Way overpriced. 10% over spot for gold plus a 4% cc fee on top of that. Silver is even more overpriced. Exact same premium on the big stuff as the little stuff. Staff was also very rude and disrespectful. Only shop here if you hate yourself or your wallet. Pretty much every store in the Midland Odessa area is a better option. Shop owner or manager, if you are reading this, give your people a coffee pot and some cookies to cheer them up. And reassess your prices to be more in line with your competition, and i promise you business will improve. You have a great location, and great potential. I don't want to see any small business fade away and go under, yours included.

So... I read the reviews and couldn’t believe it was THAT bad. Oh my gosh. I literally experienced every one of the negative reviews on here in one sitting. Asked to look at silver and was told “it’s just silver sir it’s not diamonds or anything.” What a snotty old hag. Saw a review talking about how they are not friendly to non locals. Let me tell ya pal I was born and raised in this are. Odessa tx 89 baby!!! Made sure to mention that and she said “we don’t discount for locals.” Listen last I’m here to spend my money not get any from you. Asked about them having another store and she replied “nope.... not anymore” I see why. How the hell are you still in Buisness with this one? Gun selection sucked and bullion prices were absolute garbage. She would how ever be a prime candidate for a dmv employee .

Not the best place to buy metal or second hand guns. The staff are rude to non locals and won't let you buy firearms without a Texas ID. They will let you pawn a gun without Texas ID but won't let you buy it back without Texas ID. They are very misleading in that regard and that is what those in law enforcement call legalized fraud. So don't pawn a firearm to them because they will make up reasons to not allow to get it back without paying interest, your time and you might never get it back.

I purchased 8oz of silver at a fair price. The employees were kind and helpful when I asked questions. I will definitely be purchasing more silver from them in the future.

Had been going there for years when I needed extra money. Hadn't been there in a while tried to get some money for my ar15 so I could do some earl Christmas shopping. Offered me a super low 150.00 for a smith and wesson rifle thats never been shot. I just walked out . Will never go back.

Visited about 6 years ago. Very rude front staff. Acted as if they didn't want me there. Felt rushed. Haven't been back since. If you want to buy coins and bullion from a local store, just go to the Vault in Odessa.

My experience was bad. One of the elderly ladies kept tossing coins on the counter and was very obnoxious .She started to question me about my logic on why I wanted to purchase a small amount of old coins, I told her its not a prerequisite for her to understand my logic to make the sale ,so just make the sale. The answer I gave her ,i guess was a little too much for her, Her attitude changed slightly. I visited again a week later ,didn't get the same elderly lady , turns out I met a family member of the owner ,she was not as bad as the last one, least she acted like more civilized and decent like a proper lady should, although during our interaction ,I asked some questions about coins ,(forgot to mention i'm new to coin collecting), so she answered my questions with questions ,we were not getting anywhere doing that, so I had to ask the same questions in a different way, bingo! she began to answer ,with answers. "good lord" at that point I was beginning to lose interest . To sum it all up for my experience the atmosphere was dull ,and felt very negative, no greeting , no smile. Rude or lack of properly researched information . My suggestion, owners need to reevaluate employees code of conduct ,and proper customer engagement. Retrain your employees. My goodness hope it hasn't been like this for years. Great inventory of old currency and coin selection though, if it wasn't for that, and Midland actually had another choice for a coin shop, oh i'd take my business elsewhere.

Extremely overpriced! Went to check out their silver and could not believe they wanted to sell me silver rounds for $25 a piece. Thankfully we live in the age of internet and took my business elsewhere.

These are some of the most heartless and horrible ppl I’ve ever so much as talked with.... GO TO CASH AMERICA !!! You’ll be treated like a person for 1 PLUS you’ll get a WAY better deal !!! It’s LITERALLY like walking into the TX chainsaw massacre movie with these ppl I SWEAR LMFAO !!! You’ll see bunch of weird looking ppl (OBVIOUSLY family) all sitting around staring at u extremely uncomfortably while ur at the counter with this weird old woman walking around constantly sayin “idk” “idk” “I’m busy” “call me in few hours” ?! REALLY?! I’m one that likes to buy old coins when I got some $ to burn so jus wanted to see a few .... When I was there I saw this young girl (crying) that had called an made arrangement to pick her stuff up the very next day and they were pretending like they knew nothing bout it and were making her pay 6 TIMES what the loan she’d gotten for her stuff ?!?! WOW ?!?! they’re definitely out to take advantage of anyone they can !!! If anyone wants to have a lil entertainment while being freaked out at the same time, then pay this place a visit for sure !!! And conveniently right next door, they also have their Rent-to-Own store. And for those of us that have made the mistake of dealing with that kind of business before .... you know what that says about these ppl !!! ONLY reason they got the 1 star is cause I had to give that so I could post this warning!!!
