Woodforest National Bank Uptown Blvd, Cedar Hill

Having banked at several branches around the state, I can whole heartedly say that this Cedar Hill Location is not representative of the organization as a whole. In fact most locations I've gone to has such stellar service that it just highlights how bad service in Cedar Hill is, and it's a top down issue. There are only two people employed at this location that seem interested in client experience. It's the only location where the phone will NEVER be answered. Unfortunately for me it's the only reasonable location in proximity to me. I may go through the headache of having to change all my subscriptions, memberships, payment processors etc to a new bank.

Worst possible business excuse for a financial institution. Closed my account in person, told clerk the balance he reported was too low. He would not research it. Had to call home office, they agreed with my figure, told Cedar Hill branch tp send me check for the remaining amount. Over a month now, lots of excuses, two “checks in the mail” still no check. Next step for me is the Texas Department of Banking.

Went into the bank on Sep 21st to deposit a check to my account not only did I not get greeted but waited over 20 mins in line mind looking at 3 tellers who didn’t ask me anything not once and I was the only person in line the customer service was beyond horrible and it been for the last 2 times I been here the tellers that are more professional which was Ms Buster that I love I wish I knew the days she worked so I wouldn’t have to endure those rude people anymore #WoodForest Bank Cedarhill # Disappointed customer

The Tellers are amazing but the bank itself isnt that great..ive had to buy four cards in the past 6months because either the machines are down or the suspended my card(without telling me) because of a certain purchase!!! And everytime i threaten to leave this bank they always come up with an excuse on why i cant leave..and why i cant get all my money out of my account!! Its only convient because i get my money on fridays instead of that monday or something...But the tellers are amazing

I worked with Jason at the cedar hill location. I went to open an business account and discovered latEr this this guy tried to open a loan in my name I've knew nothing about I am so pissed Because it hit my credit I need to go to ccooperate and report him. affraid to leave my money in the account. And what's crazy is that he's the manager over that store

The customer may be wonderful at this bank but the service is awful. 6 months ago I deposited a 3,000 chase check into my acct and it took over 2 weeks for it to clear. 2 weeks ago I applied for a 1,500 loan and was approved instantly and the funds are still not available. I'm not sure why this business functions like this but it's awful business. I will be closing this account. The only perk is it's open on Sundays.

Went to wood forest today to pick up a western union transfer that my brother from Germany send me as a late birthday present. Was never treated so bad from the bank clerk named Tanesha. Had an attitude from the minute she heard my accent and told me she couldn’t give me the transfer since I didn’t know the correct amount ( my brother send the money in Euros and I didn’t have the complete exact amount in US dollars) but I did have the transfer number. Luckily one of her coworkers came and took over in a very professional manner and everything was good. If you deal with customers you need to learn to leave your dislike against certain ethnicity at home. I saw her helping a different customer from a different ethnicity before and she was as sweet as can be.

Wonderful cust service. No long waits & most of the time there is only 2 tellers. I've been to another branch, they'll have 3 to 4 tellers & I have to wait a long time. I don't mind driving 10 miles to get good cust service. I like when they put a hold on my card when they've received notice of possible vendor compromise. My only negative thought is they should call when that occurs instead of letting me get embarrassed when the card is declined.

They claim they changed their hours even though it’s not advertised anywhere and they still had workers there 2 hours after their hours changed. Horrible customer service (9/2).

Because of COVID the Cedar Hill, TX location only had one person actively helping customers. I was asked by Management to try a different location
