I had an incredible experience with Alderus Mortgage. I worked with Troy Hadley & he was so informative. He was always available to answer any questions & explain things as a refinance can be overwhelming & confusing. Especially since this was my first time. I liked their real-time, user-friendly system that made it easy to refer to for the details on my account & see all my options / things to do. I was able to upload forms easily without there being a trail of emails. I will definitely be using Alderus in the future for all my home needs!

I usually do not write reviews and on top of that give 5 stars. However, this was the exception. I was looking for a home in Vegas. During this time, I was not looking for new construction but re-sales. I got pre-approved with Alderus Mortgage and the process was seamless. In the process of looking for a home, I never found one that I liked. So, my realtor suggested we look at new construction. While looking at new constructions I finally found one that I liked. I went through the builder's mortgage company so I can get all of the credits for the new home. Once they gave me the rates, origination and lending fees, and closing cost I sent this information to Alderus Mortgage (Julie) to see if they can give me better rates. Julie called me and stated that the builder's rates were great and that I should go with them. Julie them proceeded to give me advice on what I should do before and after closing. I was shocked because usually if you don't go with the company, they say "bye" and go about their business. This is not what happened at Alderus Mortage. They actually care about you whether you are a customer or not. This is how a business should be run. I should know, I am small business owner as well and I care about people. I am positive I will be doing business with Alderus Mortgage in the future.

Todd and Alderus were super helpful throughout our buying process. We were able to buy a home that had multiple offers on it. In the current Vegas market it can be hard to get an offer accepted without a cash offer, but Todd personally called the agent of the sellers to let her know my loan was solid. I believe that call is what helped to seal the deal.

Todd Gainley has now taken care of a refi and a purchase for us. The purchase had some challenges, but Todd was always there when we had questions, and was able to get us to closing ahead of schedule. His knowledge and professionalism really helped us through all the road bumps created by the less-than-responsive seller. Hoping that I don't need mortgage services again, but if I do I know Todd will continue to be my go-to guy!

Alderus was very upfront and easy to work with. Especially for me as I had a sizable chunk of my down payment in the form of crypto. In this market waiting for cash to sit in your bank account waiting to season is the same as leaving money on the table so I needed someone who could work with me with shorter turn around from sale of assets to purchase of a property. I asked them to initially put together a Total Cost Analysis for Vegas but my fiance and I after visiting decided to instead look for a home in Southern California. They did mortgages in California too and had a very easy time pivoting to that market and putting together a new TCA for the price range we needed. Once we got through to escrow everything was very smooth and communication was there whenever I needed. Very much recommended!

Shaun and his team was great! It was such a rollercoaster process but having the support of Shaun to accomplish our goals for a home within the right range and the right monthly was very appreciated! The best part was being able to see the Total Cost Analysis was very helpful. Communication was on point and we never felt pressured, they stuck through and through until the end. The market is competitive at the moment and when we needed numbers to put in an offer late night they were there for us and was able to provide it quick! It took about 2 months to get a home but now we have a home with a monthly payment we can work with, they were there every step of the way and we appreciate everything. To be 100% Honest…. Alderus was All Around and Across the board Truly Amazing throughout the entire process.They were able to help me move from my conventional FHA into a VA Loan dropping us from 4.25% down to 3% and not to mention they were also able to drop my monthly payment by over $500 dollars as well. If you are in need of help with your next home purchase, refinance, or even just a great customer experience you have to reach out to Julie and her amazing team at Alderus Mortgage.

RUN AWAY!! Disorganized. Inept. Incompetent. Unprofessional. These are all words I would use to describe Alderus Mortgage. By way of background, I have been buying and selling properties for more than 30 years and this is THE WORST financing experience I have ever had. I am an attorney. I have very little debt, solid income, solid assets, and a credit score above 800. Originally, they said the loan was going to be “easy”, and “no problem”. It took Alderus nearly TWO MONTHS, with trips up and down to underwriting, the “Head of Risk Management” and ultimately the CEO, Coby Baker, who finally decided to decline this loan. All the while, Alderus was telling me I would have an answer “tomorrow”. This went on for weeks! Even my realtor, a broker with 40 years experience was screaming at them. Alderus repeatedly asked for documents that I had already sent to them, even asking for documents I had sent just hours earlier. Every day it seemed there was a new requirement, a new document, something else they needed. By the time they had finished, I had sent them more than 1,000 pages of documents. And why did they decline? Because I lost money on an investment in 2020 and Alderus could not figure out the difference between an investment loss and debt! I did not borrow money for the investment. I did not owe any more money for the investment. It was an investment loss and not debt. I even sent them the dictionary definition of debt, and they still could not figure it out. This company drug this out for so long that except for the good graces and understanding of the sellers of the property we bought, Alderus would have cost me $20,000 in earnest money! It was an incredibly stressful experience. After Alderus declined my mortgage, I went to Melissa Foster at Evergreen Mortgage. I had a verbal approval within three days and my loan closed two weeks after that. No stress. No having to explain the difference between investment loss and debt. No going to “Risk” or the “CEO” or whoever else Alderus used to pass the buck. Just fast, friendly, professional service and a closed loan. RUN AWAY FROM ALDERUS MORTGAGE!!!

Alder Mortgage, specifically Juls Sanchez did an excellent job in helping me re-finance my house. Juls was very knowledgable on what she does, very professional and keeps me updated on a regular basis. I have never felt like she was ignoring me or too busy for me at all. She will call me just to give regular updates and answer all my questions. She would let me know in advance to expect a required document to be reviewed or signed. I have never experienced such professionalism and excellent customer service like Juls. I am more than happy to recommend her to anybody I know. Thank you for making this experience for me easy.

DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Angelica Meza was my mortgage advisor, and all she did was screw my wife and I out of money! There was not one single accurate detail that she provided. She constantly messed up our paperwork, set us up to fail, and STARTED IGNORING OUR PHONE CALLS WHEN WE NEEDED IMPORTANT MATERS RESOLVED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!! We just lost our deposit on a house and they literally have ignored our calls and refuse to acknowledge that they changed all of our details after telling us to sign for a house. AS A WHOLE, this company and underwriting staff is EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT. Not a single person knew what they were doing and made up facts as the process continued. I promise I am not a "karen" and I have all of the conversations documented showing a complete failure as a company. I seriously don't know how they are in business still.

As a listing agent, I was blown away by their service and weekly communication Alderus provided. I was so impressed that they do ALL of client paperwork in advance before going into contract so they are fully qualified and ready to go! After they were able to close early on my listing as the buyers agent lender, I highly recommend their service.

Julie Sanchez and the Alderus Mortgage team did an exceptional job! They closed my jumbo in 3 weeks! Some of the things I liked about them include: 1) Online loan application and electronic signatures. 2) Online portal to upload all necessary documents to complete the loan. 3) Task notifications so you don't forget what you still need to complete. 4) Scheduled weekly update to make sure you're still on track. 5) Professional and courteous. 6) Did I mention they closed my jumbo in 3 weeks?
