We have been members for over 30 years with probably in excess of 15 k checks written. We have never had any problems in any way with them. Everyone I have done business with associated with the bank have been good at their jobs and competent. Seems the complaints show otherwise, but I can only assume most of the negative reviews are probably from the generation that expects something for nothing and has had everything done for them most of their lives.

The tellers at this branch are the least friendly, most unhappy people I have ever dealt with. They act put out everytime I come in. It takes a lot for me to complain, but after a year of using their services and the services being the same every time I go in, I've concluded they aren't having an off day, they are simply miserable, lacking customer service skills.

Most incompetent financial establishment in Gainesville. Been here a few times. Never seem to be able to help. Always get the deer in the headlight stare and a lot of I don't know answers. If I were CEO they'd all be promoted to customer. Very poor business. Scale of 1 to 10.... Negative 8

A current member wrote a check and asked me to go to the local branch to cash the check the same day. I attempted to go through the drive through to cash the check, had my 4 year old with me, but was told that I would have to come inside for the transaction. After giving a thumb print on the check I was informed that there will be a $5 fee because I'm not a member. Now remember the only reason I came to the branch was as a request of a current member. I requested to speak to the manager to have the fee be removed and was informed the manager responsible to make this decision is not here and the other branch managers would not answer the phone. Ok, $5, please just cash the check. Then after a long wait, thumb print and a signed check from a current member I'm informed that they cannot cash the check without speaking with the individual who wrote the check. What is the purpose of writing and signing checks? The individual was in meetings and unable to answer the phone. I requested for them to verify the funds and cash the check but was told that any check being cashed over $100 has to be verified by phone. I have not read this banks policies but I do know that any customer requesting clarification from a manager should not be told there is no body here and no one else is answering their phones. With the lack of professionalism and assistance I feel secure making the decision to not make any further transactions with this branch and bank.

Been a member for since 1990, it's has it's ups and downs, but your aren't hit with a lot of unnecessary charges. I've had my issues, but they are friendly and work things out.
