Charges , fees, not what I signed up for at wdmcu at all. There more bad than good.

I was the finance manager at a local RV dealership and kept seeing checks from WMCU from customers so decided to check them out for myself. I joined WMCU about 5 years ago and it was a great decision. Staff is super friendly. Interest rate on loans are extremely competitive and Jennifer is a pleasure to work with. She helped my son get his first car loan last summer and she made it simple and easy for him. Their app is very easy to use also. I highly recommend West Michigan Credit Union.

**Update to the below review - Although it's a convoluted process, they do have a way to do automatic payments online through a 3rd party provider so I was able to get that figured out. The CSR I talked to on the phone should be made aware of this as she told me they did not have this capability. Still not ideal because it's a separate login from my bank account, but better than nothing. They were kind enough to reach out to help me resolve the issue :) I'm not sure what kind of low budget institution this is but I can't even pay my loan through their online banking. I've never worked with a bank that doesn't have this kind of basic functionality on their website within the past 10 years. Very disappointed.

My family and I have been with WMCU since 1984 and I have enjoyed being a part of this team since day one. Very understanding to any situations that may occur in your life. Always give the best advice when needed. This is the first and last credit union for me. Thank you for all these years of good service.

One of the worst financial institutions I've ever dealt with. Everything is made more difficult than it needs to be. I'm glad to not have to deal with them anymore

I recently paid my truck off that was on automatic withdrawal. I just checked my online banking to see they did not shut off my auto withdrawal. West mi credit union says they cannot put my money back in my account. However they can put the money in my account at the credit union. That's doesn't work for me. Their mistake not mine. Simply put my money back in my bank account!

I have been a member for almost 6 years now. The staff is super friendly and I have not had any problems. The other day I had the pleasure of being helped by Jennifer with a loan. She was super nice and informative. Had answers for all of my questions and was super quick to reply through emails. The loan process was the easiest adult thing I’ve ever done! Haha. Thank you for the amazing service Jennifer.

I'm just shocked on how rude these people who work here are. Specifically the front desk & Susan Russau. I went in on a Monday and needed help to finish my loan application and I was treated so rudely and talked down to like I didn't know what I was speaking about. They had no idea what I needed even after explaining to them what I needed done. I don't recommend this ghetto location to anyone. Rude people and idiots working for this location.

I explained my husband is legally deaf and that is why he talks loud , I was called a liar about my husband's disability, he talk ckear because he took speech therapy during his childhood he has not always been deaf he wears one hearing , this person at wmcu is very discriminative and complaint with both governments are being filed, we are pulling out we will not tolerate this

Member since birth, now 41 still happy. Great people willing to work with you in any situation. Wouldn't trust my finances to any other bank or credit union PERIOD, and I have worked for a couple.
