    I recently noticed that the interest rate the credit union pays on the "Investment Savings" account was significantly less on a account that I oversee for an elderly family member. It was my failure in due diligence to have not been on top of this change and to only notice it at tax time, but when I sent an online message to Volt asking what their current rates were, I never received a response. It's like calling a business and they never answer the phone. When this account was first created, with the minimum dollar amount to qualify for investment savings, it included no charge online bill pay. Volt later rescinded that feature and started to charge for bill pay. They should have grandfathered the accounts that had no charge bill pay, but they didn't. We stopped using their bill pay service. Also, it took way too long for the payment to be delivered. Their app seems to work pretty good though...........

    I want to like it.......I really do. Still relatively new with them, but the debit cards don't have tap capability, or customizations available. No cash deposits accepted at the ATM. Super friendly people.

    Have used this credit union many years. The names may change, but the service never does! Hands down the best credit union or bank we've had over 42 years!

    Customer service can be a bit iffy depending on who it is that day. The app is awful and here lately I can't even sign in. I really love using credit unions over banks but this is a bit too lack-luster for me. Keeping it for now due to the convenience.

    Shelby, sorry you are having issues with the app. Have you tried change your password to see if that is why you are locked out. If you call in we can typically get it working for you! As far as the iffy service that you have received, do you have any recommendations for us on how we can be better? We are constantly trying to get better, so negative feedback is great if we can understand the problem behind it. Once again, sorry that we haven't met expectations yet, but with a little guidance we know we can!

    I started at this Credit union when it was Mid America Dairy. I will continue to stay. Only one bad experience it was when they first opened the new Republic Rd. location. At the Drive thru

    What's that old saying, location, location, location! The credit union experience is something you wouldn't understand until you join one. Friendly staff, great rates and a beautiful new facility- what's not to like!

    Very nice facility. Offer very competitive loan and deposit rates. The staff could use some coaching In customer service... I had applied for a loan and was called several times for information that was on my application. When I had mentioned rate shopping, the conversation turned cold, almost like they were pushing me to the other institution. Almost as to make it personal.

    I don't typically write reviews, but I wanted to take the time for it for this company. The customer service is always above and beyond. Each and every time I am in contact with them, the experience is great. Everyone should use them as a credit union!

    Been here over 30 years, been in my house for 24, and at my job for 20; yet I need references for a car loan...you know..."in case I skip town". Not to mention they were going to charge me about 9 percent interest. This place is a joke now.

We want to ensure you that we were not trying to single you out by asking for references, this is just a part of our loan application process. These references are not cosigners on the loan and do not have any responsibility for the debt if something were to go wrong. We may not even call them. The reason we do this is because we can't always get the full story from a credit report. Sometimes we can look at a credit report and see that someone hit a rough patch at one point that would typically cause us to decline the loan. Calling a reference can gives us the ability to overturn that decision because we get a greater look at the full picture. As far as rates go, there are multiple factors that determine our rates, but this is standard across the board for everyone. The main factors are 1.)Year of the vehicle 2.)Term of the loan 3.)Credit score.
