This is the fourth home we have purchased over the years and I wish we had known such amazing people were out there to help with the first three. Tony and Shawn made buying a home several states away so easy. They were always ready to answer the many questions and concerns I had and did so with such grace and even humor. After our first call our point of contact locked us into a low interest rate while we decide if refinancing was what we wanted. The professionalism is top notch. Even the statements are so much more understandable then our former big bank mortgage. They also found a better interest rate for our HELOC.

Awful experience. Extremely unprofessional. Derrick never communicates. In fact, I never even spoke to him over the phone. He sent 2 emails to me total. You will only speak to his team. He never locked my loan in my loan and his team did not disclose that. After 3 months, he had his associate call me to tell me they can't do my loan. Never once was I told there was an issue until 2.5 months of waiting. I asked to speak to him personally multiple times and he never once called. My loan was not that hard either. I have an excellent credit score and the loan to value is 52%. I switched to Nick Tilley at Fairway Mortgage. My loan was locked in from day 1 and closed in 40 days. I heard personally from Nick every week. I spoke with Derrick's colleague at Summit Funding in another state and he was embarrassed. He said he would never recommend Derrick again.
