    I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to bank with WAFD. This was the best experience EVER. I was fed up with Chase bank sending me up, down and around just to open an account for my teenager but Simon made it so easy and walked us through the process. Simon continued to help even after the opening of the account was completed. The entire staff were respectful, very very kind and helpful. Simon is the best! Sandra is awesome! You all are a delight to be around. I appreciate your help and the treatment and respect you all showed my youngest son. If I could give ten stars I would.

    I switched to this bank from Wells Fargo over a year ago and have never looked back. I don't go in very often but when I do they remember my name and always greet me. That goes a long way with me. Have had no issues at all.

    If you don’t read the whole review, BANK HERE! I do deposits for work once a week, along with my 3yo daughter. The employees are very nice, respectful, professional and dedicated to helping their customers. My daughter loves getting a lollipop when we get there too, lol. She also knows the bankers by name now. WaFd has treated us like family every time we go in, so much I opened my own checking account here. I’m currently with Chase. After losing both jobs due to the pandemic, I noticed a monthly $12 charge. My job that came back doesn’t have direct deposit so I still get the charge. WaFd has a free checking account. They have another checking account for $6 a month that comes with tons of benefits! You can keep your zelle too. I’ve heard lots of companies call their customers family. I haven’t heard it from WaFd, I just see it from them every time I’m there. I found out there’s another location much closer to home, same professionalism, but my daughter loves the bankers here and it’s definitely worth the trip.

    If I could leave negative stars I would. I have been banking with WAFED for over 3 years now. I opened my account at this branch, and have never have a good encounter with them, either In store or over the phone. After my first couple visits to this branch, I started going to the branch on grant road. (Highly highly recommend the grant branch) The women who work at this broadway branch, never seem to want to do their jobs, nor are they helpful in any way and usually give major attitude, it’s uncomfortable just walking in. manager there currently Carri, is by far the rudest of them all. I have since changed my “My Branch” so that I never have to deal with these women again. Save yourself the frustration, and drive to another location.

    Since day one, everyone has been so good to me. Janie Perez is who took the lead for my loan and account, but it was teamwork, everyone didn’t hesitate to assist. They dignified me, at the time I had been released from the hospital, they worked tirelessly and I will never forget their genuine concern and they continue to update and offer suggestions to make things better. I highly recommend this branch, thank you very much:)
