A-MAX Auto Insurance W Illinois Ave, Dallas

For reference: I work in customer service/technical support. I called in just wanting to know if the insurance policy that was requested was the same as what was provided in the final documents. After I asked this and provided the required information, the lady on the phone pretended to put me on hold (I could clearly tell that I was not put on hold since I continued to hear background noises of her breathing and typing) and after the "hold" was over, kept saying "Hello? Can you hear me?" while I continued to respond "Yes I'm here, can you hear me?" and hearing an echo of myself saying this. From experience, I know that if you hear an echo from the customer's side, it means that the customers speaker is sounding loudly enough (and the delay was high enough) that you could hear yourself as long as the mic wasn't muted. I could hear every word I said (and she said). She could clearly hear me yet I clearly heard her switch to a nervous tone when I said "I can hear myself through your speaker" and she ended the call 3 seconds later. This repeated for second phone calls requesting the same information from a second number. I waited for the local office to close and then called corporate, who were able to provide the details I needed. Some advice for this local office: Teach your phone representative to just give it to the customer straight and advise them that you cannot provide the information they need, that they will need to call X to get that information. Do not EVER pretend that you can't hear the customer until its not your problem anymore.

I was shopping around for auto insurance and decided to give A-max a visit. Cynthia greeted me and asked what I was looking for in a new policy. Dania Garcia showed me great customer service and made me feel very comfortable and informed. She even had a jar of candy’s on her desk for my son to enjoy. If you go to this location I definitely recommend asking for her.

Meli.. that s the lady, that take care as.. she was wonderful, she explained every single point, about how the insurance works, she gives a different option s .she was Cain, respect, than one thing, she keep her smile all the time, Wich is very rare to find, in this world..God bless her, I don't know about any other girls service in there. But because, MS. MELI, me and my family, we give 5 stars to, Meli service, and to this place 🌹

Walking into this A-max was a pleasant experience. I was promptly greeted by a one of your employees named Courtney. She was excellent at getting me help with what I needed quickly and was super friendly and knowledgeable. I even over heard some of the other workers and they also sounded positive and polite with their customers. I will absolutely return to this location in the future! It was clean and had a great vibe. Courtney was very professional and I am happy with the insurance I received.

Melsy is the insurance Queen!!! The young lady was courteous, knowledgeable and patient. Melsy worked, non stop, over the phone and in person to get us better coverage than we had before!! Her customer service was impeccable!! When we finally made it to the office to finalize everything she was even better in person. My family has used Amax FOREVER! This time was our best interaction, best policy ever offered and most importantly affordable!!! Thanks to Melsy and Amax!!!!

I went into this place to add a Vehicle to my policy and the Agent Yanette was great and has the best Customer Service. The bad thing about the place is a lingering oder that I smelled as I walked in the door. Even with my mask I could smell it. Can't describe the oder but it was like a mixture of wet carpet, mold, and something dead.. I got a bad headache while I was in there..

I was unsatisfied with the high rates for the liability insurance rate and the coverage it covered with the high rate.. there were no amenities for going with this company my opinion
