    I was shocked when, after being a member for only a short time, I walked into the bank and Christine, a teller, called me by name. She and the other tellers have only continued to be as personal, genuinely engaging and helpful since then. The entire customer experience has been above expectations, and the other aspects of banking - online and mobile - has been just as pleasant. On top of it all, when I have visited other branches, I have found their customer engagement to be just as consistent.

    I’m a member who was parked in the lot waiting for my wife to get dog food. I got majorly Karened by a lady who stomped out. Yikes. Closing my account.

    The girls at Washington Federal are super helpful in any situation and very understanding! As a business owner I would recommend any and everyone to use this bank. They have been nothing but delightful since I started banking there.

    What can I say, it feels like a private banking experience. WAFD Sandpoint staff knows there customers by name, and i've received calls regarding potential issues with my account. What I like especially is the fact that I can call the branch and actually speak to one of the staff by name, be recognized, and not get sent into an automated rabbit hole of verbal selections or keypad prompts. Always friendly and smiling. T

    Even though I can now do banking from my phone, I prefer to come in and conduct in-person banking with the wonderful staff of Washington Federal in Sandpoint. They always know my name. Everyone is always friendly. And...they have M and M cookies!

    Washington Federal Bank is one of the best banks I have ever used! You rarely have to wait in line and if you are a known customer they don't require deposit slips. Their customer service is outstanding. Christine one of the tellers is fantastic at her job. She always smiles and greets you by name when you come in and makes you feel welcome and at home! I recently started a construction loan process with this bank and they have made it very easy and respond very quickly to all of my questions . Also they are one of the few banks that allow a builder owner construction loan. I love this bank! If you are thinking of opening an account here definitely do it!!!

    Truly love this bank. The staff is so friendly and inviting. I just walk on up and don’t have to fill out any slips. Never takes long. Has a warm, even fun atmosphere, which is kind of refreshing for a bank. Christine and the staff are always so welcoming. Best bank I’ve banked at without a doubt.

    We were originally with First Mutual Bank. It was changed to Washington Federal. We could not be happier with this branch. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent service. I could bank online but I like to go in at least once a month to make deposits just so I can chat with them.
