Wells Fargo Bank Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook

I’m a credit card holder of this bank and got a offer sent in the mail to open a bank account for a bonus, I just had to come into a branch psychically to verify identity. The bank closes at 5pm. I drove here from 30 mins away at 4:25 I arrived and was told they had one employee to open bank accounts and they could not help me. I was told this by branch manager Ariana Bobaj. You would think the branch manager knew how to open accounts or would offer to help, instead she said try tomorrow, not caring at all I work until 4pm everyday and drove from 30 mins away. Needless to say I’ll stick with my bank that I originally have that is fully staff and more then willing to help their customers.

Called four times, was put on hold by the operator system 3 times. They finally picked up the fourth time and the lady was very rude and unpleasant. I just had a simple question about deposits. First time calling because I go to Webster bank (they are wayyyyy better just saying). Sad to say- terrible customer service

The staff there are super nice but don't bank with them. They closed my account day before direct deposit was coming and all they said was oops that was our fault but did nothing about it. I truly believe the people that work there are not experienced for there job and do not have a clue. Not only did they lose a banking and credit card customer but I was getting a mortgage from them also, thank god I did not... STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK

They charge $7.50 to cash a payroll check drawn on their own own paper. Avoid at all costs

I respect their protocol and although the visit didn’t go my way, the teller was very helpful and did all that she could to try and help my situation. Thank you for your time.

Went to the Old Saybrook office to work out some problems with my Wells Fargo credit card. Talked to Joseph Anastasia who was very helpful and understanding. Worked it all out successfully. Thank you Jack

Convenience of walk up outdoor ATM at the Old Saybrook Shopping Center. I find it safe and protected from the elements of inclement weather. Also, the ease and efficiency of the Wells Fargo ATM Machines is appreciated. Many banks have complicated ATM Machines, especially if it is not your primary bank.

All I have to say is this branch needs to do better. Poor Poor customer service starting with there phone etiquette, very disappointed in this branch, they need serious trainning and I hope they receive it rather quickly.

Excellent service. A few of them helped me do an international transfer the other day and they were all very helpful. As an out of town we, it’s good to get great local service like that.
