ACE Cash Express Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville

The guy was rude bc I came in 15 minutes before closing and my customer that wrote me the check didn't answer the first time he called to verify the check and he refused to try again bc by the time I made sure my customer was in his office to answer it was 10 minutes before closing....he then proceeded to berate me for coming in so close to closing and acted like I was up to no good or something! I had a legitimate business check for $1500 which would've been a nice fee for cashing it! Not sure if he was having a bad day or what....

I have been helped by Ms Wanda at 2 different ACE locations ..she's very nice & helpful..takes her time to help explain everything that needs to be explained very well!..Ms Wanda is Awesome!!

I have used ACE quite a few times since I had to close my bank account. Upon my last visit I was told a check for less than 100$ would be held for 7 days. Nowhere on the website or in store is that a stipulation of cashing a personal handwritten check. I had just cashed a check two days prior to my last visit and then told that this one would have to be held. I wanted time, gas, and money going up there to do what I had just done 48 hours before, just to be turned away. My 9 month old daughters needs do not wait, nor do my sick mother's. If it were specified that would have been different. But I was not aware until the associate in store told me. And again, I had just cashed a check two days prior at the same location with no problems. UPDATE: The manager of these stores, Ms.Christine, contacted me within 30 minutes of posting this. She was beyond willing and eager to fix my problem. She asked me to explain how everything happened and then informed me that THEY DO NOT HOLD CHECKS FOR 7 DAYS, all the while being friend understanding and kind. She said that this was ludicrous considering this business is here to cash checks like mine. She then asked me to return to that same location to cash my check at a very discounted rate to compensate for my troubles. A very friendly employee assisted me while there and also said she knew nothing of them having to hold a check for any period of time. I am very satisfied with the way this problem was handled and I will continue to take my business to ACE, and refer them to friends as well. Thanks again Ms.Christine! Your help did not go unnoticed!!
