This bank profiles anybody that walks in. If you have a check to cash and you dont have a account open through them, if you dont look like you own a fancy bmw and wear some nice clothes theyll refuse to cash a check for you. Going to be posting a video on youtube of them profiling multiple people and refusing to cash checks. Very lazy and rude staff, will be spreading the word!

I have been a member for 20 years and they have made banking easy! I have had three car loans and one VA loan and I have been very satisfied with them. When one of those giant banks makes me an offer for a credit card I simply tell them "no thanks, you can't beat my Credit Union". And that is true and they know it! I recommend this place for your loans and banking, they really do make car buying simple and easy.

Great for most people. Avoid if you live off tips. I deliver pizza, and last few times I went up there I've been getting weird looks for always making cash deposits (Sometimes my check as well) and even have overheard a teller asking a co-worker as I left what to do if they think they just handled drug money. This is also the only location that has asked me for a photo ID to make a cash deposit (After providing the WP account card with the account # on it) when I didn't want a receipt. That being said, Wright Patt is a great credit union. The staff here just isn't the brightest.

Love WPCU, very nice people in general. There are long lines, but the fault in that is the fact there are many business transactions going on at the teller window when they should be signing in and waiting on an office person. New accounts, CD's, special transactions that aren't able to be completed in 5 minutes should be signed in and not taken at the counter. It would also be nice if there was a speed line for those who simply want to cash a check or make a deposit. Overall, very happy with WPCU!

While I have not had an issue with WPCU, I have had issues with their mortgage originator, Tina Gibbs. She took days to respond to our original request to get in contact with her (how hard is it to make a phone call?) We finally got to schedule an appointment, but I realized later I made an mistake in reading my schedule and needed to pick another meeting time. I left several voicemails (she never once answered her phone) and she never called us back until we went back to Wright-Patt and had to ask the teller for help in dealing with her. We finally scheduled another meeting, and she was very rude and condescending to speak to. We are first time home buyers and not at all familiar with how to get approved for a mortgage. I would not recommend working with Tina if you have any other options. It has not been a pleasant experience.

Out of the 3 credit unions that I deal with regularly, Wright Patt credit union is by far the worst. Especially throughout Covid-19. And as things start to open up again they decide to close early and not let you take out more than 2,000 dollars each day. This is out of my bank account with my money in it. Other banks have had restrictions on things but Wright Patt credit Union is the strictest and have made life for probably many harder to deal with day to day. I wouldn’t even try getting a loan through them. If you think you’re getting a good deal through them you might want Check with another place. You obviously haven’t because they’re the worst at loans or if not the worst really really bad. Like Day Air credit Union or KH credit union. I have been a member there for 12 years and when it came time to get a loan I figured with my decent credit score and being a member for so long they would take care of me. I was wrong. They counter offered for less money than I needed and offered a 16.4% interest rate. I checked somewhere else and they gave me the full amount that I needed at a 4.1% interest-rate. Ridiculous. Nice staff for the most part but try and do anything more than have them hold your money to pay bills with would be a mistake.

I have been a personal account member for over 10 years with no problems BUT starting in July 2019 when I took on a part time charity collection route which requires depositing a high volume of coins twice a month into a business account. I chose my closet member center at Cross Point. Each time I went into Cross Point branch with my bags of coins to deposit there was always a problem. The manager makes every excuse to turn away high volume deposits. "We cant take any more coins." "Our vault is full" "it is the 3rd of the month", "we are out of bags" "bags are back ordered". One time an assistant manager threatened to unplug the machine to stop me. There is one employee, Garrett, that was very helpful, professional, positive & informative and easy to speak to. I have taken my business to 3 other centers at Kingsridge, Dr., Kettering & Fairborn. These 3 other locations are welcoming, helpful they do their job & go above and beyond. But the manager at cross point has made me feel unwelcome & uncomfortable for the last time. I will NEVER go back there. I would rather drive 20 minutes and be treated with respect. Thank you. Garrett, if you are reading this, I always appreciated your help. You are one in a million.

HORRIBLE BANKING SYSTEM AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had to make a call while at the counter to confirm my account and was literally YELLED at like a 5 year old kid playing with matches. I was so embarrassed and the people standing behind me had to tell the teller "Maam, please do not talk to that gentleman that way." The teller went to get the manager who was HORRIBLE and then LIED right to our face. I am pulling all accounts from WPCU and will never recommend anyone. This place is a complete clown show, CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!!

Highly recommend the coffee, best coffee around!
