Was highly recommended by a jewelry store in Carteret County as "the place to get top dollar for diamond rings". So my husband and I drove all the way there to be "greeted" with noses stuck in the air. Clerk took it to another "uppity" and came back out to say they didn't want to by the stone but could do $50 for the gold...yes it is 20 years old BUT a almost 1 carat REAL DIAMOND in 14k gold...WOW, what a waste

So happy with my experience here! I bought my violin on Christmas Eve and I'm so happy with my purchase. Megan helped me; she was so thoughtful, graceful, and gentle with my violin. She took extra care of the instrument as she was handling it. She was really friendly and professional. The pricing was really fair and the staff was friendly throughout the whole process. The very next business day, I came back in because I couldn't figure out how to tighten my strings (it has been a while since I've played, lol) and a woman (I wish I got her name) helped me so quickly. She knew my instrument so well and helped me understand the process even better. She explained how to fix it in the future. She was super kind and helped me fix my violin in about two seconds. Overall, very happy! I will definitely return if I need repairs in the future, or if I need to look for violin accessories. They seemed to have a lot of inventory. :)

I don't do reviews, but this I just had to share. My mother, my boyfriend and I ​went in to look around to pass some time. We walked in and was greeted by a gentleman in a maroon dress shirt, black pants, glasses, bald, and a gun on his hip, we did not get his name so I can only describe him. As we walk around to view items he keeps following us around, I've worked retail and helped asset protection many times I know what the signs are and how to watch people. This gentleman for some reason decided we were up to no good it seems. As my boyfriend is gawking at the instrument's cause he is a band nerd, my mother and I go to the jewelry section and the gentleman follows us. I finally get tired of it and feeling like we aren't welcomed I tell my mother it's time to leave, and let my boyfriend know we are leaving. At this time my mother says it's because he is watching us, I inform her that is true and it is annoying as we are just browsing we didn't even didnt ask to look at anything out the glass cases. He makes his goodbye by telling us thank you, I did get irritated and say back to him it's not fucking cool to be watching us for no reason. Teach your workers/asset protection to better understand people. It isn't that hard, we didn't have any bags, purses, or bookbags. Hell my mother and I wear women's jeans with NO POCKET ROOM.

I can not say enough great things about Woodson's and the owners there. I have been to the shop many times, and will go again. Everything I have purchased has been perfect. We have purchased jewelry there, and have had jewelry designed. They do a fantastic job. Susan, the jeweler, has been especially helpful and trustworthy. She always knows how to help me pick out something that is just right. I have also purchased a keyboard there, which I am still learning to play. Everything in the shop is displayed very neatly. I wish my home was just as neat. Most of all, the owners are down-to-earth, courteous, honest, and fair... Going in the store is always a very pleasant experience.

I have been dealing with Woodsons pawn for many years. They are very honest and trustworthy willing to work with their customers any way they can. I would not trust my valuables with any one else. They always talk with me when I come in and we talked about many issues in life in general! Would definitely recommend them to anyone. They follow all guidelines within the laws.

This is a great pawn shop in this area. I've been coming here off and on for years. Don't have a problem with refunds just as long as you have your receipt, they have a lot of great stuff you guys need to check them out👍💯

If I could rate a zero I would. The gemologist there is rude as hell. I will be doing my business elsewhere. She isn't pleasant at all.

This is the best and friendliest pawn shop in north carolina! I have been driving 80 miles to shop there since 1994. One of our best persons to deal with was Jeff.

I purchased a watch that has a flex band, because my wrists are so small. Fortunately you can remove links in a flex band so make it smaller, but normally you need special tools. I took it to Woodson's Music and Pawn and Anthony took out the links within a matter of minutes and it fit perfectly! The price for the service was very cheap, but his work and attitude were top notch. If you need jewelry repaired, I highly recommend Anthony!

I have been going to woodson pawn for a very long time. They are the best. All the staff are very friendly. If you are having a hard time they work with you so you don't lose your stuff. I wish I could give more stars but it won't let me. I always tell people I know to go there. Y'all are the best and I'm a customer for life lol. Bless all of you.
