Beware of this business. I provided all proper information for home insurance and car insurance. A quote was sent to me for car insurance. The price seemed great. When I was sent the papers to sign it was $200 more than agreed. They were hiding this fact and trying to get me to sign the papers without looking. The agent never apologized or corrected it. I went elsewhere.

I have bought insurance from this company for almost twenty years I just recently asked to change my homeowner's policy to vacant and for sale they provided a quote right away the quote seemed awfully high so I got a second opinion and found out I could get better coverage for half the price. After I bought insurance elsewhere I tried calling numerous times to cancel my policy with them and was put on hold numerous times until I had to physically go to there office to cancel

They knew I was worried about my bill not getting to me before I was to leave town,but they went out of the way to reach out to me. Thank you.

Sheldon Palms insurance requires employees to be vaccinated. Even new hires. They should put that on there website under careers. Waisted 2 weeks of my time trying to get hired and they tell me after the fact. When I approached them about the position they didn't say anything about being vaccinated until after I submitted my resume. They even asked me how much I would like to make. No one reached out to me via email or call. It was all on FB messenger. Well at least my resume is updated.

Recently inquired about getting insurance coverage for my business, and this agency was extremely helpful. I had many questions, and they were all answered. They even made me aware of some issues I had not even considered. If you are just starting out, and looking for business insurance, do yourself a favor and speak with Sheldon-Palms first.

I wasn’t going to post this but since they couldn’t even respect me enough to write my name correctly on my w2, and since I’ve called four times and have been hung up on everytime i decided to share my experience with working for this company. I recently quit my part time job because I thought I had an amazing opportunity with this employer, I thought I could actually build a career from what was offered to me. They knew I had no experience, told me they'd all be willing to train me and help me whenever I had any questions. I was told by my trainer that she didn't know anything when she was first employed and was given the same position as me, she also had said it took her four months to get everything down and what helped her the most was asking questions. She told me I would be trained by her for five days but I was given only two days of training, my trainer only worked with me for two days and then had another person sit behind me for another two days. While my original trainer actually showed me what I'd be doing on a daily basis and would allow me to stop and take notes (again they knew I had no experience) the other person just sat behind me and complained and huffed every time I asked a question or asked for help, like I was an annoyance and waste of time. On the fifth day I was still considered to be in training, but I was left on my own. I tried my best to do everything correctly and show my work ethic, but I still came across things I had no idea how to do and being that I was working mostly with customer service and billing I didn't want to mess up so I would ask questions. Every single time I'd ask a question about anything they would all complain and get aggravated and treated me like I was less of a person than them, they even threw shots at me in front of customers but I never spoke up or defended myself because I assumed that they were just overwhelmed with work and stressed so I just let it slide off and tried my best to figure things out on my own. while I was being treated horribly I just ignored it because I felt bad for putting more stress on them, they were complaining about me the entire time to my employer, instead of giving me a chance. I was given nine days and was fired and the reasoning behind it was that all of the employees complained about me to much. The employer waited until the very end of the day to pull me into his office and His exact words were "Today will be your last day, the girls don't like you and complain about you to much and how you work. I really liked you and thought you were doing great but I have to help the employees who help me." And what makes this even worse my manager, before I quit had warned me that the same company screwed over her friend and that they would screw me over too and I defended my new employer and thought she was trying to make me feel awful for leaving, but she was actually trying to warn me. If I had known Id be fired because a group of woman didn't like me, I would of stayed with my part time job, little money is better than no money when you have bills and a family to take care of. And it’s sad because the Job I left treated me like an actual person with feelings and was actually respectful towards me. I gave up a job I was doing really well at just to be fired after two business weeks because of how a few women felt about me when I was nothing but kind towards them. I would also like to point out the fact that my “trainer” told me on the first day that they’ve gone through so many people who applied for the same position I did over the years, and most of them were fired. Even told me that last girl “was an idiot.” And “deserved to be fired.” That alone should of been a red flag for me to leave but I wanted to give it a chance because I felt I could do really well especially after she told me it took her months to get the hang of things and that i was doing very well for being new.

Will not return your calls. Avoids speaking with you. Makes you feel like you are troubling them when you need to buy insurance. I don't get it?
