event to happen. This scared me, I told the staff and him how bad my anxiety was but I don’t think they fully understood. Since I’ve been working on my mental health in therapy and plan to call or write and ask for another chance. Overall Dr B was well mannered, he does have his set ways and lets you know how he does things, not saying no always to what you’re asking but I respect that. Office staff has always been good. Hopefully I can see him soon. Sorry about the lates

Love how the nurses assistant jabs my daughters ear,( causing it to BLEED) while just doing a simple flush, she never apologized, never said a word. I told them I WAS NOT PAYING. A year later they snuck the bill in ( like I'd forget about the pain discomfort they caused my daughter) and informed me I HAD to pay, because there was no documentation of it happening! Well of course there wouldn't be, why set yourself up for a lawsuit right? Absolutely sickening the way they are, and of course the "manager" was always "too busy " to take my call. What a joke this facility is.

The care is exceptional with Nicole, but y’all need to clean that bathroom it’s absolutely disgusting!!!!

Would not recommend bringing your children here for urgent care. The wait is 3 hours bc it’s also a primary care provider. Went in to have my daughters leg looked at to see if she had a piece of a woodchip in her leg from a fall a month prior. There was now a small cyst that had pus (which is why I wanted it looked at) plus there was a small lump under the skin. She continued to say “I don’t see/feel anything” I had to repeat myself multiple times until she took her gloves off and then she could suddenly feel the lump but “still couldn’t see anything” (mind you, it was also bruised under the skin) well yeah, that’s bc if there’s something there, it’s completely encased in her leg bc it’s been a month since the initial fall which I said, multiple times. She didn’t offer to do an x ray or anything. She gave me antibiotics for a possible infection and that was it. I took her to her primary the next day, got an x ray the same day, and guess what ? Turns out, she DOES have something stuck in her leg and has to have it removed!! Extremely upset with the service from this PA (Kelly Murdock) she was short, didn’t share my concerns or listen and didn’t feel like an x ray was necessary which it was. I’m glad I listened to my instincts and didn’t take this persons word for it. No compassion, horrible bedside manor.

It is always very clean and professional the wait times can vary and I have gotten in and out very quickly but other times had to wait 2 hours to see a doctor, however it has ALWAYS been quicker than trying to go to the emergency room. The staff, doctors and nurses are also MUCH more caring and attentive, than those I have delt with in the ER. I have gone there personally, recommended it to my mother who liked the doctor so much she switched her primary care provider so she could go to AMD instead and I also took my son there when he was a very young baby. I was a new mom and worried about a cough he had although once we got back to the room he was laughing with the nurses and perfectly fine, the doctor and nurses were very understanding and very comforting to me and still assessed my son to assure me he was ok! I definitely recommend!!
