Buying a home is a process. This is a process that not many people can navigate without help. The specific team-members that helped me through this process were Nicole, Adrian, and Carly. This process was smooth and it really made it so much easier for me. I cannot be more appreciative of the help that these individuals have afforded me. I would not have used another lender. Definitely recommend! :)

My closing with Aligned Mortgage of Texas was by far the best closing I have ever experienced. This closing was number 4 and both Seleina Barta and Lidia Castaneda Mercado were amazing in making sure I was able to obtain my dream home. They both went above and beyond the call of duty ensuring my process went through seamlessly. But not only were they an amazing team in my home loan process, they were also instrumental in getting my closing date changed to 4/25 which was my birthday. To my surprise they ensured I had a blessed birthday as well by providing congratulations banner and balloons, as well as bringing the Aligned Mortgage team out to say congratulations to me and sing happy birthday. They even provided me with a beautiful house warming gift and photos and video for me to remember my blessed day. Aligned Mortgage is great and has an awesome team of workers and I will definitely recommend Aligned to my friends.

I recommend this company, overall, but not the team I used. My closing costs changed so many times making it very hard to plan financially. I was about to make the biggest purchase of my life [so far] and seemed like when I would ask for clarification, it was taken personal and was even asked to only contact my Loan Officer through my realtor to “keep things professional.” I borrowed a little more than the amount I was originally told I needed, from my TSP, to close. Without telling me they changed the contribution from the original amount to the amount I borrowed and without my permission. I looked passed it as I was about to close but a few days later, right after I was “clear to close” and got my congratulatory email, my Loan Officer contacted me about “more issues” with my loan and closing costs changed again; increasing to almost $5000. It was fixed last minute - Thank God - but I almost lost the house I had built and watched grow for months and even at closing, the amount was different than what the title company had (I paid the lesser amount). Never even got an explanation as to why. After raising awareness, that Loan Officer did not want to contact me again. At the end of the day, this company got me into the house I wanted but if I were to do it again, I would not have used that Loan Officer or his team. Nothing but thanks to the ones that did help and got things ironed out, though. Very thankful for those few individuals.

Moses was simply the best. As I first time homebuyer, I had an infinite amount of questions about every single aspect of the process. Mr. Moses was more than patient and thorough explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. He even answered question I did not know I needed to ask. There was no such thing as a dumb question with him. Buying a home for the first time can be one of the most intimidating undertakings, but Moses and the team at aligned mortgage made the process easy. I never felt lost or like I did not have the info I needed. If you are thinking about buying a home and are scared, you don't have to be! Aligned mortgage is the team and family for you.

I am extremely disappointed with Richard Cervantes. He never returns calls. When he does it’s only to lie and try and end the conversations. My loan did not go through not because of my credit but because of a mobile home I had on my property. I finally got it removed only to find out I would have to start the process all over again. I asked him specifically how long I had to move the mobile home he stated four months. At that time he did not explain the process. I received a text from him and I called him at that time he informed me about the above. And to I believe to avoid issues he stated he was trying to get some of the money back because I paid for 2 inspections and appraisals. He told me on the phone call initiated he would call be back the next week. And again another let down I never received a call back. I would definitely never never recommend this company nor some of the employees.

Great experience. Tyler was there for me every step of the way. All my questions were answered right away! He is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, and prompt. He made us feel like family and went above and beyond for closing! I will be coming back for aligned in the future.

Steve was extremely informative, helpful, and punctual throughout the whole process. He worked to get me closed on my house over a week early. Made my first home-buying experience smooth and stress-free.

I came across Aligned Mortage of Texas after having been working with another loan company the Home Builder employed and having many problems and frustration filling out the paperwork required online; not to mention the rude and unprofessional treatment. I really appreciate all the hard work Patrick Krawietz and the team at Aligned Mortgage put in during our loan process. Having a home built for the first time comes with a lot of stress and fear of the unknown, it was a breath of fresh air to have the loan process go so smoothly. As a 1st time buyer, I didn't know what a good deal was so I did a lot of research with other companies. This left me feeling like i was floating in the middle of the ocean bleeding and surrounded by sharks. After getting declined several times with other mortgage companies Heather immediately looked over our finances and said to us that there was no reason for us to be getting declined a mortgage and she was sure Aligned Mortgage was going to be able to help us get our first home! He is a very trustworthy man and genuinely cares about his clients. I had many questions on the endeavor of getting home loan but also the house buying process and he had all the answers! Being a first time homebuyer couldnt have been any easier when working with him. He was honest from the beginning and to the very end which i am grateful for. Never once did i need to doubt him and his work. He even recommended i shopped around and was not pressed on losing my possible business. With that in mind, he genuinely wanted the best for me even if it wasn't with him. Greg stuck his head out for me throughout the entirety and not once coerced or pressured me to go with him. Not only we’re they willing to step up, they made sure we had options to be able to move forward with the home buying process. Really disappointed. DOES NOT have veterans in their best interest. Didn’t check bcad to see veteran exemption status and we have lost out on $$$$ on closing day. Would not recommend them, simple work that was overlooked and not willing to take responsibility for. If I Would rate 0 stars if I could.

We had the privilege of working with Eric, as we navigated our very first home purchase. Admittedly, my wife and I were clueless when it came to purchasing a home, but we both knew we were ready. Being a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I heard both good and bad about dealing with the VA. Long story short, we met with a family friend, Rob Saenz with Xsellence Realty, to discuss our home buying options. He set us up with a loan officer who we had trouble connecting with. After we voiced our displeasure, we were then referred to Eric Nunez with Aligned Mortgage and it was a night and day difference. Being a veteran himself, I knew Eric had our best interests at heart. He made sure we were well informed of everything as the process rolled on. He was in constant communication and was always quick to respond to any and all questions we had. Buying a home is stressful enough, especially your first, when you have zero experience. But Eric, calmed our fears and did all he could to get us into the home we loved. We hear it all the time "We support our Veterans" however, in my experience, it does not always seem that way. Aligned was different, I felt it and observed it first hand with Eric. When we finally were approved and signed our closing documents, he was right there with us, sharing tears of joy and happiness. He understood and knew exactly the position we were coming from. I cannot express my gratitude enough, through words nor text. Eric helped us make our dreams come true and gave our family something to cherish forever. My loan officer was never organized. I was repeatedly asked for information that was already sent to them. My numbers never matched up to what was discussed. The evening before closing, I was told I needed to pay $3,500 MORE than what my closing document said. Via email at that. My loan officer, Kristen, didn’t even have the respect to call me, just inform me over email by her assistant the amount I needed to bring to closing. The next morning before I closed, she blamed her team and did not take any accountability for her mistake. It’s unfortunate that this is her profession and that she made so many mistakes. I wouldn’t wish anyone the amount of stress that was put on me. I’m very upset a week later that I had to pay $3,500 more than what I was told. This is my second home loan and it did not go as smooth as the first loan company I went with. I will not refer or use this company ever again.

This is my third home purchase, and I can truly say, Orlando has provided the best service so far! He is knowledge, considerate, and prompt, and was on top of things at every stage. Oddly, the sellers were least cooperative, and Orlando and Diana’ teams had to redo paperwork multiple times due to closing date rescheduling. I did not see any hint of exasperation in them! They also allowed us to do a relock when the rates changed substantially. I would recommend this team heartily!!

They secured me the lowest rate compared to other lenders with the ease of doing it from my mobile app. The process did take longer than usual but I don’t hold that against them as my wife and I understand the constraints with COVID and the week long freeze that shut everything down to include my work for an entire week.
