I have used AMAX for years. Today I was given EXCELLENT customer service by Nicole and one of her reps that initially answered from the NRH office. Nicole patiently listened to my situation and was very considerate to addressing my concerns. She worked hard to provide me with the best quote possible. We were on the phone for 45 mins due to a miscommunication in billing. She worked with me until we were able to resolve the issue. She was never dismissive at all and took care of me as a loyal customer in a kind and professional manner! Thanks again!

Worst customer service, they are lazy and RUDE! They will place you on hold and never come back, they will actually answer and hang up (all while talking and laughing in the background) There's hundreds of insurance companies and agents that have caring and professional customer service representatives, but you will not find that here. STAY AWAY!

I spoke with Nikki on the phone and she was incredibly helpful and patient with me. She was very polite and had no attitude (which is rare these days) I was driving while trying to figure this insurance thing out and she made it so easy and even waited for me to pull over to get my vin. She didn’t stop till she found me the perfect coverage I needed and when it came time to email me everything she did it right away. From start to finish the process took maybe 15 minutes. Definitely going to ask for her every time.

Where do I start? I was given a quote of $70 for liability and then my insurance company, under the Amax umbrella, goes out of business. Now I decide to add full coverage and quoted $170. Well, after making the first payment, I was being billed almost $300. Oh, and it gets better! I was then hit by a drunk driver in my new car. The was driving a brand new BMW and guess what, no insurance. This happened in the middle of April and just now received the check for repairs. Trying to get in touch with an actual person in the claims department was a nightmare. I was contacted two times by the claims adjuster and I called them at least 15-20 times. Then the estimate was a joke, because they calculated the estimate by pictures that were sent to them. I had an on-site estimate made by a local collision and repair company which came to almost $4000. Amax estimate was under $1100. Then I receive a refund check for $116 for being over charged for the one month. Now my insurance payment will be around $30 more because of the refund. So, basically they are stealing the money back from me that was owed to me in the first place. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they want to experience all the above. Never been so disappointed with company as I have been with this one. I know I will get the generic apology as with the other comments. That should tell you a lot about the companies customer loyalty.

Absolutely seamless and smooth! I showed up 8:50 and The extremely lovely Nicole was there to get me started 10 min before they even opened. professional, swift, and played great music! Get this woman a raise!

Went to cancel my policy,Only one person working, Only had one customer at the counter. Waited for over a HR,No service at all. Avoid this company if possible.

Called and canceled a policy a month ago since I opened one with a better insurance company. I called in to follow up about my refund check since the policy was paid for the month but canceled early, and the rep argued I was wrong and that it canceled bc of non payment and I owe a $33 past due balance. This company is a joke, look for other options.

NIKKI!!!!! You are the BEST! Not only was NIKKI professional but helped me save money, saved me so much money, and customer service was amazing. Nikki was the first person in 3 years since I’ve been with AMAX to have a warm personality with exceptional customer service! If I could give Nikki a raise I definitely would!

Spoke to Nikki when I called today and she was excellent!!! She took her time to help me and asked me great questions that no one has asked me before and I have been with them for 3 years now. She made sure all of the questions I had were answered as well. She was very patient....she rocks!!!
