Was very happy with the experience I had at Village Toyota in Homosassa. I had considered going out of town to purchase a vehicle, but I really wanted to "keep it local". I was interested in a used vehicle that was on the lot and Brittany was the one who came out and assisted me and let me take a test drive. I did take a couple of days to consider my options, but she did make contact with me again to see if I had any concerns or questions. I was happy that there was no pressure, and I did decide to purchase the vehicle. After the sale, Clayton made sure that all "T"s were crossed, and everything was in order. I appreciated how friendly they both were, and their willingness to help however they could. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle!

Had a wonderful experience with Village Toyota. Found that perfect car for my son on Autotrader. From start to finish the staff was incredible. Being 240 miles away, Don offered to do a FaceTime for us which was great and we did all the paperwork electronically which saved a lot of time when we got there to pick up the car. Garret Ferguson in sales did an amazing job! We were late to an appointment at another dealership close by and decided just to drive in and look and he came out and promised he was able to put us in a nicer vehicle with lower payments and better warranty. And he quickly kept his word! I’ve been through the car buying experience plenty of times with my late husband with dealerships across the country but this was by far the best service and buying process I’ve ever experienced. Paul helped me with my 2021 Rav4 Hybrid. It ended up having a computer update issue which drained the battery even when the vehicle was turned off, and so he squeezed me in to their service center, despite a clearly overbooked day. I'm so grateful for their service at Village Toyota and I plan on going to them for all my car maintenance. They're professional, courteous, and eager to educate. I have gone to several dealerships and usually have a good experience when I bring my Tacoma in for service. However, this was the best by far. In a market with market adjustments and outrageous additional prices, I've found out that service and cooperation is also on a shortage along with new cars. However, that was not the case when I worked with Joshua at Village Toyota. I had no plans to stop by that day but I'm quite lucky I did. He was very upfront with the pricing, explaining all the additional numbers, add-ons and so forth. And most importantly, he was willing to work with me into reaching a number that would be reasonable for myself and for them. He was knowledgeable of the car, and absolutely accommodating during the entire process. I would recommend him anytime and I expect myself to make the extra drive over the next time I ever need to purchase another vehicle.

My car was brand new and had an issue. They addressed it IMMEDIATELY; unfortunately the part was on back order and it could be up to a month. The team put me in a rental until it was ready. It was much quicker than a month which I was dreading and DeVoe Fairchild was even excited to call me to come get my car!!!

We recently bought a truck a couple of months ago. We took it for service this past Wednesday since our car was on recall and needed something else, even though it only has 2k miles. We got there early in the morning around 10.30am and were there until 6 pm. It worked well because I ended up trading one of my cars (not the truck) for another one. Laura, the sales person, was excellent and went above and beyond. Finally the guy from the service team comes and tells us what happened to the truck and let’s us know that the truck needs to stay overnight. First, he did not offer a temporary car so that we could get back home and be able to work the next day, and then after having to find him and ask for a temporary car he makes us sign some paperwork and while not explaining anything. Granted is our fault for not reading the documents but also he is the profesional. A couple of days pass and finally he calls us to let us know the truck is ready and then after we reached out and told him that we were not going to be able to pick up our truck until the following week because our work hours he has the audacity to tell us that that is not his problem, that our personal issues are not his problems and they are gonna charge us for the rental car. When we told him that we were under the impression that the rental car was cover under the warranty he says that was also our problem for signing a paper and not reading. And last but not least, he dared say he did not believe my partner had texted him and instead was me just because the English in the text message was better. I had to tell him I was translating. I don’t see why he even cares if someone is helping another person translate or if the client uses Google translate. His name is Earl and at least we us we was the worst possible person, he literary told us he doesn’t care about weather we are having problems dropping of the car because when we get there they are close, he also was trying ti makes us feel inferior because my partners English is not perfect. Earl, I hope no one treats your family the way you have treated us. I understand you don’t care about us and you probably dislike us because of your own racial, or religious beliefs, but you just don’t treat people like that. You also need to explain to people what you are making them sign for or at least be nice about it. We are never, never coming back to this place just so that we are treated that way again.

Took my wifes car in for normal maintenance and my service agent David was excellent. I had forgot when my appt was fooor my Tundra, David looked it up and also noticed there was a recall on my truck for the headlights. He went to the parts dept adivsed that I needed parts for recall and made sure that when I came in the next three weeks for service they would reserve the parts. David has been great the past 10 years we worked with him and Village Toyota.

Just purchased a Corolla Cross and the sales experience was very good. Salesman Mark Arvya was patient (Due to the chip shortages, etc. it took 5 months for delivery of my Cross) and helpful during the ordering and delivery process. There was no high pressure selling, no markups, addons, etc. This is unusual as many dealers are marking up cars way above MSRP.

I began my search for a new 4Runner several months ago and sadly ran into many disappointing dealership experiences. Unfortunately in today's environment inventory is lacking and most dealers have taken it upon themselves to price gouge the consumer looking to purchase. I am proud to say Village Toyota is not one of those predatory dealerships. Working with Chris Reckline (sales) and Pam Mills (general manager) was exceptionally easy. The hardest part was the wait which of course they had no control over. I paid full sticker which I expected but they gave me a fair offer for my trade in. I drove over an hour to get to this dealership and it was well worth the drive. They are so easy to deal with, they even offered to deliver it to me to save the drive but I declined because I wanted to enjoy the nice long drive home in my new purchase! Great online shopping experience. Purchased the car with complete confidence and satisfaction. It started with salesperson Ashley Kemp reaching out to my wife and I and giving us an update on the availability of the car we were interested in and to see if we had any specific questions that needed to be addressed. This was followed by salesperson Laura Pozo offering to give us a virtual tour of the car. Both Ashley and Laura were very helpful in setting up a Zoom connection. Laura gave us a walk-around the exterior of the car, asking if we had any question along the walk. She then gave a thorough tour of the interior. After the virtual tour, Laura asked if we liked the car and if we wanted to proceed with the purchasing process, and after we agreed, she got together with the sales team to prepare the quote. Sales manager, Don Fortier, was then available and helped answering any questions about the quote and the negotiation process. After reaching an agreement with the purchase price of the car, Brian Jennette, the finance manager, put together the financial documents and was very helpful in answering any questions that we had as well as helping with explaining the wire transfer process. To our total satisfaction, this completed the entire purchasing process, completely online. Then Don made sure that the documents, temporary plates, and the car were ready to be transported to us, in Ohio. Went in for scheduled maintenance to my surprise the advisor came over with a dirty air and cabin filters and said they should really be replaced at a cost of about $100. I told my wife to politely declined as I had previously replaced them with k&n filters. The dirty ones he showed me were not from our car. As we waited we watched the service advisor run the same scam on other customers. To me this is so dishonest I hate dealerships that play these games and wouldn’t recommend doing business with them.

I limped into Village Toyota with a busted water pump on my 2012 Ford F150 I got assistance from Cheyenne Phelps (her card says Cheyenne Taveras) she worked up a work order to replace my water pump. Got my approval and got the work started. My experience at Village Toyota has been extremely negative, I will most likely not be a customer anytime soon. The Pros: -Mike Ketcham was an incredible car salesman. He stayed with us throughout the purchasing process that lasted until after closing hours. He was patient and understanding of our needs. Thank you, Mike, for everything. The Cons: -The vehicle itself was advertised as a Toyota Certified Pre-used vehicle and in "excellent" condition. Mechanically, it is sound. But the exterior and interior were disgusting and in rough shape. The car paint itself was rough, most likely because of contaminants due to the construction outside. Moreover, there are nicks and chips throughout the car. When the car was lifted when we got home, we noticed that the previous owner had jumped the curb and damaged the bumper and right side. Still, Village Toyota did not release that information and sold the car. I had to hire a detailer to clay bar the vehicle because of the contaminants on the paint. There are still rock chips ingrained onto the paint. The detailer also found numerous stains throughout the interior of the vehicle. -The customer service team needs more training in terms of communication. When I called regarding the issues with my vehicle and financing I could not reach a customer service representative. I had to contact Toyota National on 12.29.2020 to get them to make Village Toyota contact me. Carolyn from Village Toyota attempted to assist me in regards to my problem with the vehicle. She contacted me on 1.4.2021 and stated that she would speak to the manager regarding my situation. It is currently 1.12.21 and I have not received a callback. -The financing department could also use more work. My bank made a mistake and sent in a check for a higher amount than the car was worth. When asked for the money bank Village Toyota stated that they had sent it back however the entire process took roughly two and a half weeks. I understand that it is a process and it does take time. However, I did not receive updates on the situation. I attempted to reach the finance manager by phone twice (Left messages) and emails twice. Only after I CC’d the manager and the BBB did I receive a call with an update to the situation. Overall, better communication is needed to improve service at Village Toyota. For example, I only wanted a brief phone call regarding an update to my situation. It did not need to be anything fancy, just a short minute call stating what is being done. Additionally, vehicles need to be inspected better and the dealer needs to be upfront regarding their condition.

April, my Southeastern Guide Dog puppy student and I would like to thank all the Associates of Village Toyota for the kindness and courtesy that was shown to us on our June 20, 2017 service appointment. While other Toyota dealership's were much closer, I made the decision to travel from Safety Harbor, FL up to Village Toyota, a member of the Dimmitt Group of dealerships, in Homosassa Springs, FL. Previously, I had came to know the friendly caring sales and service associates from the Dimmitt Auto Group in Pinellas Park, FL during their Cars & Coffee after party events. In addition, I wanted to see how well April could travel over the extended period of time that was required to make the trip. I recently purchased a used 2008 Toyota Prius in Pinellas Park, Florida and needed a new key fob programmed. The car came with only one fob and it would not open the doors remotely. The service took a bit longer than expected because the old key fob was beyond repair, however, the Village Toyota Service Associates kept me updated during the entire process which I greatly appreciated and made me aware that they gave it their best shot at repairing the damaged fob. The new key fob works great! For these reasons, I was exceptionally pleased with the whole experience. All of the associates that I have interacted with at Village Toyota and The Dimmitt Auto Group truly exemplify the "Servant Hearts" philosophy as presented by Richard R. As a purchaser of multiple vehicles over many years, I have experienced the gamut of new and used car sales practices. Mark Hall is THE MAN. My deal was fair, honest, efficient and most of all, accommodating. I work 1 1/2 hours away, run a busy medical office and was able to do the entire deal remotely with delivery and pick up of my trade at a halfway point. With an appointment at 9:45 for only a tire rotation, it should not take 1 hour and 15 minutes to do. They also recommend a 200. service for a fuel injection cleaning svc that's usually done around 35000 miles The car has less then 28000 miles. I was left thinking they spent their time looking for something they could get money for. David was fine as greeter and handling paperwork.

I contacted Village Toyota via email and worked out 90% of my deal with Marshall, the salesman, over email and text. Recently bought a used Highlander from Village Toyota. I hate the car buying process and going to dealerships. I did a bunch of research on the exact vehicle we wanted and contacted dealerships within 150 miles of me. Village Toyota was by far the easiest to work with. Agreed to a price and they delivered the car to me while taking my old one with a 2.5 hr drive separating us. I probably spent 45 minutes from my own house on this whole process with them. AND I got by far the best deal of any dealership. Great experience Village Toyota. Keep up the strong online presence!

I always see Cheyenne in the service department. She is very knowledgeable and always makes my appointments quick and without any issue. She clearly communicates expectations for the device and scheduling for future services. Most recently I almost missed my appointment due to a last minute change in schedule and she still managed to fit us in for a service that day without any extended wait time. I worked with Clayton and loved my experience. He went above and beyond to help me with my paperwork and stuff from the bank. Matt Hall was our sales and the whole process was seamless and relatively fast. We had to drive an hour and a half to the dealership but he made sure to be ready to show us the car we came for as soon as we arrived. No bait-and-switch that we were afraid of. The car was exactly as described, carfax was readily available, and Matt answered all questions we had. The car was cleaned and filled with full tank of gas as we took off. Took my 2013 Tacoma in for its 150,000 mile service. (It was still running strong with no issues, and I’m sure will continue that way). While at the dealership I thought sinceI was there I would take a look at the new Tacoma’s and also more recent used Tacoma models that they had. There were a couple that looked interesting so figured I’d check them out more. I was very fortunate that Sales Associate Chelsey McCommis was available to assist me. She was very helpful, friendly, no pressure, and patient through all my questions. She helped me find and work on how I could leave with the truck that I really liked and wanted. I have been looking for a used car for over a year. I have been to several dealerships who wouldn't even acknowledge me as I walked around the lot or in the showroom. Promises to return phone calls or get back with me about inventory were broken. With little inventory to choose from locally, I began to search online and found a van I was interested out of state. Chelsey McCommis responded immediately to my inquiry. She performed a video call showing us the car. We contacted her a few days later and told her we were interested in making a purchase. She was very responsive throughout the entire transaction: texting and phoning often to inform us of the process. Our first experience at Village Toyota was very good. When a different associate took over for Coiry it went downhill fast. My husband and I walked out and he followed and continued to be rude. We left and headed to a different dealership. The next morning Cory stopped by and talked with us and we ended up going back to Toyota and bought the car. They discounted an already over priced camry by 2,000 added 2000 back on in fees and needed up more than their discounted price. Certified used vehical had all 4 brake pads and rotor needed replaced and the sales agent shocked when I told him. During the test drive I was barely able to stop. Bring your own financing they won't work with you. 1800 a month is too low of an income for a 300 payment.

I was really nervous about buying a car on my own for the first time but the people at Village Toyota really went above and beyond in helping me find a car that was just right for me and within my budget. After the first deal fell through I had pretty much given up hope. Our salesman, Mark Avery was exceptional.......friendly, without being overbearing.......yet very attentive. After looking at the available vehicles, we discovered they did not have our desired SUV in stock. It just so happened that one of the other salespeople had her personal vehicle there (which was what we wanted). I arrived at Village Toyotato to get a maintenance check up, oil change, tire rotation, and Air conditioning services. The oil change and tire rotation was done. I was advised to come back to get the paper work for all the services that had been performed on the truck because it will take hours to print. I agreed to come back. When I first arrived, my extended warranty could not be found in the computer system. I l presented the warranty papers to customer service for the AC. She responded and said I found the warranty in the system but it will not cover the AC. I replied "that's fine but will it cover the oil change and tire rotation". Her answer was yes. After I left the dealership, I noticed that the air was blowing cold air again. I returned to the dealership 4 hours later to get paperwork and they tell me I have to pay for the oil change and tire rotation. I should pay for at least one service. Also the rep told me that I should make it to my next destination before the AC goes out. So then what??? Why should I pay for any services when there's a warranty? Dealerships are always trying to con people out their money. Very unprofessional, stressful, and unfair.

I cant explain how much i love this location. I purchased/ordered a 2021 Toyota 4runner TRD Off Road Premium from my sales person Shon. He was TOP NOTCH AMAZING! I called several different locations and he was the only one who was willing and wanting the sale. He searched high and low for exactly what I wanted and he found it within hours! This was my first time purchasing a brand new vehicle and I was nervous at first but I never felt pressured once. He was very knowledgeable and super sweet and kept me updated day by day. I did everything over the phone and by email and he responded back very fast and the whole buying experience and signing the paperwork was super easy! I got lucky and got my vehicle within 3 weeks! Nice amenities. Courteous people. Attentive to my questions. Prices are on the expensive side. Update, when purchasing a vehicle here, READ the CONTACT. The finance woman slipped in paperwork for added features that she didn’t mention / offer etc like insurance on the upholstery & other stupid things you wouldn’t ask for when buying a car. It’s that junk that gets the finance person some kudos or a commission. This added up to over 3k. When I called the manager to complain, he said “you signed the paperwork “. They had me there all day, I mean over 8 hours. The reason?? I guess to tire me & take advantage. The paperwork was presented after 4 hours. Then Took another 3 hours. Well after days of reading every paper (there were more than 10 that would have taken 8 hours to read & comprehend). Well, I did read & found I could cancel those contracts, if I paid the car off, which they suspect when you finance that you don’t have the money to do so. Well, I did. I paid it off, wrote to the 3 weird side contact companies & got over 3k back. So, they spent all that time & effort to squeeze more out of me, only to have you give it back. Why do you think the place is so beautiful, they steal money.

I never thought that I would post a positive review about a car buying experience, but I am so impressed with Village Toyota that I feel I must. My daughter and I arrived 10 minutes before close on a rainy Tuesday night, hoping to look at an advertised car. We expected that we’d be able to look at it but would need to return the next day to test drive. We were so wrong! Our salesperson Shon stayed late to let us inspect the car, test drive it, fairly negotiate, and filled it with gas before we left! He was honest and straight-forward. I’ve never worked with such a solid car sales person. He earned our trust and will get our repeat business. We also worked with Earl in the Finance Dept to complete the transaction. Again, he stayed late and worked through all of the paperwork with us explaining each line item on the invoice- no surprises, no hidden charges, everything exactly as Shon had explained to us. Specially after hand shake with the manager the deal was done,So they came with different lease rate per month afterwards. complete nonsense!!!They just wasted my 2 hours.
