Wings Financial Credit Union Baltimore St, Blaine

My wife and I are life long members of a small credit union that was just too far for us to drive so we looked for one closer to home. I checked financials and learned that Wings is best at handling money so we decided to become members. After a slow start, walk-in greeting and reception is non-existent, we were finally recognized by staff and brought in to fill out the paper work. Later, while home, we had some questions and tried to call. . . a phone center - anyway, keyed the extension and got a ring and a beep, hungup and tried again - a ring and a beep - no voice mail greeting, just a beep. How can we know who we're even leaving a voice mail for? The third time I left a voice mail after the beep and got a call back two days later. Next time for questions, I sent an email. . . I sent a resend, finally getting a response. And now recently, I sent an email request on Thursday, it's now Tuesday. . . no response. In conclusion - 1) train staff to acknowledge people who are standing by the door looking lost. 2) add a personal greeting to individual voice mail. 3) respond to email within 24-hours. From a financials postion, Wings is a great CU but from a customer service perspective improvement is greatly needed.

Opened a savings here as I was recommended Wings for a credit union. The pregnant woman that helped me barely talked to me throughout the process, didn't tell me all of my options or ask any questions. She went ahead and just opened a savings account, I'm not even sure I had options or not in the matter, but if I did she chose for me without engaging. Also wrote down all my login info for the online banking, without explaining that, or if I could change the username she gave me. Thankfully I don't live in this area so I will most likely go to one closer to my home to talk to a banker that can have a conversation. If its the same experience, I'll be moving all my funds to a different institution.

They have never charged me fees, and they have always been good to work with. I transferred to Wings because I began questioning the ethics of most financial institutions. From what I researched, I feel good about supporting Wings. They seem like a much more ethical option for my banking needs.

Not a welcoming atmosphere during the weekends, especially by that one blonde haired elderly lady teller that wears glasses. I would strongly recommend avoid coming here on Saturday's. During the work week, It's satisfactory. I have no issue with other Wings staff. I'm just not really sure why some people would want to have an attitude and ruin your mood when you haven't even done anything to them.

Awful. Waa going to sign up but they want to run a hard credit report inquire on you. What bank/ credit union does that ? I'm not going to lose points and have a hard hit on my report to have an account with you. Get out of here. This place is a huge joke. Telling everyone I know about this joke of a credit union.

All the tellers are very friendly been banking here since it was city county credit union really like Blaine location and staff

I like Wings, but I wish they gave us an actual phone number for the location, so I wouldn't have to talk to a robot. I want to call the Blaine location directly, yet they seem insistent on making that as difficult as possible.

I have had an account with Wings for ever, I actually started with City County Credit Union and then they become Wings. Never had any issues with them until I needed to get a small personal loan of $5,000 to cover the cost of my Pop's Funeral services and experiences I was turned down flat. They told me NO, they couldn't borrow me the money, even though I have direct deposit of $1100 - $1400 ever two weeks for over the last 10 + years, and I had almost $4,200 in my savings account at the time. I even told the loan officer that I needed the money for my Pop's Funeral and they could take $500 out of my direct deposit ever two weeks and I would have them paid off in 60-90 days after I got the insurance check for his life insurance policy. Because I don't owe anyone anything and pay for everything in cash my credit wasn't good enough for them to borrow me $5,000 to give my Pop's a proper Funeral. I don't trust anyone who is this cold-hearted. Mason jars and a shovel is what I recommend!!

I first heard about wings when they financed my atv. Now they financed me again for a new side by side. Sierrah at the Blaine location was amazing to work with. She helped me out to make sure everything went great and smooth. I highly recommend sierrah at wings financial!!!!!

Easy to work with and super helpful. Dawn is awesome and helped walk me through any extra questions I had. Highly recommend!
