    If you want the best service and cars go to Wagner Subaru. I have been servicing my car with them for about 6-7 years now. They have the best customer service that is willing to help in any way. When I walk into the doors at Wagner Subaru they make me feel at home. Welcoming me in with smiles and asking what they can do for me!! I recommend Wagner Subaru with 5 stars.     I worked with Chris Lango at the used car and it was the best car buying experience i have ever had. Chris was extremely friendly and helpful. I test drove, got through the buying process very quickly. Chris was so helpful and even recommended local places for us to shop and eat while in town and talked plants with my wife. He even shared some of his clippings with her. I drove 3 hours for my Corolla Hatchback and it was well worth the drive.

    Excellent customer service. I was impressed with the high level of customer service I experience at this dealership. I was debating trading in my '15 Outback for a new '22 model but I am glad I chose this dealership. This was going to be my third Subaru so I knew what I was looking to buy and my cost target, that in turn made the process less time consuming. This dealer is really a no hassle, zero pressure and zero shenanigans. They had the model I wanted, I told them to "wrap it up" and I was on my way. I can definitely recommend this place if you are in the market for a Subaru. I will return here for my next Subaru. Thank you.

    Our purchase experience at Wagner Subaru was extraordinary. Samantha Rader is a dedicated, hard-working, fun, and experienced consultant. She quickly “gets” her customers, and goes above and beyond to meet their needs, without being pushy. This was our third Subaru purchase from Samantha, with our fourth purchase currently on order. We traveled over an hour to see her exclusively, while several other Subaru dealers are closer to our home. Samantha took extra steps to make us feel special upon arrival, and again seemed more excited for our vehicle purchase and delivery than we were. Believe me, we were EXCITED! I have nothing negative to say, nor can I offer any constructive criticism. Our expectations were exceeded, 10 out of 10, best of the best, first class, all the way. Thank you!

    Brandon in the Service Center did a great job coordinating service with limited technical in the shop. He got customers out ahead of their estimated wait time. A gentleman came in with an attitude that his car wasn’t finished sooner when he was 3rd in line in Express Service. He was given a 1.5 hour wait time, and his car was finished in an hour and 15 minutes. Brandon left the service desk to go help the technicians, and he still got flak from this customer. Brandon handled it professionally. Workers and parts are short these days. Customers need to be more patient and understanding of the circumstances.

    I would give Susan 6/5 stars if I could! After a nightmare experience with another dealership, Susan got us a dealer trade for the exact car we wanted at an extremely fair price. She didn't try to upsell us on anything, and we had the whole deal done in about an hour. We will definitely be returning to Wagner Subaru in the future!

    I had a fantastic experience at this dealership. It started with quality, kind, receptive and quick work to address my car’s issue - thank you Brandon and several others. But my real amazement came after a problem arose. No one likes miscommunication and unforeseen challenges, but one came anyway. What has earned my future business at this dealership was Brandon’s insistence to make things right. He reached out on his weekend. Then followed up on Monday to make sure my concerns were addressed and fixed, far beyond what I could have ever expected. He showed dignity, respect and most importantly: INTEGRITY! I will be back!!!

    Came here for service parts, and was helped in a competent and timely fashion! The prices for OEM parts were actually cheaper than parts store offerings, without worrying whether they were actually the correct parts. I'd highly recommend their parts and service departments.

    Called and spoke to Brandon in service regarding a 2019 Ascent with a battery that keeps dying. Of course I checked to see if this was an issue inherent with this year vehicle, and it is. I also saw a lawsuit many owners have filed regarding this issue. I spoke with SOA who was understanding and gave me a voucher for $350 for a diagnostic to be performed. Brandon stated it could take an hour or so or up to 10-20/hrs depending on the issue, then states it’s over $100/hr which I’d be responsible for. I mentioned wanting to get it looked at before trying to sell this non- working vehicle, to which he stated to just sell it. The conversation truly lacked the professionalism someone who’s been working service for 15 years as he told me and honestly soured my opinion of this dealership. I’d say NO to Subaru in the future for repairs or a repeat purchase.

    Pretty great experience. Fast and efficient. No hassle sale with straight-forward approach. I easily went through the financing with Will and highly recommend the experience to those looking for a Subaru. Costco discount was a wonderful additional saving.     Wagner Subaru, has made this my best new car buying experience! My partner owned a 2004 Impreza when we met. We traded it in for my 2022 Impreza which we ordered in early November 2021. My new Impreza was at Wagner, ready to be pick up on December 27 2021, much earlier than we expected. My experience with Wagner's service on my partners Impreza is what really sold me. By far the best experience of car ownership I have ever experienced. I love my pretty 2022 blue Impreza five door, it's everything I want or need in a car and Wagner Subaru, is the biggest reason my new car buying decision: My past service experience with them made it so easy. Service I can count on is most important part of a car in the long run.

    Fantastic customer service! I recently moved here and had issues with a slow leak in my tires. I had previously taken it to another dealership and was told nothing was wrong. Wagner found the issue quickly through Express Lane and was able to fix it the same day. The communication I received regarding my car, as well as the customer service experience, was above and beyond what I expected. I will for sure be using this location for my routine care going forward, even though it is a bit of a distance from my house. Thank you!

    This has been the best experience in buying a car for us. I had been to other dealers including some Subaru dealers and I wish now I had found this place first. Samantha Reader was our sales person and was really outstanding. A 12 on a scale from 1 to 10. She was very patient and kind in explaining the features and functions of the vehicles. I would definitely recommend her. We purchased the Subaru outback. If it can live up to its billing then Subaru as well as the dealer will get 5 stars. We try to take great care of our vehicles so I think we will be fine. Good luck on your next purchase and definitely give Wagner Subaru a try.

    Easily a 5-star “service” dealership, but the wagner subaru online parts department is 3-stars at best, and it purely comes down to money. “Subaru parts wholesale” and “Subaru of Dayton” automatically provide a deep dealer discount (31%) whereas “Wagner Subaru” Parts Online just charges MSRP. Not even gonna bother asking… assume I’ll get a “supply and demand” kind of answer, where in reality it’s more like price gouging aka “not reasonable or fair.” For context, I’ve been rebuilding my front end and happened to notice this as I’ve been ordering some parts right through the dealer.

    5/5 stars for a great sales experience with Will and a vehicle that I LOVE. 5/5 for every time I have had to take my vehicle in for service, or had to call service with a silly question (how do I change kPa to psi?) and only ever being met with support and patience. And now I can add a solid 5+/5 for going above and beyond my customer experience. I was in a rush and locked myself out with keys sitting on my chair and my closest ride being 45+ minutes out.     We came to Wagner Subaru to look at options for new and used Outback’s and Shawn helped us understand the differences in the options available. He was extremely helpful in comparing the vehicles we were looking at and even sent us home with information on the different trim levels we were considering. When time came to come back and make our purchase, Shawn went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we wanted and even made a dealer trade to get us the options we preferred. We really appreciated our buying experience at Wagner; we never felt pressured to buy before we were ready and we got a great deal on a new Outback without having to haggle. Definitely the best deals on Subarus in the area plus a wonderful buying experience!

    Hands down the best car dealership experience I've had. We worked with Lee, and throughout the process he was honest and upfront with us, without any high pressure sales tactics. The fact that you only work with one person throughout the process makes the whole experience a million times better as well. No finance manager trying to pressure you into products you don't need. In the end, we purchased a 2020 Outback, and have been very happy with out purchase. If you are in the market for a Subaru, I couldn't recommend Wagner enough.

    I was traveling from Western NY to Indiana to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. My brake lights were on and my cruise control disabled. I looked up the nearest Subaru and ended up at Wagner Subaru.     I left a subaru dealership angry due to up selling and outrages prices. I went to Wagner Subaru as a walk in. Wagner Subaru accepted the walk in and completed the work quickly charging less than half price of the first dealerships price. Professional staff and great customer service. Don't just trust my opinion, please try them and see!

    Loved our experience at Wagner Subaru. You only deal with one person through the whole process which is SO much better than jumping from salesman to finance guy. Our one Guy, Lee Blantzy was great. Nothing felt hidden, no pressure, just a great overall experience. This was not the closest Subaru dealership but it is definitely the one we will always go to. Highly recommend.

    Lee was a great salesperson. But when issues and questions came up, managers were nowhere on site because they were on 2 hour lunches. It took two days before Lee could get back to me on one question (no fault of his). I recently took my car in for a recall. When it was finished, the interior of the car smelled like gas for a few days and things I had stacked neatly behind the driver seat were messily tossed behind the driver seat. Also, when I had the recall completed, I had them perform an oil change. Apparently the oil change was part of a package (which is fine) that included a tire rotation. I told the guy who checked me in I didn't want the tires rotated because I had just had them done by someone else. When I got the car back, they were rotated anyway. I'm glad most everyone else had a good experience. I didn't and couldn't recommend buying (due to management) or servicing my car at this location. The few car sales people I interacted with were amazing. 5 stars to them.

    After contacting multiple Subaru dealers in the Cincinnati/Columbus/Dayton region, Greg at Wagner had the exact Outback we were searching for delivered from out of state. Even after delivery, I never felt pressured to buy or rushed like I did at the other dealers. He even arranged for a wireless charger to be installed and the service department was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend Wagner Subaru. (And so far we love our 2020 Outback!)

    I will never buy a car anywhere else. All the things you dread about car shopping quite literally don't happen here. You are treated with respect and free to make your own choices. Staff are super super super friendly and attentive. (Yes it was necessary to write 3 supers!) From service to sales, they have never let me down. My only regret is that someday I want to leave this frigid weather, and I will have been so spoiled by this dealership, that I will probably have to travel back to Ohio just to buy my vehicles :) I will also mention that the first time I purchased from this dealership, my credit was in rough shape. I was never made to feel judged or looked down on AT ALL. Lastly, I wanted it to be known that the service doesn't stop after you have made your purchase. I had the unfortunate experience of having a deer strike on my brand new Outback. The dealership voluntarily took the role of partner with me on the endeavor to either get another vehicle, or get it repaired. They didn't have to do any of this, but it made things so much easier! The feeling of trashing a brand new car is one that I wouldn't wish on anyone, and Wagner's help really took a lot of the sting out. If Google would let me give 6 stars, I would!

    This dealer is top notch. We just purchased our 6th Subaru from this dealership over a span of three decades. Everyone we have dealt with has been extremely professional while at the same time treating customers more like friends. The staff is very familiar with the vehicles, options, and accessories, and strives to provide exactly what you need with no hassle or pressure. Wagner is not the closest Subaru dealership to us but is worth the extra drive.

    I love this place. We bought our Outback here last year and the experience of buying the car was awesome. So easy. I took it in today for an oil change and a low tire pressure light after running over something on the highway. They took care of it right away and I was in and out quickly. Can’t say much has been easy in life lately, so I couldn’t appreciate the quick and thorough service more! I will always recommend this place ! Thank you!

    Brian became our hero a couple months ago when got towed to Wagner Subaru after getting stranded on the highway a few hours from home. He had the tow truck pull around back, and took a look at our car immediately. Based on our description of what had happened, he predicted our problem and immediately got it on a lift and confirmed. We had just had our car serviced by our home mechanic as part of the recommended 100,000 mile maintenance, but a mistake had been made and left the front differential bone-dry (leaving us needing a new transmission). Brian and the Wagner team hosted my wife and I for upwards of 5 hours as we weighed our options and spent time on the phone with our mechanic and insurance. Brian helped us think through our options and set our expectations for next steps, and he also spoke with our mechanic directly on the phone to advocate for us and to insist that his diagnosis indicated the mechanic was responsible. As a kind gesture to us for what we'd been through, Brian asked us to simply deliver the inspection invoice to our mechanic and have them pay (we would have gladly paid and sought reimbursement from our mechanic later, but Brian kindly bypassed that hassle for us). The invoice remained open for over 2 months as we still had not received our car back from our mechanic and taken care of all the paperwork, but Brian and the Wagner team were patient and understanding and allowed it remain open until we had our car back (we delivered the invoice to our mechanic while taking care of all the other paperwork at that time). We truly cannot say enough good things about Brian and this staff. It was a silver lining that we good to bump into such good people. We give them 10 stars on a scale of 5. I think my wife wants to move to Fairborn so we can entrust our Outback to them full-time ;)

    This is a review for the service department. They broke off a wheel stud while rotating tires. Didn’t charge for labor, but charged for a new lug nut and wheel stud. The car is a 2021 with only 12,000 miles and still under warranty. They were the last ones that rotated my tires 6,000 miles ago and just said it’s really common in Subarus and won’t be covered. They had also charged my friend for scheduled maintenance when she had already purchased a prepaid maintenance plan (saw the receipts myself). The sales department was great though, and my purchase in 2020 was smooth.

    Everyone working there has such a pleasant disposition. I love how the sales people aren't there to sell you a car like a normal salesperson. They're there to help you make a big financial decision. They don't pressure you and make sure you're well informed before you make your final decision. When you go through the buying process they walk you through everything and make sure you know what you're getting into. For a first time car buyer this was an experience I wouldn't take back. Also the Subaru is an amazing experience to drive and being able to be a part of what "make a subaru a subaru" is awesome. I never understood that phrase but now that I have dove into the culture it's amazing!

    My shopping experience and initial days were good until I started having battery issues everytime I go on a trip for a week..There are several several lawsuits on this issue and the service representative blamed the issue on me saying I don't drive enough. I have driven only 13000 miles in 2 years. Such a lame excuse. Please avoid Subaru Outback at all costs. Their battery and terminal have frequent issues and the service team is too proud to acknowledge it.

    My forester gave out on 675. After limping into Wagner I went inside to ask someone to check it out. Brandon was more than willing to take time out of his busy day to come take a look it for me. Luckily, it was a simple fix, and within ten minutes I was back on the road. He explained to me why it happened and how to fix it. I will now be taking my car in for service at Wagner for everything in the future. Thanks Brandon!

    Even though I came and went kicking and screaming about my 2016 subarus transmission having to be replaced at 106k miles ….. Brandon was super professional and did his best to help me find resources to help with the situation. I ended spending over $9000 between the transmission replaced and the 120kmile check up. I was able to get $2000 off from Subaru support line- it wasn’t much in comparison, but it helped. I am still super upset about how this surprise costs me . I drove out of my way to come here as opposed to the Subaru of Dayton location. The staff at Fairborn are kinder, much less aggressive , honest and down to earth. They worked well with me through a super high stress situation and even loaned me a car while the service was done so I didn’t miss work. The Dayton location was also $1000 more in price for the service. 10/10 I will only go to Fairborn for major car issues.

    It was cool seeing the WRX inside but what sucked was wasting gas to go out there to drive a BRZ they told me wasn't there. I got the message as soon as I pulled in too. I didn't have these issues at Jeff Schmitt dealers.

    Was forced to pay 2,500 dollars over msrp for a wrx base trim, the only other one in ohio at the time was in Cleveland last year. Bought my first new car and was ripped off, paying almost half the msrp up front. Dont come here.

    I have never had a more pleasurable car buying experience. Both Mike and Susan were superb. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient and straightforward. Susan took plenty of time explaining the Forester's features to Nanci. (pictured) Wish every car dealer did business the way that Wagner Subaru did. We drove past three other Subaru dealers to buy our Forester at Wagner, including a local place where we had purchased our two prior Foresters. Glad that firm wanted to play hardball over minor price differences (including charging more than the suggested price for the extended warranty) as if they had not, my wife and I would not have gone to Wagner. All I can say is wow! If you need a Subaru, new or used, at a fair price where you don't feel taken advantage of after the purchase, give them a call and take the trip.

    I purchased my car at Wagner Subaru and continue to send friends there because of their excellent service and sales staff in addition to their support of community efforts. While I know a little bit about cars, I know I can trust the service department to keep my car in tip-top shape. The staff are friendly and do a great job of making sure they warn of upcoming problems or maintenance needs whenever possible. I'll never shop anywhere else for a car.

    This dealership is the best place for car buyers. They are very fair and upfront from the beginning. They after purchase service is absolutely wonderful. There is no pushing to buy parts and service that you don't need. I am amazed how fast and efficient that the service is. They are always nice to work with.

    I dealt with Greg via email and he was very responsive to any questions I had. Since the deal was already agreed on via email, my total time at the dealership was under one hour, which was nice (the majority of that time was in transferring the plates, since they were rusted on my old car). I did not finance the purchase, but it was nice to know that if I did, Greg would have taken care of all the financing work, instead of being passed off to someone else. I got a pretty fair deal and was happy with it. Thanks!

    Purchased 2020 Outback before COVID 19 hit. The staff at Wagner are simply the best from sales to maintenance. I will NEVER purchase any other type of vehicle. We LOVE our Outback. I'm 6'6" and can fit into our Outback better than our Dodge Durango.

    The best experience I've ever had buying a car! We purchased a 2017 Crosstrek in November of 2016 from Wagner Subaru from the salesperson, Robyn Zimmann. She made this one of the most stress free experiences ever. They had the exact version of the Crosstrek (Metallic Black with Black Leather Interior) that we wanted in stock and were super helpful getting us set up. Robyn was very friendly and laid back and did not try to pressure us into buying anything extra. She also took the time to show us how all of the technology inside the car worked. Recently we tried to use a coupon that had expired a few days earlier and the Sales Manager, Mike Reed, made a huge exception for us and still allowed us to use the coupon to purchase a roof cargo carrier for the vehicle. I am a small business owner in the Dayton area and I've already recommended Wagner Subaru to many of my clients, friends, and family (my family owns a total of 6 Subarus), and would highly recommend you stop in and check out what they have to offer.     I am officially a Wagner Subaru customer for life. Will is by far the most amazing salesman I have ever dealt with. He showed so much patience with me as I test drove a few cars and asked a million questions. The way this company operates and handles everything in house is fantastic. All employees were friendly, place was clean and lots of selection. Trust me.... I know.... I think I drove them all. Settled on the 2019 Forester and it’s awesome! Still waiting to hit that prime MPG but overall it’s great! Thank you Will for being so great. I forgot to come back on here a few months ago to say that I wasn’t kidding when I said I was a Wagner Subaru customer for life. In June I ended up purchasing a new Legacy from Shae (sorry if I didn’t spell that right dude) and I am so in love with this car. The Forester is still amazing but I love having a sedan as well.     Staff advised the needed repairs and gave a good explanation of what seemed to be the problem and needing resolution. Service writer was good at explaining the cause of the noise and how the system would be repaired. He asked for additional input from me to be sure he heard the same noise that concerned me.

    Our lease on previous Subaru was almost due and we were dreading going back to the Byers group after some negative experiences on other deals. After hearing so many good things about Wagner’s Subaru we decided to give them a try. Our sales person, Susan Staley, is about the nicest person you could ever encounter and made our transition to a new lease during the pandemic a safe and pleasant experience. Wagner’s Subaru is the real deal - no pressure - no gimmicks - just a fair price. We were able to make the deal over email/phone then sign papers and pickup our new vehicle by appointment. We were done well within an hour, easily; while Wagner’s Subaru has made the environment as safe as possible for its customers and employees during the pandemic. I wish Subaru made a vehicle that could tow our Airstream or Wagner also sold a truck brand because I honestly do not want to go anywhere else to buy another vehicle. If you want a Subaru go here regardless of the drive because the deal will be fair and you will easily make up for the travel time by their efficient sales process.

    Most disgusting behavior I have ever seen. They quoted over $1000 for a key replacement. Then we found a locksmith who was able to do it for $300. Knowing that they will not be working on the car they disconnected all the wiring underneath the seat so the locksmith is not able to program the new key and they hoped we would crawl back to them. Lucky we found the lost key and figured out the wiring was all disconnected. This was all done to a 16 teenage kid who knows nothing about cars. What a shame. The service team was rude and unprofessional right off the bat. Take your business somewhere with integrity.

    Hello Ron. Thanks for taking time to write a review! The price you were quoted was directly from Subaru of America regarding replacing/reprogramming keys on a vehicle with a "salvage" title. Parts and labor were quoted per the job required by the factory, not based on what a locksmith would charge. We did not at any time bring the car into the shop or perform any work on it, let alone order any keys or parts. The vehicle was left in the exact same spot that the tow-truck driver dropped it when it was brought in. We would be happy to show you the security camera footage if you would like. At Wagner Subaru we make every effort to treat our customers the way we would want to be treated by someone else.

    I highly recommend this Subaru location! The customer care, friendliness of staff, and efficient service department at Wagner Subaru could not be more excellent. I recognized there is something special about this specific Subaru location from the first time I visited, which is why they have earned my loyal business ever since. I now exclusively service my Subaru at Wagner even if it means traveling farther. I think what really makes Wagner exceptional is that their operational culture/atmosphere is consistently professional, proficient, and kind. This is especially true of Loren and the rest of the Service Team, as they always surpass my expectations. Loren and the nice gal always stationed at the service desk (I forget her name, sorry!) are extremely kind and helpful and have always provided a fantastic experience.     "Yours was the 4th dealership that we came to. On the ride over I was telling my husband that I could set up a dealership more user-friendly than those three we just visited. Then, we pulled up to your lot: Visitor parking was right in front and clearly marked, the inside was clean, easy to navigate and welcoming. We were greeted very warmly and I immediately got the feeling that Greg cared about why I was there. He listened to what I wanted, answered my questions and accommodated my test drive of two cars. No decision was made that day and when we came back, on Greg's day off, another associate took care of us like we were his customer and he knew we were Greg's. Nice teamwork!     I've been here multiple times for maintenance, oil changes, and more. Brian and his team are an amazing group of people that have your best interest in mind. Even the service techs are friendly and helpful with any random questions you may have. I have had awful experiences with different Subaru dealerships in the past but this location definitely makes up for the bad ones. I recently had major service completed and they did a bunch of work I asked them to not do. Luckily didn't have to pay for it. Also, they rotated my new wheels and tires and cracked one of my $300 wheels in two spots. I will now rotate my tires myself, since little care was taken when rotating mine.
