We knew we wanted to work with Alex Shelton and his team after our introduction call. He made sure to teach us all the basics about the home loan process. Alex worked around the clock when we needed him and had weekly status calls. The fact that Alex was available for any questions, was especially important for us as first time home buyers. Once we were in escrow his team was very friendly, and detail oriented very on top of their tasks making it a smooth process.

As always, I had a great experience with Michael Lara and his team. The customer service is point on and very they are quick to respond to calls or emails. When we hit a bump in the process, they were on the phone with me and my buyer. They were able to offer a few different loan solutions and in the end the buyer received the best loan program. The communication throughout the process is most important to a successful transaction.

My Buyer had been working with another lender, we had an accepted contract. The appraisal was ordered almost as soon as escrow was opened. About a day before the appraisal was due to be completed, the lender finally realized that the home was a manufactured home, and the company the lender works at doesn't have a loan product for manufactured homes. So we have hit a "brick wall". The Seller's real estate agent recommended Academy Mortgage and Charles, so I gave Charles a phone call, and he assured me he could provide a loan product and could close escrow in as little as two weeks if necessary. Charles talked to my client, got the information he needed, and went to work with an aggressive schedule and an efficient flow of information. Even with the setback that we experienced, we were able to close escrow 3 days earlier than the initial negotiated close of escrow date. Charles and his team did a great job in getting this sale turned around from a "brick wall" to a completed sale.

Jeff Denney went above and beyond and was amazing to work with. He was extremely communicative and made us feel comfortable about asking any questions. We had a very tight deadline and a few curveballs but Jeff made it happen! We will definitely be recommending him to anyone we know!
