It was tens of thousands of dollars. All because they did not make the effort. Use a different title agency, most homes are fine but if it is not, this company will not protect you. Avoid !

My wife and I used WFG recently to close on our third house. Our last home purchase was more than 10 yrs ago, thus making us essentially "new homebuyers". As a feedback, we would have appreciated a little more handholding in the escrow process. Specifically, we lived about 4 hours away from Vancouver WA. All things considered, it would had been a better experience had WFG reminded us to wire the closing dues ASAP after the bank finalized the loan disclosure, and if WFG would inform us early on the plan for escrow closing (e.g. both of us needed to be physically present on site, vs. signing closing documents sent via FedEx). In both case, my wife and I had to specifically request those information, something that a new homebuyer would not have known ahead of time. In summary, a little more hand-holding and keeping them informed go a long way for already nervous homebuyers.
