Western Title & Escrow Company Sw 5th St, Redmond

I used to get clean files and exceptional service when using Western Title in Redmond. Last file was a nightmare. Took too long and multiple mistakes that required document to be re-signed 3 times. When I expressed dissatisfaction I was told that I was just 1 of 150 files open. I requested a call from someone above the Escrow Team to review the information I was Provided. I never received any communication. Basically, they didn’t care. I still believe Bend and Sisters offices are the Best around. But the Redmond team has lost it.

Had some interaction for our business with them. Covid business practices are not up to par. Also not responsive to questions or abrupt. Dealt with a Carlene who didn’t seem to want to be bothered and came off self centered. Spend your time and money elsewhere where they value you.

Really terrible experience for myself, the sellers, and the realtor. Would not recommend Reasons: *Treated with little respect or graciousness *Making the seller do most of the leg work to finalize things *Making the seller find out the person on our "third party" well, which should have not have been a third party in the first place but Western Title apparently added the person a year and a half ago. *Double charging the taxes, which made us owe at closing so we immediately sent a wire transfer so we could close and record the next day as told and when asked about wire transfer the next day, the response was "OH, you sent that already?!" I'm pretty sure you should know what money is being wire transferred in, as I was told to have a memo on it. *Disclosure documents were not signed within 3 days, we were unaware of time frame, this was scheduled for us. We had to come in and re sign, and was given attitude about trying to schedule time to get to the office *Recording of the property might not actually be correct, have to follow up with the county clerk myself to ensure it was done correctly due to the fact that the notary did not sign the paperwork that was filed. I received a call last week from the office asking if I saw the papers, I said no, and they said "we will figure something else out, we hoped you would have the papers that you were given" Which I was given the disclosure documents that were returned the next morning, not anything to do with recording paperwork, but it's easier to blame the customer than staff. *The said letter was sent to the seller's P.O. Box, not ours. Which had personal and confidential information on it, which I believe is illegal. Sent this off to the president as well. Doubt I will hear a response, but all you people out there, you've been warned.
