    I would give them a better rating if their customer service was better. My sales rep kept telling me over and over that my plates would be in within 30-60 days, and the parts department would call me once my plates came in. (My Temporary expires Wednesday.) My temporary paper license has also started to deteriorate because it got wet so I called Saturday and the receptionist asked me who my sales rep was and transferred me. TURNS OUT MY REP NO LONGER EVEN WORKS THERE. That was her job to know and inform or direct me to someone else. I wouldn’t have even been mad about it. But she did this quick little pass off to suit herself better. I finally got a hold of my rep which he informed me he has since left. So I call again and she acts as if I’ve put her out and transfers me to someone else who granted was WAY more helpful and informs me that my plates actually are there. Which means the parts department did not call me like I was informed they would. I’m frustrated at their customer service, and quality control. It should have been handled better. I absolutely love my car but would take my car to be serviced elsewhere at this point.

    I purchased a 2017 It had 45,000 miles. I kept it for 9 months it broke down 9 times. The shop would just reset the check engine light and try to make me pay for the warranty every 2 weeks and say something else was broken. They broke other parts on my car trying to fix other stuff. They would wash the car and scratch it a lot. There mechanics are bad. They don't know what they are doing. My last frustration is I needed my registration and inspection was coming up in 3 months They said they couldn't get the part and don't know when. I traded the car off. Management act like they was tired of me. I never wanted to see these people again.

    I had an appointment for 8am on Wednesday to replace my mirror on my vehicle with a Homelink Mirror. Reggie greeted me as I walked in and was super friendly. I was in and out in less than 50 minutes and they even washed and vacuumed my car. John was also very helpful in making sure that I had what I needed to use the new mirror. It was a great experience overall - I recommend West Houston Volkswagen for service.

    They weren’t able to handle a simple state inspection ( can’t imagen them handling a turbo 🤦🏽‍♂️) , but they charged me for it. Drove 25 miles to pick up my car when I got there it wasn’t ready even after I got confirmation that it was. The service department needs to focus on service. Take your car somewhere else unless you don’t mind missing parts on your vehicle

    Best service experience I have had to date. I have brought in a few cars here for different services and have been pleasantly surprised each time. I recently had a bad experience with a local german shop to do some parts installation and decided against my doubts to just let the dealer do it this time around. Not only was the same service here over half the price as the other shop, but they also washed and vacuumed the car. The employees were also great to work with.

    I came in to this dealership the night of 01.04.2021 with a car and price in mind, and had the pleasure of dealing with Gabriel Valles, a great salesman that walked me through the features of different trim models and their benefits. After spending about 1.5 hours with me, a test drive later, and having him pull it in to the garage so I can see the color in the “sun” (weird request but he immediately obliged) we had decided on a car and I have never seen a salesman work so hard to get me the price I was looking for. Thank you Gabe, my mom loves the car and you got a customer for life!

    If you're going to buy a car from anyone, I highly recommend that you buy from Marco Perez. If you don't, you will highly regret it, just like how you didn't buy Tesla stock back when it was in the single digits. We went to several Volkswagen dealerships, but I was never impressed with any of the salespeople like I was with Marco. He was immediately warm and receptive. He made us feel comfortable and never tried to make a hard sell. It was easy to talk to him and he answered any we had knowledgeably. We were in and out quickly. Car buying has never been so easy or stress-free. He definitely earned all those awards sitting behind his desk, and I believe he deserves another one of those awards again this year! When we are ready to buy our next car, I will definitely be going back to Marco again!!

    Save yourself the trouble and go else where. The used car team at this dealership does not know the meaning of customer service or honor. I found a vehicle online on Tuesday morning and went down to the dealership to test drive. The salesman I’d spoken to wasn’t there when I arrived but he had pulled the vehicle around and left the keys with another salesman. While on the test drive we opened the sunroof to ensure everything worked. The roof opened but would not close. I made the salesperson aware upon return. He told me he’d get it fixed and it was no problem so I submitted my application. By the end of the day I hadn’t received any updates on the application so I called the salesman I’d initially spoken with. It was then he told me that I’d been approved and he needed some additional documents to complete the loan. I thought it was unprofessional that he didn’t reach out to me to give me an update when he’d returned and found out I’d submitted the application but maybe he’d a busy day and brushed it off. I sent over the documents and sent the salesman a text to confirm is done so. I didn’t receive a response. The following day I text him at 2p asking for status. He responded that he hasn’t received the documents. I was floored. It’s 2p on the next business day, why wouldn’t he have followed up if he didn’t receive the documents the night before? I resent the documents, he confirmed he received them via text to which I responded “please call if you need anything else”. I did not hear from the salesman anymore that day. On Thursday, my husband checked in with him and he said we’d have an update by the end of the day. At 330p he calls to tell us that we’ve been approved but they needed to raise the price of the car by $1100 to cover the sunroof repair and that was the directive from his sales manager. I’m frustrated I’ve wasted my time and a credit pull. Thank God I hadn’t told my son and got him excited about what could have been his new car.

    So disappointed. I just left here all excited about to hop in a 2022 Taos and I had filled out my papers and my salesman, Henry comes back and informed me that the car I was so excited to drive off in today had just been signed off by the couple at another desk and they signed for TWO SILVER Taos. Leaving me with the option of a white one. I made it clear from the jump that I didn’t want white. The salesman and his manager would do nothing to rectify the situation, other than pushing me to get the white one. Communication was lacking between salesmen and they wasted my time (90 minutes to be exact) and they didn’t seem to care. First come first serve doesn’t matter here, It’s whoever signs first. I would advise you to find another dealer that doesn’t treat their clients in this manner and aren’t apologetic and offer any solutions for their clients.

That is why it has always been first come first served. It's not that we do not care. It is exactly the opposite. We had no other alternative than the white.     The salesman was pressure, he didn't care about the budget I wanted to stay within. He just wanted to sell a car... There is no 7 day MBG and none of the vehicles are covered by any type of warranty. For this to be a "high end" dealer. I'm quite disappointed in what they had to offer. I have had my car for 4 days and my remote start no longer functions... Its definitely not covered... There's that...

(it may be something very minor) As far as a money back guarantee. There are some dealers that offer that, but there are very strict stipulations to those programs. We would much rather be transparent and not attamptimgto sugar coat some mbg that is bogus.

    Model:Taos 22 First of all my experience at West Houston Volkswagen was terrible.I was never satisfied with my purchase I completely regret buying the Taos.Three days after I made the purchase I started to have issues.I brought it for service and apparently the job was not done.Because,I continued to have the same issues.So I called back after that and the service advisor,Micheal Quinones was not available at that time.So they told me they couldn’t set up an appointment.So I continued to call for one week straight to try to setup an appointment to bring it for service.They finally transferred me with the service manager named Chris,and he was also very unhelpful.He had no idea about the situation about my car and he told me to call the following week when Micheal was back.So he was not able to assist me.I asked to call me back and they never did.In the mean time the car had a lot of issues like the radio never turning on and it had multiple engine lights on.Usually out of nowhere the car tended to shake back and forward.Two monthts passed with the problems and they never called back to solve my issues.I would definitely not recommend buying from this place.

    Nicole Benoit is amazing. I got a hold of my sisters car for a road trip and realized it needed maintenance. I called West Houston WV immediately as I saw them while on the 10 fwy and asked for a next-day appointment since I was on a short deadline. Nicole was so helpful on the phone while making the appointment and after diagnosis. I walked out feeling extremely confident for the trip and knowing that when I return the car, my sister will be in good hands (and have somewhere reliable when she needs work done). Thank you also to the service department and those who performed all of the inspections on a tight timeline to fit one more car into their crazy schedule. I left confidently, happy and knew the car was in safe shape, but would also eventually need some work without breaking the bank. Thank you Nicole and team!

    would prefer to give a 0; worst online sales experience ever, if you can not drive to the dealership and sit in the awful sales experience we all want to avoid, don't even bother calling this dealership. I have followed up multiple times daily with their sales staff, now their sales manager who told me to email him, which we did in less than 3 minutes the first time; they have had my trade information and the vehicle I have requested and 3 days later still no response or follow up's from them

    We purchased a brand new 2022 Taos from the dealership. I had negotiated the entire purchase via email and had set a time to come out to complete the purchase. Once we arrived, the selling agent was busy with another customer and we waited for almost 30 minutes for her to finish, so I could complete my purchase. Once she was able to spare some time, we finally got our paperwork going and was just handed the keys to the car once this was complete. Nobody walked us around the new vehicle and explained anything to us. Once we drove home, we found that the vehicle rattled near the windshield, so we had to go back to get this fixed and they sprayed foam to repair stop it which did work, but I wish this was done beforehand. We patiently waited for the notice of the license plate to come, but it never did, so we called in and they stated they emailed us two weeks ago, but I never did get an email.

    This is the first time ever I got an VW, I got my ID.4 here and let me tell you, Henry knows all about it, he helped us setting up the electrify america account and helped me even mount my plates on my car! That's "above and beyond" attitude what makes this place awesome. Special mention to Lorie, who helped us with the paperwork. I just think they are sweet people. Awesome place and excellent experience buying a new vehicle. Yes, they don't "Sell" the product they help you chose what you "need", unlike other dealers I've seen. If I'm getting another VW, you know where I'm going! :)

    I purchased a car via the website- it was super easy I really enjoyed my experience purchasing from this dealer. Once I came to pickup the car I meet both the sales person Russ and the finance personnel Joe. Russ was on top of all my questions and went above and beyond to assist me with the entire process even with things that were not part of his Job.     I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience. At first all was well during the purchase of our vehicle (as always sales person treats you like royalty when they want to take your money). I was leaving my lease vehicle from another company and was told by the sales agent that he will take my vehicle to return it. Well a month passed by, I received a call from the dealer asking where the vehicle was (I assumed they had sent it back). I had to speak to the sales manager of VW to figure out where my vehicle was at since the sales agent was off that day. After wasting time and Henry (the sales agent) figuring out that he ?forgot? to take the car back to the original dealer, his manager had to have one of his guys help drive the car back to its original location. The lack of responsibility and communication has left a sour taste in my mouth. I will never again visit that dealer for another VW. Furthermore Henry promised me a cargo liner which I've never received. At this point I never want to talk to that guy again. Only reason I'm giving the dealer a 2 star is because the gentleman that helped me drop off my leased vehicle was great.

    We knew exactly what we wanted, had already researched and test drove elsewhere. We did a car search on a Saturday morning; WHVW had a CPO car we were interested in, priced fairly. I made an appointment for that same day at 3pm. I spoke with Russ for about 10 minutes on the phone prior, asking questions regarding CPO warranty, and car specifics; he was patient and clear. Test drove at 3pm, trial on a backroad and trialed our carseat. Went home, discussed. Came back around 6pm, and by 8pm (thanks for staying late!) we had everything signed, and the car was ours. Russ was great, as well as the financing gentleman. Great experience. We'll be back in the future.

    I find it interesting that I submitted a review about a year ago regarding the purchase if my 2017 VW Golf (New) at this dealership. It is no longer listed here; so, I will resubmit my review, in part, till I get a better chance to outline things tomorrow. I purchased a VW Golf 2017 at VW West and after purchasing paperwork was completed I inspected the vehicle and noted a rather offensive door ding on the passenger door which was not there prior to purchasing the vehicle. They were accommodating by offering to get the ding repaired and offering a loaner vehicle in the mean time. I received my vehicle back with a nice repair job only to notice an abnormal vibration in the ride after leaving the dealership. I returned to the dealership as soon as I was able (7-10 days) and had them look the vehicle over. They said that the wheels were in balance and offered an alignment...on this new car. I payed the fee and noted no improvement...after having left the dealership. I took the vehicle to another dealership and had them look at the vehicle when they noted a bent rim and a badly out of balance wheel and noted no tool marks indicating that an alignment had been performed. The factory markings on the bolts were still in place indicating that the ppl at West VW had done zero with the alignment and yet charged me for the job. The other (Not West VW) dealership balanced by wheel and informed me that there was a badly bent rim which I did not get fixed until later. So West charged me for two wheel balancing(s) and an alignment without any improvement and lied to me about being nothing wrong with the vehicle. When I get a chance, tomorrow I will write another review with dates and receipts in order to tell the story more accurately. I just find it interesting that my review is not listed here any more. Neither has the manager responded as he has with the other reviews (curious). I monitored the review for about a year and noted no response to my grievance. It seems that this dealership has problems with how they treat their inventory as well as products that they have already sold. I do not trust these people. Reply to Mr Steve P (3/18/2021) No, Mr Steve P, I do not think you have the authority to remove a review as the review process would then have no validity. I simply find it curious. You guys respond to all the good reviews or reviews that may appear to be spurious in nature, right away. It's been nearly a year since I posted my initial review...and...crickets. Agreed that some reviews which do not have rhyme or reason may be removed. However, I have receipts from visits and compelling evidence from valid service centers that work was not done. In addition, I spoke with service representatives (or are they managers?) each time I was there (at West Houston VW) and did not find that my problems were fixed. After having given West Houston VW several chances to resolve my problem I decided to visit another service center. The second opinion discovered many problems fairly (as long as it took to get the wheel on a balancer and the car up on a rack) quickly. And I had been to your people 45 +/- days earlier. The out of balanced wheel, the dented rim, the lack of adjustment to the nuts required to do a wheel alignment were all very compelling; and I payed for all these services. These guys balanced a wheel that was "badly out of balance" at which point the ride of the car smoothed out significantly. The bent rim still needed to be trued. Had I returned my vehicle to West Houston I decided I would be met with more of the same. So I decided on a public forum in order to address these inconsistencies in your service department. The $200-500 I spent at your service center for services that were arguably not performed is certainly a frustration for me and a reason why many car dealerships sustain the reputation they have.     I just had the world's best transaction in working with Stacy Aslami at VW West Houston! Literally top notch service. Stacy reached out to me after an online inquiry and made car-buying a breeze. I never would've thought I'd be driving off in a brand new 2021 Atlas for such a great price, but I let her know what I was looking for, the monthly price I was aiming for, and she made it happen seamlessly. She is also super fun to talk with--such a sweet and genuine person. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way.     I just bought my first car ever at this dealership and I had a fantastic experience. I randomly called this dealership about 3 weeks ago because I was looking at purchasing a VW from a different dealership and wanted to see if they could offer a competitive rate. Stacy Aslami reviewed the offer and instantly found 2 line items that I should not have been charged for. Since then we communicated over phone & email to discuss my options and she was very patient with me. She invited me to come into the dealership today to discuss further and from start to finish, she was incredible to work with and made sure I was getting exactly what I was looking for in terms of the car and price. Not only was working with her great, but everyone I encountered at the dealership was friendly, helpful and patient with me. The financial services part was the easiest - with zero pressure to include add ons or extras.     Joe in finance is an absolute gem. The positives of this dealership end there. Do not shop here if you want the terms of your signed contract to be upheld. This dealer made a clerical error and then refused to honor the signed terms. I went back to the location to discuss and the situation escalated quickly thereafter. After a very rude and heated discussion with Steve (GM) and Adam (used car man), they threatened legal action and to repossess the vehicle from me. Ultimately, we went our separate ways after I was called a "thief" and a "dishonest man." I do not recommend this dealer.

    We purchase the vehicle from the showroom floor, saying that you would expect the car to have been cleaner than most due to every person touching and sitting in the vehicle. It was around 6 when we drove off and the next day I notice alot of hand prints all over the car and the interior of vehicle was dirty. I took cleaning solution and white cloth to wipe down, no surprise there my cloth was all black from the dirt that was left. Seem like the cleaning crew did the bare minimum to get my vehicle cleaned and during a time like this would expect a higher quality of service from them. I was very disappointed.

    Since they are not part of the big chain dealerships, you get a very good one-on-one customer treatment. They care about giving the best service and following up with the service they provided. Car buying is also easy with them even though I miss one of the best sales managers they had before. He we in the business for a long time and he was the reason I was trusting I am getting a good deal. I have not bought a car from them lately so I will update you on that. I have bought 5 cars from these guys in the past 13 years.

    I would strongly recommend avoiding this dealership and its Subaru partner. Their used cars aren't inspected properly and they won't even call you back. I've left multiple messages and haven't received any call backs, but they still seem to have time to call me to try and sell maintenance packages.

    My wife and I purchased a used Toyota Highlander from this dealership in September. Our sales rep, Russ Ali, was first class every step of the way. He allowed us to handle the process the way we wanted to, without being pushy. Also, he gracefully answered our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful car buying experience and were happy with our purchase. Finally, the same was true when we sat down with the finance manager to sign the contract. Will definitely consider buying from this dealer in the future.

    Unfortunately I got a vehicle with a blown head gasket from this dealership. They said all deals are final when I brought this to their attention after a few days after buying the vehicle. I don’t feel safe driving this vehicle with my kids. Please get all used vehicles checked by your own mechanic before buying from this dealership.

    Always have a great experience doing business with this dealership. We bought my Mom’s first VW from here and the sales staff, Russ Ali, & Kenny I’m financing got my mom approved with a zero credit rating. They were amazing, the other dealerships gave her the run around on her financing, mind you she always bought her cars with cash as well as her house and never used a credit card. She decided to get a credit rating by financing her first car and everyone else including the other VW dealers in town wouldn’t approve her but this dealership understood my moms needs and worked hard to get her business. She has been bring her car in for regular maintenance here and about a month ago I brought her car in for an engine light check. Daniel took great care of us and kept following up with us about the status of the repairs. We recently got a letter for a recall part and again Daniel and his team are taking great care of us again!

    Mr. Reginald Walker in the Service Center always takes great care of my car. I come in once a year for the annual service and I always feel I can completely rely on his advice. The staff are friendly, competent, and I like the free popcorn. The reason I came to West Houston Volkswagen to buy my car 6 years ago is that a woman at my dry cleaners told me how friendly and trustworthy everyone is. There are two other VW dealerships closer to me, but I drive to West Houston VW for the friendly service.

    I used these guys to service my modded VW for the last 7 years. They have always been friendly, accommodating of my mods and fair. They've also been very flexible, working around my schedule, offering to take me to work and pick me up or providing a loaner car for longer repairs. I worked with just two agents in all the years there, first Karla Cruz (who moved over to their Subaru dealership) and then John Salassi. First, that level of employee retention in an industry known for high turnover says something good about the management in general. More specifically both John and Karla were outstandingly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really took the effort make sure all was good. Small things like coming over to give me updates or check in with me when I waited for my car or preemptively asking if I need a ride somewhere when I drop off really made me feel valued as customer. Additionally I had a third party warranty and they did all of the middle man work of getting warranty claims approved. The one time the claim was denied, John went out of his way to arm me with all the paperwork I needed to fight it with the warranty company (and win!). I'll be honest, I just bought another vehicle outside of VW and I'm dreading having to find a new dealership to take it to because I can't imagine the service will be as good as John at West Houston VW provided. I am thinking about buying a Mk8 R when they come out and if I do, it will go to West Houston for all its needs without hesitation.

    I really enjoyed my experience while purchasing my 2018 Atlas. The sales manager Marco really made it a pleasant experience. They were not offering the best prices in town, but their team didn't hesitate to match the price. So make sure that you do your research, and you will have a great time. My favorite part about shopping here was that they did not pressure me into extra plans or anything of that nature.     Worst Used Dealership. I am a 23 year old women buying a car for the first time and I’ve never been more upset with myself for purchasing my vehicle here. I was looking at a Jeep and after being asked if my “Dad was buying the car for me”. I was already un-easy. But because the car was what I was looking for and the right price I went against my gut and purchased the car. Because I financed through a bank the dealership rushed me through signing a form for no-warranty. Less than 30 miles from the dealership my tire pressure light came on. I emailed the salesmen that sold me the car. No response. After having the car less than a month, my heater core went out. PLEASE NEVER BUY A USED CAR HERE. They will not help you and have worst customer service.

    0 start if i could. Do not buy from their used inventory. I just purchased an 08 Honda Accord not a month ago and it started falling apart inside 3 days off the lot. I had the car checked out and it was flood damaged and never reported in the carfax. This place is shady.

Quite honestly we were there for over 3 hours at a time with no answers. We were given the run around every time we called it went it.     I highly recommend West Houston Volkswagen. I bought my car here about 2 months ago and was in a car accident 4 days later. I received my car back Friday from a collision shop not repaired correctly making noises, with small dents etc. I brought my car to West Houston Volkswagen and the service director Chris and assistant service manager Reginald went above and beyond to help me with the repair of my car.     As a first time buyer and knowing the type of vehicle I wanted. The entire process was methodical and smooth. You hear so many horror stories about dealerships, but not once did I feel that I was being led astray from the price I wanted and worked with me to the very end. I even offered to throw a little more for a down payment and the saleswoman told me to save the money for my family and it sold not only me but my Step-Father as well. It was such a great experience that even my Stepdad and older Sister said they were going to there in the near future. Albeit we live a couple of hours away but most definitely worth it.

    Such a bummer. This dealership is your typical dealership. Give your business to Volkswagen Cypress. This place isn't willing to work numbers with busy individuals who work full-time with kids. I brought my current vehicle in for an appraisal here. They told me if I completed the credit application that they would run some numbers for me and would send them via email or call me with them. I received a call a moment ago from a sales person stating that unfortunately the manager still requires me to come in. 95% of dealerships now are willing to discuss numbers via email or over the phone. Unfortunately West Houston Volkswagen is not. Very very shady place. They would rather you come in and waste several hours so you "give-in" rather than just discuss numbers and make a deal. Volkswagen Cypress is not only willing to make a deal and discuss numbers over the phone, but they even offered to deliver the paperwork to my work which was totally unexpected.

    Purchased a brand new vehicle in 2020 which is still under warranty. The trim piece/ceiling console fell from the roof of my car as I’m sitting at a stop light. I called and someone in parts and Nikki assured me the part was there. I asked them to triple check to make sure. They again assured me the part was there and it was a common problem. Sat there for 2 hours and then John (someone from service) says the part is on back order there’s no eta. My issue is I called to make sure the part was there. I was reassured multiple times by two different people the part was there. Instead we wasted our morning and no solution to fix the vehicle.

    I have taken my Passat in MANY times to west Houston VW. THEY ( Daniel my service advisor ) WILL NOT Go the extra to get the items addressed. Will NOT EVEN call me to say we need to order the clip for your visor or that they want to charge me $400.00 to further investigate my washer motor problem. The last time was a tire issue. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DOES NOT CARE to take care and really try to do a good job. They will do the easy stuff like oil change but as far as going the extra mile to address other issues FORGET IT!!

When we are diagnosing a problem that a customer is experiencing there is a diagnosis charge. Once you determine if you would like to repair the car, that amount goes towards the repair. If the repair is less than the amount you get the differnce back. We never want to accept your money for something we do not do. You have to realize that the technician must be paid for thier time and that is what the diagnosis fee is for. His time to diagnos. In the event you choose to do the repair that amount goes towards your repair bill. If it is found that the componenet is covered unnder warranty we will glady refund the FULL amount of the diagnosis fee.     Had a dissatisfactory service encounter at this dealership two days ago whilst trying to replace a trim item in my vehicle known to cause injury - a widely known fault for the model. Mike, the Service Consultant, was dismissive and unhelpful. When escalating the issue to the Service Director he gave a presumably typical "it's not the dealership's fault, it's VW you need to contact" response. Both gentlemen refused to acknowledge the problem as a known fault and referenced my lack of warranty as the reason for their refusal to replace the item. However, following my call to VW customer service yesterday, the part was replaced today at the same dealership free-of-charge. When VW customer service initially tried to contact the dealership, Mike hung up the phone on the VW representative and was "unavailable" for further calls. I would be rating the dealership 1 star had it not been for Daniel who was polite and efficient and resolved my issue without trouble.

    I think the worst service I ever experience , we took the car Friday morning for recall appointment, we have problem with the driver side seat, they said that they fix the recall, and working on the seat. Everytime they promised to call me back never do, I call Saturday to check on the car, the receptionist told me Monday,??????, so they didn't call, we don't have a car in the weekend , Monday morning the kids have summer school, what a miss , in addition the car is 2020 and burning oil , so bad cars and bad service , I call the manager twice today he didn't answer , he pick which calls to return I think , so sure the vw is not recommended and the dealer is not recommended, I but one star because I don't have option to but zero for this service

I don't understand why the initial fee is so much, then you get hit with a couple thousand in offered repairs, flushes, and other nonsense. What started as a software update for the radio turned into a need for a new radio which they want to charge over $1100. Ridiculous price gouging, will not return here.

    I was honestly blown away with the service I received. When I arrived John greeted me and I did a walk around of my vehicle and gave me a rough estimate of an hour to complete my oil change and tire rotation. After a few minutes John returned and asked me if I had been having any issues because he noticed that my coolant level was slightly low. I hadn't, but he assured me they would look at it while performing my other requested services. Luckily, they ended up finding a small thermostat leak, had the part in stock, and were able to replace it without me being there over two hours. John checked on and updated me throughout the repair process and I have absolutely zero complaints. It was my first time here to this dealership but I'll happily drive the 30 minutes to Katy to get my services and repairs done here.

    Very unprofessional. Took almost 2 hours to change 1 tire. Didn’t give a estimated wait time. The location is poorly ran. The cashiers were cursing, not caring about who hears them. It should take 2 hours for them to change 1 tire and wash my car. Very ridiculous.

    I had the most pleasant experience working with Tony Pourghaed during the purchase of a 2020 CPO VW Passat on Jan 11, 2022. Tony was attentive, followed up accordingly, transparent, and didn't hide any additional fees, dealer addendum, and other nonsense as done by a lot of other dealers in the Houston area.     We had a pleasant experience here until today. Very disappointed in the service or lack there of with used vehicles at this dealership. The salesman waited until 10 minutes before a scheduled appointment to let us know they wouldn’t be able to replace safety issues regarding a seatbelt and windshield while we were still an hour away (we were told the appointment was able to be done at 11 and he called to say it was at 10). We live two hours out of Houston. Wasted time, gas and can’t get them replaced until close to two months from now since this was the only day we we were able to get this fixed and this dealership is the only one they will use to fix the issues.

    My experience with this location was not the most pleasant it took a month to get in issue resolved with the advisor Nicole B, She didn't want to correct the issue that the company had caused by not putting my tire on correctly and kept placing blame on me trying to get me to buy a new tire instead if replacing it. After a few trips and phone calls and taking off work I talked the service manager Chris as well as the GM Steve both were very nice and pleasant unlike Ms. Nicole who had no real intent to help me, but complained about the company that my tire warranty was under as well as accused me by saying "You must have another nail in your tire" "you messed up the tire by driving on it" when I called to tell her my tire was flat the next day after getting four brand new tires from them. Daniel ended up being my advisor and everything went smoothly and John the other service advisor was pleasant to work with as well. my Issue was resolved within a day when I've been waiting for over a month for Ms. Nicole to get me off a donut tire. overall we will Not be going back to this location but instead the Cypress VW where we purchased our Atlas and Tiguan from even with the wait time it will be better service at the cypress location.

    The only redeeming quality of West Houston Volkswagen is their new car finance manager. That is it. Nothing else. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Tiguan with 528 miles on it on June 10th, 2021. The vehicle was leased for 13 days per the Carfax report. It then sat at West Houston Volkswagen for almost a month, again, per Carfax report. We inspected the vehicle inside and under the hood and everything seemed fine. I only test drove it in their parking lot due to us having to sign a disclaimer that any malfunctions/accidents would not be covered under their warranty thus causing the dealership to have our insurance on file to test drive the car. That did not sit right with use since we didn't know the full history of the car at simply a test drive. Bert was our sales guy, on at least 7 occasions during the 4 hours we were in his office, my husband and I almost walked out. He was condescending, rude, and plainly an a$$. My husband mentioned that there were brand new Tiguan's on their lot for only $300 more than what we were purchasing and we were told that their website wasn't accurate. Then when he mentioned we could go back to VW Cypress where he purchased an Atlas two years prior due to Bert's attitude, he told us "fine but you wont find anything." He acted like he was gods gift to car sales. We went ahead with the sale because we were tired of looking for cars after I was in a car accident and we just wanted to be done with it. Low and behold, 5 days later after driving 1/4 mile to Walmart by my house, I get back in my vehicle and a malfunction light was on and the coolant light came on. I immediately turned the vehicle off and called West Houston VW. Nicky told me that I couldn't purchase coolant anywhere because it is a "very specific kind." When I mentioned that this is unacceptable that I have to add coolant at 5 days after leaving the dealership she said "ok." I then asked for the manager. Boy, I didn't think it could get much worse than Bert but IT DID! Scott, the service manager, was just as rude. I was told that he didn't know what he could do, I did it, and it probably never got inspected before we left with the vehicle. We were assured and even in our paper work signed that the vehicle went under a 190-something point inspection while we were purchasing it. I become so agitated that I hung up and called a different dealership because I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER take my care back to them. Adam the Pre-Owned sales manager did call me this morning after I left a message to apologize and admitted that shortcuts were made and that my sales guy was rude and the service manager was in the wrong as well. He offered to provide me any accessory that I wanted as a token of apology which I appreciated but I would rather have a car not on the back of a tow truck. Demontrond VW in Houston was able to tell me exactly what I should do to get it to them. I have a full warranty due to the car having 528 miles on it and West Houston VW said they couldn't do anything. The car was towed to Demontrond VW where they fixed a rodent damaged coolant line, vacuum line, purge line and complete the inspection that West Houston VW failed to do. This is a non warranty issue so the warranty did not cover it but after a lot of back and forth, West Houston VW paid for the damage that occurred on their lot. The damage obviously occurred over a period of time and would have been visible to any mechanic had they just lifted the hood and looked. Adam and the GM of West Houston VW, Steve worked with Demontrond VW to repair my vehicle and West Houston VW paid for the repairs to it. I appreciated that Steve and Adam attempted to help, and covered the cost of the neglect from their dealership.

    Went there to lease a new VW Atlas and was very disappointed with the way they treat customers or conduct business. After the test drive I asked my sales lady for lease options & pricing, just like anyone else would & she flat out refused to give me any information unless she runs my credit !! I was shocked & tried to make sense of it by explaining, I would need to know my payment and numbers before pulling credit & that's how I have bought cars for the past 20 years. She went & talked to her manger, came back and said I can leave as they had showed a lot of customers numbers yesterday & now they will have to pull my credit before showing me any figures. I just left very disappointed and figured would share my experience.

You were given the numbers on a lease, your associate did explain to you that our inventory was low and there is a HIGH demand. She asked you specifically if you were ready to purchase today and to purchase that specific car. You said no. That is the reason we could not go further. The numbers would have been speculative. Programs change monthly and you have not picked a car you would take home, so the numbers would not have been accurate. Lori referred you to the place you would get the closest numbers if you were not ready to commit, our web site.     Best VW dealer I’ve been to in Houston. Had to drive in because of an emergency. The team took the time to look through my car without an appointment. I brought it in the next day and the team was clear on what the warranty covered and gave me a loaner vehicle. Special thanks to Nicole, Reginald and Michael in the service team. I’ve been to Archer and Momentum, and they don’t compare. Momentum gave me conflicting messages about my warranty and didn’t give me a loaner vehicle even though it’s covered under warranty. Archer sent me a quote for issues that were still covered under warranty; if you call they’ll ask you to hold and hang up on you. In short, save yourself the headache and go to West Houston VW.

    A car service representative told me my car was NOT equipped with TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)…but it indeed does. It states so on the Volkswagen website and mechanics have also confirmed that information to me. Yet he denied that information and refused to provide adequate help. I had a lot of faith in this dealership until that happened. How are you going to tell me my car is not equipped with TPMS if it says so all over the official Volkswagen website?! So now I have a bad sensor on my car that they dont want to fix because they don’t acknowledge the FACT it comes with TPMS sensor

    Wouldn't recommend them one bit. Bought a car from them and 2 weeks later (to the day) it broke down on the side of the road. They fixed it (we bought a warranty, which they hadn't even filed the paperwork for yet) it took them 9 days to fix it and somehow it has 1000 more miles on it than when we dropped it off!! The day we picked it up it says it needs to be serviced! They didn't even wash the car!! We bought our first car with Sewell, we'll be buying our next car with Sewell. This has been an awful experience.

    Purchased a VW last week from a CDJR dealer and called to ask the service department, at this VW dealer, the cost to inspect it (I want VW to inspect it) and do a DSG service. The service rep that answered the call had a terrible attitude stating "they don't do used car inspections"; I never asked him to inspect the car, I asked him to quote a diagnostic test (his attitude was so bad I just told him never mind and ended the call, didn't even get to ask about the transmission service). If this dealership wants new customers or retain customers, I suggest you look at your customer service policies/training.

    I normally don't write reviews, but with the help I received from Reggie at the service center I felt I needed to. The other day I punctured my tire on a random piece of metal in the middle of the road and he was able to help me out the same day. Reggie even went above and beyond to pick up the tires himself so that I could have them mounted/balanced/aligned that afternoon. Reggie has always been very helpful with all of my previous visits, explaining what exactly they are seeing with the car, and my car always comes back in a better state than when I brought it there. I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend. I know that service at a dealership is usually a little more expensive than some smaller shops, but you get what you pay for. After bad experiences elsewhere, I will only bring my car here. If you get any service work done here it will be done right. Thanks Reggie and the rest of the team in the service department!

    We purchased a 2021 Atlas here less then a month ago and it already has all sorts of problems and the check engine light on. Also an "SOS service immediately" message. We have been back now multiple times for service and now they will not honor the warranty without charging you. Take your business elsewhere. UPDATE: I offered to pay the charge they were requesting. My card had a Mastercard logo on it. They still refused. I offered cash, check etc. as well. I waited an hour to speak to a manager and nobody came. Now I see their response is to accuse me of being dishonest. Definitely not driven by customer service here and no attempt was made to make it right.

The charges you are referring to were for a deposit, just that, a deposit on a LOANER car. Just like when you rent a car or a hotel room; for incidentals that you may have (toll violations, not returning the car in the same condition you took it in {ie: dirty or damaged} not returned with a full tank of fuel) are some of the examples. Your card was declined whether or not it had a logo on it or not is irrelevant ($100.00 was not available). We will be glad to any warranty work you would like done to your Atlas. Without question. You were told I was in a meeting. You spoke with my Parts and Service director who went over the policy with you, this was the same information that the service advisor went over with you. I do not understand what we needed to make right?     I've brought my car here for safety recalls and they have finished the job quickly. The waiting area is nice, although the seating orientation could be improved. Also, the only issue I had the first time was the horrendous car wash that was done on the car. I understand that it was a complimentary service, but the glasses had smudges all over them and the exterior looked bad.

    I waited a week to write this review, and all I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Russ Ali and his team. I literally texted Russ on Thursday evening about a convertible I wanted, and by Friday lunch, I was signing papers and getting ready to drive out my vehicle. If you are looking to buy a car in Houston, even if it's not a VW, call Russ Ali first. Why? 1) He's super honest and direct: this was my first car and he gave me all of the details I needed to make an informed decision. He knew I had a demanding job so didn't play the "tricks" or put unnecessary pressure on me. He made what is usually a stressful process super easy. 2) They are all about quality: my car is 2016 but looks brand new. I can tell that they pride themselves on offering solid cars and I am forever grateful 3) He cares: he took time to listen to my situation and concerns. He made sure I found something that was within my budget, my style, and safe / reliable. He also gave me advice and guidance on not only the car buying process but everything else. He knew that I wanted to show my parents the car so patiently waited for me to get their opinion before finishing 4) The whole team is amazing: buying a car during a pandemic is not easy for anyone, and they showed me and my family so much compassion and care. From sanitizing / wearing masks to reducing my need to do any extraneous tasks or jump through unnecessary hoops, every member of the staff was a pleasure to work with. 5) Transparency: There were no hidden costs or bait and switch. He honored what he advertised and was transparent about what deals / specials he offered other customers which I appreciated. It's really hard to put into words how amazing the team at West Houston VW is but I'll close with this: no matter where I go or what I do, I have a feeling I'll be getting any and all of my cars from West Houston VW from now on.

    I was not sure which vehicle I wanted but Laurie was so patient and kind to allow me the time I needed to compare and test drive both vehicles. She was not pushy like most salespeople. Laurie is very professional and explained the details for each car. She really knows her stuff. That was fastest experience with finance that I have ever had. I would recommend this dealership and especially work with Lauire. She is amazing.

    NO STARS IF I COULD! I won’t recommend this place to no one. The service center is awful, dishonest and have no idea what they are doing, very incompetent. They will try to scam you out of repairs cost ( shady business) When you complain, the service manager is even rude and unprofessional.

    Called this dealership and was a straight shooter. Told them exactly what I was looking for payment wise and another bid, I received from a competitor dealership. They told me to come in and they were CERTAIN they could beat the offer. I go in and played the whole "bait and switch" with these guys. Wasted 2 hours out of my day to do talk to them, and I did not make the deal because they did not beat the other offer. The people are unorganized and it took them 10 minutes just to set-up a test drive when I was the ONLY customer in there. Would not recommend doing business with these guys. Take your business elsewhere to a dealer that actually will stick to their words.

    I received several recall letters and went to the service. They don't have all the parts for recall but they told me there was a nail on the side of the tire and it is not fixable. I paid $200+ and got a new tire, even when I drive to the dealer my tire sensor told me tires work perfectly. However, I feel a little shake while driving fast after that tire was changed. So I went to VW again. And they told me I have to change 3 other tires and do the alignment. I choose not to because it is too expensive. However, when I drive out of the service, I found my front sensor start to alert. I feel instead of fixing, you are breaking the car.

    We found our new preowned car online and drove nearly 4 hours to get it. Russ was incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. He texted us pictures of the car, Facetimed with us to give us a walk-through, and held it for us while we drove down. He was kind and never pushy. Excellent service all around!!

    We were shopping for an extra car just to drive out of town and run errands, Russ Ali greeted us at the door and showed us the vehicle we had found on-line. We explained the purpose of the purchase and he was very helpful, unlike other sales persons that we have dealt with in the past Ali did not push us, did not try to up-sell any other cars. We were looking at cars and found a Volvo that got both our attention. He was VERY helpful and professional, he never pushed, he was very friendly, he didn't try to sell us any other products that we did not need. We ended up buying the Volvo and the whole purchase process lasted an hr if that. He also helped us exchange one of our cars for a new 2019 Tiguan. We left the dealer and he called us the next day with information we inquired on the Tiguan, we went back to the dealer just to pick the car we wanted and sign documents. I am NOT the kind of person who gets impressed easily but ALI exceeded all my expectations and beyond that. The whole West Houston VW team has been a GREAT experience for us, both used and new cars sides of the house. We hope to have found our go to dealer.

    I went in to see Russ and as soon as I arrived the vehicle I was interested was parked in the front. I test drove the vehicle and when I returned I felt no pressure from him to purchase the vehicle. Within two hours or less, I bought the vehicle. It was very pleasant and fast. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend seeing Russ for a car purchase at this dealership. Update: this specific dealership has an extreme delay processing license plates. Their excuse is covid, however, I’m not sure how it’s only affecting this dealership. Three of my friends bought their vehicles at a Toyota dealership two weeks after I did and they all received their plates 1 month ago. I’m a disabled veteran and initially when I asked if I could register my plates as such, being I did so With my previous vehicle, I was told they couldn’t do that because they create their own plates and then send off to DMV, which I assume that’s the reason for the delay. Therefore, after receiving there’s which, it Has already been 3 MONTHS and still nothing, I have to submit another request to DMV to get disabled plates.

    I have been looking at the VW Atlas and I stopped by this dealership 2 weeks ago to get my trade in appraised and test drive the new Atlas. The sales rep Lori was great but when it came time to get numbers I was told them don't do that until you're ready to buy.. I left and came back a week later in the afternoon and was helped by a manager. He took my truck to be appraised for 20 minutes and returned to tell me the used car manager was out and would be back in 1 hour. I was told I would get a call with my appraisal and we could get a deal done that day. I'm still waiting for a call back. I went 2 times to this dealer to do business and each time they acted like they didnt want to sell me a $48,000 vehicle.

    I recently purchased a vehicle from Russ at West Houston Volkswagen and had a great experience. I drove from San Antonio and Russ had the car ready to go when I got there. He didn’t even blink an eye when I brought my brother and a friend along to check out the car with me. Negotiations were fairly easygoing considering I was purchasing a unicorn of a vehicle.     I found vehicle and called to confirm vehicle. Tony answered In used department. He told me he will check and get back to me. He never called. I drove there and see Vehicle and approached Tony. He didn’t seem happy to see me. He just blew me off and o asked him sticker price is different than your website and other car websites. He kept walking and told me it’s mistake.
