Wells Fargo Bank Laurel St, San Carlos

I visited the branch about 3 months ago and stayed on the line for teller. My request was handled with Mrs. Zahra smoothly and perfectly. She helped me with all I needed to know about my request and transaction and guided me with different options. Thanks so much. 🎩

Let me first start by saying that my family has been with Wells Fargo for years and we're used to the superior service that we've always received from various branches but this time really left an impression on me. Let me give you some backstory - I'm looking to build my son's credit as well as find a good credit card for myself so I went into the branch on 1900 Broadway street. Was greeted quickly and asked what I needed, I told the young man that I was looking for a credit card and without hesitation he said "okay, give me a second" and when a banker was available he walked me over to her (I wish I caught his name but he was very nice gentleman and very sincere! Thank you if you are reading this). I was brought over to this very unapproachable young lady who looks like she just had the worst life ever and hated her job. When the young man walked away she gave him a look that shouldn't be given in front of customers and was very ... cold to us. We sat down for a quick second and not even long enough for us to say our names and she gave us the same look that she gave the teller and we decided this was not the branch for us. I don't understand how unhappy someone can be at their jobs. I've heard horror stories about wells but never experienced them myself until I (tried to) sit down with Alex and open not 1 but 2 credit cards with her for my son and myself. Although it was explained to her that we wanted more information about the credit cards I guess we just came at a time that didn't work for her. That put a very bad taste in my mouth for the wells brand beside the service I received from the nice greeter. Never again will I go to 1900 Broadway Wells Fargo simply because of this Alex girl and her nasty attitude and un-wells like behavior. If you want to be rude to people and not enjoy your job, go work at the DMV!! Not Wells!!!!! BUT all is not lost with Wells Fargo because the AMAZING TEAM at 632 Laurel street made up for it. Martin was very kind and helpful - full of information and simply an amazing experience! I recommend this branch over any other branch. They saved my families accounts because I went in there with the intention to close down our accounts after this experience. Thank you to everyone at wells at 632 Laurel Street! Thank you to everyone ELSE at 1900 Broadway for making my normal experience with Wells Fargo always enjoyable, and pleasant what the wells brand is about. Please get Alex some customer service training from Martin so your store can be 100 instead of 99! 1 Bad apple can ruin the whole bunch!

Tellers are nice but the bankers at this location are the worst. Bad attitude. Bad service.

A certified agent at Wells Fargo Laurel Street branch did not have the correct knowledge to advise us on a roll over of our Ira count. His lack of knowledge caused us delays in filing taxes and many hours on the phone trying to fix the the problem he put us in. we have reached out to the manager hoping that she would help, but unfortunately she showed no effort to respond. we have been banking with Wells Fargo for 30 years since it’s close to home, but when it comes to big accounts, or retirement, Wells Fargo is not the place to go in my opinion.

Extremely friendly service, very helpful, genuine feeling that they're looking to build a relationship with you, like banks used to. Louie in particular is a wonderful guy.

Nobody greets you at the front door. Been sitting here for 15 mins without a banker reaching me.
