I had an appointment at this branch today to get Medallion Signature Guarantee. The Wells Fargo employee refused to perform this service for me in the rudest possible manner. He treated me like I was a "leper". It boggles my mind that Wells Fargo would hire someone with zero public relations skills.

I always have great service at this branch. Barbie, the manager, says a friendly hello any time I go in and all the tellers are wonderful but Donna in particular, one of the tellers, is extremely professional yet very kind and patient!
It’s wonderful to see that you’ve had such a positive experience at this location, Leslie. We appreciate the feedback, and it's been forwarded to the appropriate teams. Thank you for choosing Wells Fargo. -Jessica, Wells Fargo HL Social

Christina Slack at Wells Fargo is a gem. I needed a notary. I went to the UPS Store and received zero service. They pointed me at WF across the street. I walked in without an appointment (I am not a customer) and she assisted me immediately and without charge. Great service!

This is a very good bank! I had credit unions in Seattle and again in Oregon and California for years and I am surprised to say this Wells Fargo that I've been with since I moved here 2.5 years ago, treats customers even better than the last CU I was with. I hadn't been with a "mainstream bank" for over a decade due to negative experiences in the past and when coming to Sedona I needed a bank (since the CU here isn't shared branching). Every worker here has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, get me scheduled in to talk to a banker when an "issue" arises, or get me to a source with accurate information. Also, I have *never once encountered a grumpy worker* here. They are always polite, even when they seem super busy. I appreciate Ryan who helps with appts and appreciate all the tellers at drive thru or teller window/desk. They have all been exceptional. THANK YOU all for actually treating me like I am human being with kindness and respect. Keep up the good work!!!
I truly appreciate you taking the time to share these kind words with us, Heather. It’s wonderful to see that you’ve had such a positive experience with Ryan. Thank you for choosing Wells Fargo. -AJ, Wells Fargo HL Social

CONCERN OVER TRUSTWORTHINESS OF BANK BY MAIL SYSTEM I have been using the Wells Fargo Bank by Mail system since 2008 and never had a problem. This year I started using it again to make monthly deposits from another bank, the idea was to save me time so that I would save an extra trip to the bank every month and not have to make the deposit in person. I noticed this year that the mailing address had changed from Portland, OR to Minneapolis, MN. I noticed recently that out of eleven Bank by Mail checks that had been automatically been sent in by another bank to Wells Fargo, four of these checks had not been deposited in the total amount of $7,454.00. I went in to the bank a week ago Friday to inquire and handed over all of my original documentation, failing to make an extra copy for myself. I came in again this morning to get a report because I was told they didn't have an answer and had to do some 'research'. One of the failed deposits was from last September, the other three were November checks. Not only could they not tell me initially this morning what had happened, they could not find the original documentation I had given them. So, I had to go home and re-create all of the documentation all over again so that we had something to work with again. By the time I had returned to the bank they had found all of the documentation I had given them a week ago. A deposit was made to apply the missing payments, but there was still a mystery about why it had happened. I am concerned about systems and protocols not being followed at the Wells Fargo Bank by Mail department, and why there seemed to be no oversight or checks and balances like there are at other banks. I have to assume that if this happened to me, it also could have happened to other Wells Fargo customers that might not even know there is a problem. I hope that the bank makes the effort to find out why and how this happened, and makes sure that the problem is corrected and never happens again. It is not a good reflection on Wells Fargo that a problem like this is identified by a customer and not discovered internally first.
