Moses was absolutely fantastic!!! He went over and beyond to help us decide on what vehicle best for our needs. This included driving over to another dealership so we could do a side by side review. He walked us thru every step. And was very patient as we compromised on cost. As for the sales manager and finance officer, they were awesome to. They were warm and personable. I like young Chevy however I need a truck for my business and they were able to find one for me. I needed a bill of sale to show my bank for approval. It was after the bank had closed so I wasn't going to hear back until the following day. I was in the process of getting everything squared away through my bank and they let me know someone else was going to buy the truck. I didn't even get 24 hours to try and get things set up on my end. No I didn't put a deposit down because I didn't have the money at the time. It was looking like the bank was going to help me with it but they had already sold the truck to someone else. I signed a bill of sale that they put a date on but they said because I didn't go through the finance portion that the date didn't apply to me. Not sure why they would sign something that they aren't going to honor.

Had a really good salesman talk to me. Was a very fun guy to talk to, got along really well. Didn’t seem like I was talking to a salesman it was more like a friend, he answered my texts on his personal phone at one in the morning to help me out and get me into the car that I want. Would recommend if ever buying a car from Young Chevy to go through Donald green, can’t stress this enough. Did great work for me.

Was quoted 189 for car detail, but charged 199. Because I didn't have the quote in writing and they don't have the prices on their chart, I ended up paying the difference. Back window was extremely smudgey after a "platinum" detail. Otherwise everything looked great.

I would give it a 0 if I could. Terrible service and plain out lied to by a sale representative. I was told that when my brother purchased a expensive vehicle he would be able to give a free oil change to friends and family and when we went to redeem them they told us it was only $20 off. They used the free oil changed as a tactic to sell the vehicle and when it came down to doing what they said they would do they lied. These people are what is wrong with our society, having no integrity or veracity. If you can purchase a vehicle from ANY other dealership I would highly recommend it. Don’t give business to these lying thieves.

I have a 2016 Silverado i have been trying to install tow mirrors on. I called there parts department and spoke to nick i must say he went about as out of his way to help me he could and was fantastic. So management you have a keeper in nick give this guy a paid day or two off. He needs to tech you next customer service training.

I had my car brought in for my minor by work. A ripped floor board and scratches on the diriver's side door. Was told you would need it from 3-15 thru 3-21 which seemed a long but was assured all parts had been ordered to start work. On 3-21 I was told we need some additional parts and car won't be ready until the 22nd. then told it won't ready until the 23rd. Don't understand why there wasn't more competence which cost me excessive time without my car. They quality of the repairs was fine but the lack of concern over the inconvenience of not having transportation didn't seem to be there! Look forward to a response.

I went to Young Chevrolet in hopes of trading my Jeep for a used EV bolt , dealer was out of stock and tried to sell me a "used" Kia EV for $40,000 , I'm disabled work at a blue collar job ,there is no way I could afford that , I'm also a veteran and I feel that they are making it to where only a white collar job can afford a used car let alone a new car . Sad day in America where American auto manufacturers are absolutely trying to take advantage of Americans!! Very sad ! I will not return to any Young dealership .I also don't suggest that anyone does business with these people at the Layton Utah location !

The service here is a joke. If I could rate them lower I would. I bought my car less than three years ago and every time I have to bring it into the service center it’s a fight to get answers. It takes calling over and over to even get them to pick up the phone, if they ever pick up the phone. I will never buy another car here.

My 2021 tahoe needed warranty work. They only fixed half of what needed to be done and scratched my car in the process. Would not recommend their work at all.

I called because Young chevrolet had the pickup I wanted. The exact pickup!!! So I confirmed availability, and locked down pricing. Once that occured, Young's staff went to work. They ensured that the Stone Shield was installed, Tint, and all other products. I drove over 500 miles to get my vehicle and it was ready to go. They ensured my trade-in was good, we did the contract and I was on my way. Keenan was outstanding!!! He answered all of my questions and follow-up questions. I will come back, it was that easy. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with this group.

I brought my 08 gmc in for a air bag recall and they tookb2 days longer to repair, upon picking up vehicle the service airbag light was on, they had broken my interior door panel and driver side seat switch, my door was also damaged. I was told oh well something else must be wrong with air bags sorry and that I needed to call back and schedule an appointment to have the damage looked at. I was currently waiting to purchase my new Chevy pearl white that arrives next week for 72,0000 and I will never do business here again. I had a bad experience 10 years ago and apparently nothing has changed. My fiance and I had saved and saved for her to get a new car also she was proud she had saved 10k to put down and was ore approved for double what the car she was wanting , I test drove with her and got back told the salesman tobwrite it up we would take it, I had to get back to work this was at 1 pm and she sat there forb4 hours being ignored while the salesman tried to sell other cars cuz he knew it was a done deal and she is a quiet non violent person who kindly asked multiple times how long till it was done and at 530 when I got off work she was still waiting, he was finally done with her paperwork right before closing and I told him to keep it, we went down the street bought a new Honda in 20 minutes, if you want a fai r price or service DO NOT GO TO YOUNG CHEVY OR FAST TRACK

Had this dealership do the battery recall for my 2017 Bolt and I'm very happy with the service. After calling around to a few other clueless dealerships and having one closer to me bungle the software update. I decided to call around. Young Chevrolet knew exactly what I was talking about. They ordered the battery immediately which took a few days to arrive, and then they replaced the pack in one day. I've had it back for a while and have had zero problems. Looks like they did everything right and I appreciate it.

I had great support and patience from all the sales people that it took to find me the right car for the right price. I was engaged and needed a new vehicle that wouldn't tank the wedding budget but I wouldn't feel embarrassed to be seen in. They came through in spades! They kept their eyes open for anything that might interest me and were patient as I was indecisive and a tough sell. Never felt pressured, felt like they actually wanted me to find a solution that fit my life rather than their wallet. Excellent first time car buying experience.

The car was fixed after six weeks, and it came back with exploded stains all over the inside roof. They claimed that this happened before we dropped our car off. We reasoned with them. Nothing happened. We don't drink soda or coffee to leave this kind of stain in the car. If it is a chocolate milk from our son, that would be in the back seat and not the front seat.

Overall I was highly pleased with the warranty work I received and the coordination I had with McKenzie. The phone operators were always able to route my calls and get me in touch with someone in the service department quickly. I had multiple follow-up calls over the course of two weeks, so this was important to me. I highly appreciated the rental car while my own was in the shop. My only feedback would be to have a rental car available sooner if possible. I had to wait 3 days for the rental on the front end, so my family and I had to work around that for a little longer than originally hoped.

STELLAR SERVICE! Just bought another car from Young Chevrolet. Upon arrival at the dealership I was immediately greeted and introduced to the friendly staff. They were kind to my son and helped keep him entertained while I picked out and test drove many cars. My Salesman Chad went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car! I had an ambient temperature sensor replaced in my 15 Denali Duramax. The mirrors were required to be replaced due to previous owner having aftermarket mirrors that did not have the sensor. All was well until I left and ventured onto the highway. After 40mph both mirrors slapped the windows due to the wind/speed. I texted my service department manager (Young Chev Layton) about it and haven't heard a single thing in return. I can't leave my truck for days to get this fixed and my Haynes manual, YouTube, and Google are of no help at the moment.

First of all, Moses our sales agent was fantastic. He was very friendly, helpful and conversational. He did not give any "car sales guy" vibes so my wife and I were very comfortable around him and were able to judge the car in a very pleasant manner. The test drive went fantastic, and the ability to do a side-by-side comparison with a competing vehicle was highly valued. In that I was grateful we could have Moses along for the entire journey, and glad we could reward his efforts with a purchase. The Bolt was the clear winner after our comparisons.

Worse buying experience. Hype up things like free tire repair included and free services included and free anti theft on some low jack installed tracking system ( so if you skip out on payments they can repo it easier) Also told that the car would not be on me as I was a co-signer only to find out after being rushed out of financing ( I was told by the finance guy after I asked while signing papers I was not the title holder) that I just bought the truck. Yeah shame on me for not being more on top of the paper work but shame on you for misleading, dishonest, sales practice. My son could have saved over 8000 dollars on “included free” items.

In my forth month with this vehicle plagued with electrical, transmission, door lock, windshield issues. Sold me a car with broken motor mounts, steering components, suspension pieces, etc but claimed 100 + point inspection was done. Service Department will leave your car sitting for several days without touching it. They do not return calls, keep appointments, or fix your car. Service manager at Layton lies. Left a message with their legal department. Maybe someone will call me back.

I'm disappointed with my recent experience. I bought a car from them several years ago and it went well so I decided to go to them again. I had a car picked out and when I showed up to test drive it they had it up front with a "Welcome Megan" sign in the dash. I asked to have my approval ran first to make sure I could afford the payment before test driving it. The salesman was a nice guy. But he came back and said I was approved but that the car had just been sold. I was upset that they would sell it when it clearly had been set aside for me. So imagine my disappointment 3 days later when their secretary texted me to ask if I was still interested in that very same vehicle. When I texted back I was told it had already bee. Sold she never responded. Sure enough it was still on their website. Very upset with the lack of honesty. I wont be coming back.

This company lies about their inspections before their cars are sold. Service/Sales department are incompetent. They sold me a car with broken electrical, steering, suspension, windshield, tie-rod ends etc I was quoted a bill for almost 4 grand today from another mechanic for suspension they said they replaced. This is the 4th time I have had to take this junk to a real mechanic. 4 times in their shop and their service department claims they can't find anything wrong. My mechanic says there is no way they didn't know. Do not do business with this company. They are liars.

My truck hasn't even been out the shop for week and now it is leaking trans/oil fluid all over my driveway. They repaired the vehicle leak only to have it leak from everywhere else they worked on the truck.

I had an appointment for 9 in the morning to do a simple computer upgrade. The procedure should have only taken 30 minutes to complete, but they didn't even get to my vehicle until 3 in the afternoon. If you are going to have an appointment system, then you should stick with the appointments or let customers know upfront that it's going to take longer than normal.

Over the weekend my daughter and I went to Young Chevrolet to buy a her a new car. I initially thought that this was going to be a painfully long process that would leave me feeling like I had been talked into a bad decision just so a sale could be made. However I was pleasantly surprised by the young man, Anthony Weight, who had helped us. He made sure that the entire process was simple and hassle free without making us feel pressured into buying anything. This was one of the better car buying experiences I have had in many years. This has truly been the best car buying experience from beginning to end! First of all Kim was great! After dealing with a few unexpected events she was finally able to find a date and time that worked well for me and my unpredictable schedule. When I arrived at the dealership, I was quickly introduced to DJ Black and Sebastian (a new trainee) who both helped me find a killer deal on a used 2019 Chevy Equinox that truly exceeded all of my expectations. I’ll be honest, my financial situation was not ideal. I was extremely upside down on my old vehicle, but thankfully DJ and the finance guru named Roger were able to offer me a fair price for my trade-in. More importantly, they were able to get me the special financing I needed to not only absorb the overage from my old vehicle, but also kept my monthly payments very close to the same amount as I was paying before. In addition, I was able to get a 4 year warranty, 2 years of free maintenance and I even qualified for Gap insurance! That’s Amazing! I truly enjoyed the quality of service I received from the whole team ~ Kim, Sebastian, Roger and especially DJ. DJ was professional, knowledgeable and super easy to work with. He has gone above and beyond to ensure all of my needs were met and has been so helpful before, during and even after my purchase. June 9, 2021 - I took my 2016 Colorado into Young Chevrolet of Layton, Utah. There I was met by your Service Advisor, Blake Hipwell. Blake was very friendly yet professional, he was knowledgeable about my Colorado and stated that he had helped me the last time I had taken my Colorado in for service. I was there for the 30,000 mile service. Blake explained what the 30,000 mile service included and approximately how long it would take to complete. Blake made me feel that I was in good hands and he would follow up to ensure everything was taken care of properly Blake is a credit to Young Chevrolet as he made my visit enjoyable and that my Colorado was in good hands.

This place is 100% dishonest. They bully and intimidate customers into buying a vehicle. We need up buying one after they lied to us about the price. We bought a brand new truck a week ago. But they don't know when we can pick it up. Mean while they took our truck and we are left with nothing. My biggest regret is walking on to their lot. Nothing but crooks.

They had the suburban all day long to do simple services and cab filter. Then we picked up the suburban and turned on the ac and had horrible noises coming from blower they had dropped leaves into it when changing the filter so we had to go back. It took over a hour to get the stuff out of the blower. And all we were told was it happens. You would think it would be checked before sending back to customer.

I live in Colorado and found a truck at the Layton Utah dealership. I talked to Tanner over the phone who immediately started sending me pictures and taking care of me. Tanner always answered his phone, even at home, and made buying this truck very easy. I ended up driving there and forgot my checkbook, but the whole crew figured out a solution for me and made it happen. Even though the drive was long, it was worth it working with this dealership and the people there. I wish they were my local dealer. Great job and service! Can't thank everyone there enough.

Wow. Came in yesterday wanted to see a duramax half ton. Told the guy hey we are in the process of selecting best truck for us. We have a trade that wanted an appraisal on. Scott Cheney really didn’t value our time. I was willing to put a deposit down if numbers worked but he wouldn’t even give me numbers on anything kinda shoveled me out the door. I guess young Chevrolet doesn’t want our business. Oh well.

Tanner was easy to talk to but once his sales manager stepped in it wasn’t as good of an experience. He told me he would fight for us. Typical sales approach. He didn’t fight for anything but his sale. It is a nice car but the service is disappointing at best. I called about a concern and was told I’d get a call back, five days later still waiting on that call. Seems like now that the sale is done they don’t want to talk. Not likely to return or recommend this dealership.

We were looking for a Jeep and happened to go into Young Audi in Layton. We were greeted immediately by Melvin and he went above and beyond to locate a Jeep in our price range and had it brought from one of their other lots. He was so helpful and worked through everything with us. I can’t say enough how friendly, knowledgeable and on top of things he was! I’d definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. We drove 40 minutes here to see about trading in a car. They told us we could get $5,100 for it and said they would try to get $6,000 for the trade in on our Chevy Cruz. Tried to sell us on a car for $21,000 after I specifically said I cannot do anything MORE THAN $10,000 on a new car. We found something within our budget and they said they could get it the next day. He pushed us to run our credit to get a pre-approval. Basically with a guarantee that we would be able to get a car. Since my credit was above where it needed to be. The next day I got a call saying that the car we chose wouldn't work so we went through a few over the phone that we could choose from. So we drove all the way back, another 40 minutes. To see the cars available. Then they ask us for our paystubs (which through our bank, they don't require that since, we have auto pay). They should have let us know what we needed to bring the next day to get a car in the first place. Then they put us with another guy who was much more pushy than the last. He WITHHELD information from us. And when I said "I can't do more than $10,000. And I do not want a Chevy. I want a used Honda, Toyota, Hundai, or something similar. NO. I don't want another Chevy." He showed us a car that was great. I loved the car. Took us inside to try and do paperwork. He couldn't find any appraisal for our car we were trying to trade in. He gave us a print out for the car he showed us, the payments PER MONTH was over 200$ MORE than what I said we could afford. We look at the price of the car IT'S $22,000 WHICH AGAIN. IS MORE THAN TWICE WHAT I SAID I COULD AFFORD. He tried to push us to do it anyways. THEN told us I would have to be the MAIN person on the loan, not the co signer. And my spouse said absolutely not. This is their car. This is for them. No I'm not putting another car IN MY NAME. Why are we even talking? Why did you say, they needed a cosigner when they wouldn't be approved ANYWAYS? I got mad about all that, then said I want to know about the others cars we talked about on the phone. And he told us. There were no other cars. And I said. Yes there are. I was looking at them yesterday, and with the guy on the phone. Then I pulled it up on my phone, went through loads of cars in my budget. Then he said the bank wouldn't do any car above 80,000 miles, and older than 2010. Which is a lie. Because a month ago. I bought a used car for $5,000, 130,000 miles, from 2005. Financed THROUGH the same bank. Without an issue. He also told us that our credit check would work for 30 days. And that we could do it through any Young dealership. And they can pull cars from any Young dealership. Then I said I'd go look at the cars in my budget in Ogden. And he told us they would have to run my credit AGAIN out there. So all in all. I've wasted around 6 hours of my VERY limited time, on trying to buy a car. With people who are dishonest. Don't listen to my requirements or budget. Or even my requests. I will never come back. Don't buy a car here. If I was young and naive, we would have been taken advantage of. And gotten stuck with a car in my name, and a payment I couldn't afford.

This is why I don’t like car dealers: I understand they go back and forth on price, and they are their to make money, but when I have financing already set up and they say we will save you more money if they can finance me, then do what you say. They had my credit pulled two more times and didn’t save a penny. The price we negotiated was the same after credit was pulled. If you get a kickback for using a local Credit Union, then honor your word and take a little off my bottom line. Yes it was choice to buy somewhere else after this happened, it after spending hours, I just wanted my truck. Love the truck hate the lying

Pulled up with just a 15 minute notice by phone and they had the truck ready for me. Smooth negotiations and I left just a couple hours after pulling up with a fresh ride and a smile. Our experience with Young Chevy was horrible. In the beginning while my husband was shopping they had agreed to us purchasing a new truck. I had given them a post dated check.The manager called me priar to the deposit date saying they needed to deposit it immediately. We agreed to them depositing. The truck also needed new tires they had agreed to change them out before the scheduled pick up. In the end they only changed out two tires and they were used tires. When I confronted the sales rep he started changing his agreement and saying he did not agree to anything like that. I became angry and asked him to keep his word and be honest, holding up to his end of the bargain. They never followed through with replacing the tires. We had given the sales rep referrals. After our experience I called my family and friends that I had referred and explained our horrible experience and told them about how our rep was dishonest.

Roger Young with Young Chevrolet called me after having purchased a new truck with cash approximately one month earlier asking for an additional $600 because of an accounting mistake. If you do business with Young, double check their numbers.. They seem to struggle with basic accounting.

Very high pressure to buy but not really willing to work with you. The truck I bought had a cracked windshield that the manager said they would fix, now it’s been a year and a half and they still haven’t fixed it and are now telling me they won’t fix it cause it’s not in the paperwork. Service department made me wait a week before they would look at my trucks brakes that just went out one weekend even though apparently it’s a pretty common problem in my trucks year. Front counter employees are nice but I haven’t enjoyed working with the company at all.

Went here to get the transmission looked at because it was leaking they discovered that it might have been something that they did to cause the problem and immediately fixed it and did a great job of in forming me and helping me understand what was going on and what was needed I didn’t have to pay for anything out of pocket Blake is very professional and knows what he’s doing. Their master Machanic was very smart and was able to find the problem very quickly and knew exactly what he needed to do. Thanks fellas you guys are awesome!!!

It was ok. Liked DJ although he over promised that they could have certain accessories placed on our car that day even thought they couldn’t. Kind of a hassle because we drove 3.5 hours to come to your dealership. Also the accessories we wanted to purchase were on sale 20% off but no one would honor the price. We even asked if they could just credit us somewhere else the $350 difference and they wouldn’t. Kind of disappointing since we just dropped 50k on a brand new car.

I got a new car from this dealership, and the experience I had from when I got there to when I left was amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Kimberly Ross! She is very patient with her customers, she was able to deal with me being very picky and indecisive and helped narrow my options down! She is super nice and is very easy to talk! The day I picked out the car I was able to take it home the same exact day which was fast service! Kimberly wants what’s best for her customers and makes sure they are 100% satisfied From when you get to the dealership to the time you leave! They refused to answer any phone calls for financing. I came into the dealship to get information for my gap insurance (my car was totaled) spent 20 minutes waiting for the info and found out that I needed more info when I contacted the gap insurance agent. When going back the second time I again spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to get my 2 pieces of paper. Afterward they wanted to sell me a new car even though the car that I had bought from them had a recall for airbags and in the accident at 40 mph they did not deploy. I would not recommend shopping here for a car terrible customer service and alot of spam emails.

Initially good, then they pulled some unethical behavior and totally lost my trust. I spent $100k on a corvette and during the process they asked if I had any friends or family interested in a free oil change as a result of me purchasing a vehicle from them. I was told a simple text would be sent to my contacts giving them an oil change an introducing them as a dealer to consider for future purchases. The free oil change turned into a sales call and *$20 off* of their overpriced oil changes, instead of the free oil change for the contacts I had trusted them with. It was a bait and switch, and I was lied to, and it made me look like a liar to my friends and family. I will never buy a vehicle from this dealer again.

A few months ago I brought my truck in for an oil change. Excellent service! That experience is why I brought my wife’s 2014 (80K miles) Chevy Traverse in for a time up. Her car would struggle at times going up a hill and give a minute kick as if something was up with the transmission or spark plugs. Asked them to look into and said it would cost $250. $1,500 later it was “supposed” to be fixed. The next day our engine light came on and brought back for them to address. Said our catalytic converter was bad and would cost another $900. A week later car went inoperable. Had them fix it (needed towed there) and cost altogether $4K! Car still jerks while driving…TERRIBLE

Had to repeatedly reach out to Young to generate follow up on the clear bra I was forced to purchase at the time of sale ($695). Several months later (8) after several emails and phone calls trying to set up an appointment for the bra it was finally scheduled. During this appointment the bra was only placed on my hood not the entire front of the truck (as promised) there was oil spilled down the side of the driver side hood and grease on the hood from hand prints when I picked the truck up after hours. The bra only covers an 8 inch strip on the hood was not what was promised during the purchase. Young has horrible customer service, you simply get transferred to a message box from one unfriendly employee to another with no real follow up... BEWARE Young has only one goal, sell vehicles and forget about you.... Also truck had electrical problems 15 days after purchase and Young was unwilling to make this right. Paperwork was inaccurate was charged wheel liners for a truck that already had wheel liners. Worst car buying experience in a long time and I have purchased a lot of vehicles!!!!! DO NOT BUY from Young

Finally get a person and....... told I have to come to the dealership. (I only need a copy of some insurance paperwork that I bought from ....... THEM). Fantastic Experience at Young Chevrolet Moses my salesperson was on it. He’s young but extremely knowledgeable and ambitious. I was a challenge because I was from Las Vegas. All the necessary information on the vehicle, the financing and the many questions I had were answered quickly and in detail. He even when the extra 220 miles (picked me up at a Salt Lake airport and brought me to the dealers to sign the papers. The trip to the dealership was my test drive. I couldn’t be happier. Went in to buy a used car and ended up leaving with the first brand new car I’ve ever gotten! I love it, and Stewart was awesome! We didn’t quite get to where we wanted to be on monthly payments, but they sure tried and got us pretty dang close! Super easy, and completely painless! I'm not sure where to start because we are so happy with our recent purchase! We had looked across the state for a truck to haul our trailer. We almost purchased a truck at LHM dealership and I am SO grateful it didn't work out. We found a great truck here at Young, but it had sold and we were super disappointed. The salesman, Eric, took the time to find out what we loved and needed in a truck. He told us that he'd try to find one. We were not expecting much because we had already scouted out nearly every dealership in the state and in Idaho. He called us an hour later and found one out-of-state that was P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Eric and the team went above and beyond in order to get the truck here in time for our trip. They literally saved our trip! We LOVE our new truck and it has everything we were looking for. The customer service here was exceptional! Once we purchased, the floor manager came out to show us the all features, set up OnStar, and make sure we didn't have any questions. I am still blown away at the customer service and going way beyond our expectations. I also loved that they weren't smarmy or pushy when we asked for no extra frills. Failure after failure. Promises of being in contact when necessary parts arrive are not fulfilled on multiple different occasions stemming from different issues. Parts that were ordered had sat and then were given to other people because nobody let us know the part had arrived. Causing a trip to the dealership for a part that was not there and now they needed to be reordered. Car initially had a front camera issue when brand new,. Making all the driver assist features not function, salesman (tanner) promised me a new camera would be ordered and that I would be notified when it arrived, never heard anything, took the car in for an oil change and asked if the camera could be done at the same time only to find the camera had been shipped back as it had been sitting forever. Camera was reordered, waited again only to find that when was time to do the repair, it was simply a plug that wasn't connected properly and the camera was fine. Pretty easy for them to sell a car, pretty hard for them to care afterwards. Had it in FIVE times for another issue, the last time just yesterday. Having to drop the car off 5 times for the same problem is wildly inconvenient, One time they booked an appointment and didn't get to the problem at all, next they disassembled the door but didn't fix it, next they had the wrong part ordered, next the window regulator was swapped but it failed fix the squeaking, finally some grease was applied to a part the repair was completed, unfortunately some trim parts got damaged in the repair and had to be reordered so I had to go back in for some trim parts to be replaced. No judgment on that last one, accidents happen. The rest of it got a bit old. The only saving grace is the recent edition of Mackenzie who does seem to follow through and even actually care. So hats off to her

Advertised price was not honored. In fact, the price was raised not only once but twice on me. $46,000 was the advertised price which did not show at all a $1500.00 incentive being taken off already. I thought the price was going to be $44,500.00. The salesman admitted that the advertising was wrong so long story short, the $46,000 already included the $1,500 incentive taken off the original price of $47,500, I accepted the explanation of the advertising. Then, Young Chevrolet would not honor the incentive price of $46,000 because I called a salesman who I knew and had him take it to the Chevrolet dealer from the Jeep dealer both owned by Young Automotive. All stipulations were being met by me. Guess I thought Young Automotive Group were owned by the same company and they should honor their advertised deals. Silly me for trying to do right by the salesman who I have been working with to make sure he got the commission he deserved. If this was a factory incentive for the Jeep dealer only, they could have offered to take the auto back to the Young Automotive Jeep dealer where I found it, not the salesman, and have me work with a salesman there to honor their price but nope, they didn't. Then I was told there was a shop fee that they forgot to add on. Not my problem, I didn't advertise the car, you did! Then was given a final price with a couple of accessories added on that I did not ask for that were not included in the advertised price which added another $998.00 to the total. I was told they could give me $400 off the price of $47,500 for a purchase price of $47,100 then they added on the $998.00 in accessories along with tax, government fees, and dealer fees which I know always gets charged. So, $47,100 was the price of the auto then they added $998.00 in unadvertised accessories and unadvertised in price that I didn't ask for that they already installed on the auto. So, total price of the auto was then $48,098.00 when the auto was advertised for $46,000.00 and I originally thought the price was going to be $44,500 after incentive. That's almost a $4,000 price swing. My total adding up to over $52,000 after everything being added. My salesman did everything I asked him to do. He was great!! Not sure why the person he had to go talk to kept raising the price on me but that is definitely why this customer decided to leave. This was me giving Young Automotive Group a second try. Done! Larry H Miller treated me very well when I test drove a couple of their autos. Guess I should have stuck with what my gut was telling me. On a side note, the Young Collision Center does a fantastic job and Paul is wonderful to work with!!

The people here truly care about their customers and strive to keep them happy and loyal. Scott and Jake took very good care of us and did not want us leaving until we were happy and satisfied. They both took the time to ensure everyone was satisfied. They were not pushy like most other dealers are. Servicing of my vehicle at Young Chevrolet has always gone very well. I can indeed say that for the many years I have had service on my vehicles performed here; it has always been a very honest dealership unlike what some stereotypes may say overall. The service writer and especially the service manager treat my vehicle and myself like I'm their most important customer, although I realize they need to make all of their other customers feel the same way. This is definitely a service department I would recommend to anyone (including family and friends) to get their vehicle serviced in an honest manner and one I can trust.

I bought a car from young Chevrolet in Layton. I will never go back there. Yes the guy I talked to at first was very nice tried to help me out. But the service department is not good. My car broke down a couple weeks after I bought it. They had it for over a month. Needed my transmission fixed. Well I had it back for about a month the transmission went out again. This time I had it towed to a different place to get it fixed. I paid money to get it done right the first time. Now need to pay out more to get ut fixed.

I went in and dealt with one of The sales associates, Brighton. He was straight forward and in hindsight, I wish I could of just dealt with him. I was looking at one of their 2020 Chevy LT trucks. The truck was overpriced and after I said so I was assured they would “work on the price”. After a test drive and two days of negotiations on my trade, we found common ground on a price. The following day the deal was nothing close to anything anyone would call a deal.. Their fees were 8000 dollars!! I was about to pay them 1000 to take my trade and buy theirs at full price. That’s not a deal. Where I’m from, thats theft. Go somewhere else.

Hands down the WORST experience I have ever had. I went in preapproved through my credit union and spent hours there while they tried to force me to finance through them. I have no vehicle, I had to find someone who could take time to drive me to this dealership, I had to drive hours to get there, and take off work for the day. I refused to finance with them and pay an extra $200 a month, so I ended up leaving 4 hours later with no car. Do not waste your time here!!

I was in rush hour traffic passing through town when my engine light came on. It was wonderful to be greeted with a smile by MacKenzie. It was almost closing time but she quickly found someone to help. She patiently answered all my questions and even filled up my washer fluid. I was very impressed and thankful for her service. Unfortunately, after paying $180 to reset the computer, the engine light again came on again as soon as I got to Price. Since I’m traveling and unable to return, I feel like I just threw money out the window.

I have been in recently for two separate issues. The first time was a sqeak in my rear wheel. Not only was the issue not fixed, they made the problem worse. I brought the car in on 4 separate occasions, and finally got tired of trying and still have the issue. The second visit was for our AC. A diagnostic was run and resulted in replacing the evaporator ($1500). The NEXT DAY, we noticed a pool of fluid coming from under our car. We also noticed that not only was the AC still not working correctly, but now we also had a new hissing sound coming from our AC vents. I brought the car back in to get checked, only to tell us that somehow the car had miraculously broken another part in the AC system and needed to be repaired for an additional $800. I told them just to let me take my car. This place used to be good. I used to bring my car in for any and all vehicle issues. I won't be coming back.

I went to Young Chevrolet in Layton looking for a new vehicle to replace my suburban that died for the final time. I had already been looking at several different makes and models of vehicles and had narrowed it down to 10 different cars I was interested in. I was leaning towards a couple different Chevy’s and so we started here. After driving a couple different cars and looking at others we narrowed down our search and I found my new car! Our salesman, Trevor Nakae, was helpful and friendly and was willing to take his time helping us decide. I wanted to give a higher rating but this doesn’t allow for 4 3/4 stars. The reason for this rating is because I had to wait to take it home due the car not being ready to drive off the lot that day. For that it got dinged.

I give this place a 50% the collision center does an amazing job they get the 50% part. 0% goes to the dealership. I got a call from them about a car I was selling, they promised a fair pay off for my car, so I go there thinking they will beat there old offer of $6000 since they claimed "they needed cars". I get there and the used car manager comes out and offered me at most $3000. Dont do business with this dealership. If you do I suggest only deal with the collision center.

Always a Great experience. The sales manager, Josh, is especially amazing. He can tell/show you the details about any/every car you get in or ask about. He's extremely personable and has never made us feel pressured. No "What do I need to do, to get you to buy a car today?". I bought a car from here and my check engine light turned on a week after I bought it. Mackenzie told me they couldn’t fix my car (even tho she could which i didn’t find out till 6 month later) Mackenzie was rude and i’m professional throughout this whole process of me trying to fix my car basically blaming me for the repairs needed for my car. Long story short I was told a price to fix my car from a manager & they people at service overcharged me and were rude. Definitely don’t suggest buying from here and I definitely DO NOT suggest getting your car fixed here.

Quick, honest, and easy car buying experience! I’ve know the guys at young Chevrolet for a couple of years now and won’t think twice before going to them for all of my car buying needs. Keaton Clark was my sales rep and was very friendly, professional, and courteous throughout the entire purchasing process. I also got to interact with a couple of other sales guys who were very welcoming and friendly. Not once did I feel pressured or inclined to make any decisions that I wasn’t comfortable with and their detailed work carried from start to finish. I’m very happy with my experience and purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone in the future!

After we bought a car I had some concerns. I called back and talked to a sales manager and explained my concerns. He said he would tell Tanner (salesman) and Josh (sales manager) who helped me to call me back. I didn't get a call back at first. Tanner called me yesterday because he saw my review and ask what he could do to help. I told him and he went the extra mile to address and correct the issue. 5-stars for Tanner. Young Chevrolet needs more like him and needs to follow his example! This review only gets 4-stars because of the dealerships lack of communication to Tanner but Tanner earned my respect. I would buy from Tanner again no matter what dealership he worked for. Thanks for the follow up! I have to update this review as I never got the promised credit. So they had me sign a waiver removing the service so I could get the credit then, no credit. I have told several people at the dealership about this and still no help. I had said 5-star for Tanner but the follow through was not good, very disappointed.

From the time we walked into the dealership to look at the 2021 Tahoe to the time we walked out with the keys to take it home was a great experience. Both Chase and Eric answered our questions with complete knowledge and had all of our pricing and paperwork done quickly so we were not there all evening. When we went in to sign the papers with the finance department (I apologize I forgot his name) he covered everything we were signing but didn't keep us there long so we could take our new car home. I was asked for references when I wanted to buy a car here. Also my trade-in was reportedly stolen after trading it in. They proceeded to question me about the buying interview and trade-in which I had to repeat word for word. I felt as if I was not being treated as a trustworthy responsible person. i would not recommend this dealership. Their competition in Riverdale does a much better job in trusting customers and treating them with respect.

JACKSON picked my brain as to the kind of truck i was searching for as well as the price i wouldn't exceed, with low milage, a Denali package, basically my retirement truck, and the monthly price I'll be able to afford once i retire. My experience has been amazing. I have worked with sales, technicians, and financing. My journey started with Brian pit manager advising me that my old car would cost more than it was worth to fix. I pretty much knew that but hey we got to try right. He sent me to Ed who got me with salesman Tyler White. Then Chase, Ed, and Tyler found the perfect car for me and worked hard to make sure I got the best deal. Everyone was so helpful. The salesman was really good! It was a nightmare however dealing with the financial department. I was already pre-approved but for some reason they wanted me to go through them and it was very difficult, on top of that they called me four days later and said my rates and payments had changed. It was only a percent or two and a couple bucks however it was very frustrating

Kim was so friendly and positive to work with. Ryan found out what we needed and matched a vehicle to us immediately. He was so great and worked hard to get us in a vehicle that we are looking forward to owning for quite a while. The whole experience was painless, and relatively quick (2 hours). I just bought a brand new vehicle last month, and I was very apprehensive because I'd never bought a brand new car before and definitely not from a dealership. But my salesman helped me feel at ease about the purchase and transition from old to new vehicle. I also had brought in my old vehicle a few times to the service shop and they were helpful and efficient with all the work I needed done. I definitely plan to go to them again.

The parts department is easy to talk to and eager to help you find the right parts, and accessories for your truck. Labor has gone up so when it comes to accessories you may want to install them yourself.
