Jess Marshall was wonderful, and I have already recommended her to a few friends. She was SO responsive and quick to email me back whenever I had questions. She made me feel really confident with the entire mortgage process. As a first time home buyer, it was so important to have someone I trusted be attentive and responsive to the changing mortgage rates and my financial situation. I highly recommend her and will absolutely work with her again if/when I sell and need a new mortgage!

This place is awesome they really care about the relationships that they build with they're customer's. They're very thorough in explaining the process. The knowledge that was poured into me when I went to drop off paperwork was awesome. Because people can always do business with you but when someone takes tme out of there day To tell you about life and growth and just what it takes to have patience and empathy and never forgetting where you come from is key To just be honest and understanding the process of home buying . Which is stressful but when you work hard good things will happen.

I really cannot say enough good things about my mortgage broker, David Nuber at this company. I have used him for years for both home purchases and refinances and he is simply the very best. I am a lawyer and so I know when I see diligence, and when I do not. David exemplifies professionalism. There will be times when the process can be stressful and the only saving grace is that you know David is in your corner. If you want someone who gets things done, then use David as your broker. I have absolutely no hesitancy recommending him to my colleagues, friends and family.

Frankly, Eric and his team at WA First Mortgage absolutely blew us away. Not only was Eric’s attentiveness and responsiveness a major contributing factor to our successful home purchase - but his team facilitated a lightning speed, 16 day close in an extremely competitive and strained market. When the seller’s agent called him to discuss our credentials, and strength - Eric picked up the phone immediately and went to bat for us - which likely made a big difference in our offer being accepted over 8 others. Something I also feel speaks to the kind of service that Eric provides, is that he has the heart of a teacher. He helped my husband and I understand and feel very informed in our first home purchase. I was truly not expecting such a kind and informative broker - but Eric wildly exceeded our expectations. Furthermore - Grant, our Loan Officer/Coordinator was a rockstar. He requested documents and signatures in a clear, and timely manner, as well as responded to our inquiries nearly immediately. We also got the impression that he was a genuinely nice person, which we appreciated. Overall, if I could given our experience a 15/10, I would. Give Eric and his team your business - you won’t regret it.

Awesome rates, low fees and the lowest PMI you can find. BUT as other reviews have stated, our loan officer, Stuart Erickson, was awful. His work was highly erroneous and required us to thoroughly review and request countless corrections throughout. He continually gave timing expectations and missed every one of them. He failed to lock our loan on the day we requested and it will cost us thousands in interest. He had the entire day to lock and simply failed to get to it, despite multiple follow-ups. He promised to make it right by providing a broker credit, which he later retracted and told us unprofessional excuses like "I don't get paid very much" and "I have a 5 kids"...We later found out broker credits are illegal in the state of WA anyway. He used deceptive practices to try to cover up his mistakes, which I'm sure sure worked on other buyers he's worked with - thankfully this isn't our first time and were able to catch all of this. Buyer beware - find another agent to work with!!!

I've had my mortgage through WFM for years and done refinancing as well. The process is always seamless and smooth. Jessica has done a great job of making sure I'm informed through the entire process and always answers my questions quickly and professionally. I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Jeanne was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Upfront, she explained everything in an extremely clear, complete, and fair manner. When we were selecting a specific loan, she was extremely responsive with rates as they changed throughout the day. Finally, when the County threw us a curveball 2 days before closing (ultimately delaying closing by 2 business days / 4 calendar days), she was all over it, making sure everything came together as best it possibly could in the circumstances. And of course the rates we were offered were extremely competitive! I've already referred a friend to Jeanne and look forward to doing so again as the opportunity arises.

Jessica Marshall is the loan officer you want guiding you through the loan process. Smart, strategic, dedicated, and hard-working. She has guided multiple, sometimes complicated, loans through to completion for me any my wife and friends. When conditions change during the loan process, she has been completely on top of it and has saved us major money on numerous occasions. When the going gets tough, she stands up for the client and wades into battle on your behalf. Personable, and a clear and concise communicator. Washington First is lucky to have her.

Laurie Ausmus is THE BEST! She has been my go-to mortgage professional for more than 20 years. I think we are on our 5th loan together, new home loans, re-fi's, the works. When I need a new home loan or to refinance a current loan, she is always the first person I call. Not having spoken in 10 years (I was so thrilled with the great rate she got me that time, as I have always been, I didn't need a new loan), I emailed out of the blue to ask if she was still in the business. Minutes late I got an enthusiastic response and my new loan was on its way. Laurie is someone you can trust. Responsive, professional, timely, and patient (I can be kind of a difficult customer), she is great at what she does. While I am hoping this is my last mortgage (I am getting ready to retire), if in the future (as in the past) I need a loan, she will be the one to whom I turn.

We worked with Seth Milasich from WA First Mortgage twice for our refinance. We have been super happy with him. He got us the best rates both times, and finished very swiftly. One thing of note is that is that his style is slightly unconventional. For instance, in order to swiftly lock the rates some of our information had minor inconsistencies and numbers were slightly higher than promised. This made us worry at first but he assured us that these were just estimates and by the end the correct numbers would be reflected. He walked me through how this was just an acknowledge of receipt (which was confirmed by the wording of the document) and that at the end of the process there is a 3-day rescission period where if I ever felt he hadn't kept his end of the deal we could back out without any consequences. He was correct on all fronts, and both times there were absolutely no errors at the end, numbers were precisely what Seth had promised and it was done in a very timely manner. On top of that, I want to say Seth is very willing to answer any questions at any time, took many phone calls from me and even patiently listened to my desire to open a credit card in the midst of the process and walked me through all possibilities-- something which most lenders would just have ruled out immediately. The main thing I want to reiterate is Seth is a man of his word. I would strongly recommend anyone considering a refinance to go with Seth, and if the rates fall further I will happily use his services a third time too.

Both Don and Todd did a wonderful job. Keeping us informed all along the way. Making sure that we didn't have any questions and we understood what the process and procedures were for our VA loan. I would encourage people to check them out. It would be well worth your time. They are very understanding and will answer any question no matter how small you think it is.

This is my best experience in a refinancing process ever. Jonathan Cruz was very professional and was very prompt in responding when I needed to ask questions. I was impressed how quickly we signed docs and closed on the loan. If all the loan officers in this company are like Jonathan, then this company is a "well oiled machine".
