Kamalani was very knowledgeable and helpful with our moving in process! She went out of her way to make sure it was an easy process for me and my husband. She was honest about all of the ups and downs about staying at Royal Kunia. We appreciate her dedication in making this place a home, by showing us around and being so kind! We love our apartment so far and have no complaints!

BIG shout out to Marcia Hall for everything she did to go above and beyond helping us move into our new home. The process was complicated but she stuck by us every step of the way. For the executives reading this, you are LUCKY to have her on your team! The administrative staff and facilities management are INCREDIBLE and respond IMMEDIATELY to help us. We have issues with broken ceiling fans, malfunctioning dryer, pest removal, and glitches in the rental payment portal. They fixed them ALL right away and were nothing but kind and polite and professional the whole time. To anyone complaining about living here, remember KINDNESS goes a long way. One last thing about the bugs: NEVER put food on the counter unsealed. NEVER leave dirty dishes lying around, or drains unplugged. Get Adams Bug spray and carpet powder. Non toxic for humans / pets and kills everything, including roaches, instantly and lasts up to two weeks. Spray it on your carpet, linens, sheets, and countertops. And for goodness sake, cut these people some slack, their job is NOT easy catering to our every needs. If you want anything better, then go drop 2 million dollars to live in a 400 square foot condo in Waikiki with drunk tourists puking and shouting outside your door 24/7. Thank you Marcia and Stacie and Veronica and Kevin!

We just PCSed to Hawaii and Marcia Hall and Kamalani were such a huge help with getting our apartment and lease signed in time before our hotel stay was up. The original apartment we wanted to apply for got taken so quick but Marcia showed us what was available and helped us choose the apartment we actually wanted. The process was very quick and easy and our apartment was very clean upon move in. Would definitely recommend!

Moving to Hawaii soon and looking for a place has been stressful but Marcia Hall Has been amazing From the beginning. The communication and fast response has been great and not to mention how helpful and resourceful she has been through this process and continues to be. we really appreciate it Marcia.

Villas at Royal Kunia is my first place to live on my own with my kids and we love it. Whenever you need something fixed or changed, its done either that same day or the next. Overall awesome place to live!

I'm rating based on my own personal experience. I understand there have been several reviews talking about pest; the truth is pest control is free weekly, you just have to schedule, and maybe because I'm in phase one and also on the second floor; but I have had no issues. The place was very clean when I moved in and the layout was exactly as stated. This place is incredibly spacious and quiet. Thes A/C units are pretty loud but block out any noise from outside if there is any. The sun give so much sunlight into my unit. I have a view of the ocean and Honolulu as well. The carpet is nice, clean, and super soft and cozy. The location of the place is fantastic and the landscaping of the surrounding area is perfect with well maintained sidewalks. There was a recent(ish) change of management and I can see them repainting and cleaning up the place. So many of the bad reviews do seem to be older. Marcia and others were very quick with the application and lease.

So far, I've encountered more problems with this property than benefits. The leasing staff misinformed us regarding the layout and flooring configuration. The paperwork that they drafted for our lease was inaccurate and had to be sent back multiple times. The date that we had originally communicated to management for move-in was not withheld, and the agent had to write an addendum because the offer that they gave us for move-in was not accepted by the owner of the property. The leasing agent misinformed us about the first payment prior to move in, and we had to make multiple trips to get more cashier's checks. Quality of the complex is okay. There are at least 5 stray cats that hang out around our building. The grounds around our building are trashy, and smell like cat urine. There is duct tape and empty drink cans littered outside our unit, in a bush. Parking is extremely strict. Unless your vehicle is registered with the office, if you have an extra vehicle, you must buy nightly parking passes, or your auto will be towed without notification. Pests have been an extreme issue here. In our first week of residence, we have had centipedes, cockroaches, and mud daubers enter our house, windows shut. Overall, I feel used by this place. There is too much of a rush to fulfill vacancies, and no attention to detail is given to the major details during the process.

My friend& I have been looking for an apartment recently. We saw a listing on line for a 2 bed&2 bath apartment. We immediately requested a tour. Marcia Hall was very fast with her response and eager to help. We schdueled out tour fast and without any trouble. The tour was welcoming and clean. Marcia was informative& answering any questions we had. It was a amazing place. Without her, we wouldn't have been able to take a step in the right direction.

Kamalani was and is our leasing agent, she’s awesome first off. She’s very helpful and patient! She’s a family person and loves children (that I have 4 kids under the age of 18). She’s the best!

ATTENTION TO ALL FUTURE MILITARY FAMILY! I Highly recommend you all to TOUR THE UNIT that is given to you BEFORE SIGNING THE LEASE. Also BEWARE OF THE COCKROACHES INFESTATION OF THIS PLACE. The Unit tour that the leasing agent show looks presentable . However yours might not.
