We are so happy to have found Alex and his team, I can be very difficult to work with but he and and his team kept me updated every day on the purchase of our new home. I was very impressed that they were able to close on my new home so quickly, I believe we entered escrow on 12/19 and closed on 1/15, super impressive!! I had previously refinanced 3 of my other homes though lending tree, my primary home took over 3 months, another rental home took 4 months and the last one took over 6 months. The team working on your loan does matter. If I purchase another home there wouldn't be a question on who I would go to. I was always able to reach Alex and his team, some time during off hours when I expected to get voice mail. I don't write reviews for just anybody, but they were over the top wonderful!!

Matt, Lori, and the rest of the team were great at keeping me up to date on what is happening, and were always available to assist me if I had any questions. They made the process of being approved for a loan super easy and did a lot to make it run smoothly!

This was my second experience with Academy Mortgage, my first with Matt. Things went very smoothly on our end with Academy and Matt and we were never waiting on them to process anything. They were always ahead of the other parties. This was great because it allowed us to control the things we had control over. He was prompt with responses to questions, even calling me and having a 20 min conversation about my mortgage options. It was informative and I never felt rushed on the phone. He offered his time and made sure to answer all of my questions, providing his honest professional opinion as well.
