This team was truly exceptional. They were informed, patient, personable and walked me through the mortgage process painlessly. I'm self-employed and was in the middle of my divorce when I needed to apply, and they took great care of me. Even got me a stellar rate. If you're shopping, definitely talk to Kirk and his team.

Refinance went smoothly and the documentation was easy to manage remotely. The issues started when I tried to add extra loan payments. Allied allowed me to apply them through the system but would reverse them a few months later and take the interest back. Effectively increasing what I am paying out. A phone call to support results in me on the phone only to have them reverse it again, but never credit back the interest. Allied Mortgage does not believe in allowing you to make extra payments to the loan principle. If you are good at managing debt I advise you to look to a vendor that handles the money as you communicate to them, not in the way that is most beneficial to there ROI.

From application to closing, Allied Mortgage Group showed Customer Service beyond anything I have experienced in purchasing 8 other homes. Process took about 8 weeks to complete and was delayed by requests for us to “unlocked/unfreeze” our credit that turned out to be an issue with the underwriter. I was referred to Wendy Monaco by a friend after a less than great experience with another lender. Wendy has extensive industry experience and a wealth of knowledge that immediately gave me confidence. I just finished refinancing in 30 days. Allied group is trustful people and they are kind and nice. Bob helped me nicely from the beginning to the end. But his people are not very professional. My personal impressions was they are not really accurate in dealing with paper work or best in communication. Done with my job but not really confident referring to other people.

Absolutely the WORST mortgage company I’ve ever worked with. They do not particulate with any automatic bill pay services which requires a paper check sent out every month. Processing times, which they blame on the postal service, routinely take more than 25 DAYS!!! I have to call every month to request removal of late fees.

Chris Clancy and the Allied team were great. I had a horrendous experience with a national bank - my refinancing was taking over 6 months to complete - and came to them with very low expectations. Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly calming. I was still skeptical, but from start to finish the refinancing was seamless. And most importantly fast. We closed in less than 60 days. It could have closed sooner had I not delayed the appraisal. :) I would recommend Chris and his team to anyone interested in refinancing.

Had a very unpleasant experience while refinancing my home loan with Allied Mortgage Group this week. I was refinancing from a 30 year to 15 year term. 5 days prior to scheduled closing I got with the loan officer Mr. S.A. Patel to change the final loan amount up by $4k. He told me no problem and he would make the change. This wasn't a problem with me having a excellent credit rating, more than required income, and owing about half the appraised value of my home with the new loan. The attorney with National Equity Title came to the house on Monday afternoon for my closing. I indicated to the closing attorney that the loan amount was not what was agreed to. Ms. Ford told me no problem and added a note on the loan terms that the final loan amount would change prior to final closing and had me initial. We finish all the paperwork and she calls Allied Mortgage Group to let them know. Well now they tell her we can't close with the note on the change in amount. Then she abruptly leaves. Minutes later I get a call from a senior loan officer from Allied stating that this is what happens when you request a change to the loan amount an hour or 2 before closing placing the blame on me. This infuriated me further and I let him know the change was agreed to 5 days earlier by Mr S.A. Patel, not an hour or two before closing. Rather than choosing to be cooperative and doing what was needed to fix the discrepancy, the Senior loan officer then bullied me stating I only had two choices 1) accept closing for the lesser amount 2) reschedule or cancel closing.Not knowing where interest rates had moved, I went with the lesser amount of loan than agreed to and closed to forego the inconvenience of another closing. Why did the closing attorney with National Equity Title first tell be the amount could be changed with my initialed note that she added? Why did she rush out of the house without trying to correct the loan amount to complete the agreed to terms? After all I have a FAX and printer. The whole closing has left me with bad feelings towards both Allied Mortgage Group and National Equity Title. Will not use or recommend either in the future.

Highly Recommended! It was a pleasure completing my first home purchase with Allied mortgage . On the offset Shawn Cohen was very good to work with. He helped me along the process, always returning my calls and answering my questions and making sure the process was moving forward as promised. I like the fact that what ever document that is submitted was on line on my account to review at what stages the process was.I would recommend anybody else to give Allied a chance in their mortgage financing needs.
