Normally when going into a bank it’s friendly, welcoming, and pleasant but that definitely was not the experience today when I came in for the first time to open an account for my business. The only reason I didn’t walk out was because of the fact this account is strictly for business and not personal. I had to leave out the bank to drive around to the atm because their machines inside weren’t working, and the teller was not friendly at all with hardly any expression. Despite it being so close to home I may never physically walk into this location again.

Customer service is awful. I've been waiting for 15 minutes and there are 4 other tellers here that could be assisting. No one seems to care at all. UPDATE: the branch manager Paula reached out after leaving this review and explained they are still using social distancing hence why some tellers are available and others aren't. She was very professional, kind and understanding. I really appreciated the call to make it right. Thanks Paula.

Says they are open today online and they are not.... anytime you call you get a runaround about simple answers they pass you off to another caller. Who also then says IDK let me forward you to someone else. You would think a financial institution would be a little more on top of things. Do not bank here.

I've been using the nightly deposit envelope drop at the Southfield location on Thursday nights for Friday morning deposit. I've been utilizing it since February 2022 as it's on my way home and this location doesn't have an ATM deposit available. In February, my pay check always went in by lunchtime. The last 2 times, I had to leave work early because my check that was dropped in the night deposit wasn't in my account. Both times I walked into the branch about 5:30pm on Friday and my pay check still hadn't been deposited. This last time when I went inside the branch, after leaving work early, I was asked to see my ID. Why? I dropped my check in the after hours night depository......meaning that I don't have the opportunity to make it to the branch during business hours. I just don't understand. I would expect the night depository to be a priority in the mornings. I also don't understand how someone can deposit my check into an account that I didn't specify. The last 2 times I wanted my check deposited to my savings and both times it was messed up. March 25 my check was deposited to my Secondary savings, not the primary savings that I specified on the deposit ticket. And again today, April 8......my check was deposited to my checking when my deposit ticket specified the primary savings. Please be more careful and make night depository at Southfield a priority in the mornings...... don't wait until you're about to close to process. Thank you

So slow. 20 minutes in line with 4 people behind the counter. Not my usual zeal, I'm pretty disappointed though.

I love Zeal Credit Union. This is the best credit union around, they are dependable, reliable and customer service is awsome

Idk what is up with this location its always crowded super slow idk if they need more staff or what you can never make a deposit at this locations atm it’s ridiculous because the other branches allow you to expect this one and isn’t fair to people who don’t live near Livonia so if you don’t make it before they close you have to go to either one of there other atms that allow deposits

Terrible customer service. I spoke with Alanda by phone regarding a car loan, we argued and she hung up on me. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. I do not recommend.
