We started with 1 company, but than refinanced with Village for a lower rate, than we did it again, but than this time we needed a cash out.. Every time we have worked with them they have been beyond helpful. They do their best to answer emails fast and answer all question. And I am one to ask a ton of them!! I turn down all the other offers, even when they try and "pay" us to take theirs because I know we have a great company in Village Capital. And as a family with a disabled Vet, the last thing I need is a lot of ruckus or bogus promises and claims. So I see us here with them for a very long time!

They gave me a good rate but I had to pay more by means of dealing with this company. By that I mean they cost me way too much time. Their website is a broken mess and every mortgage payment requires an hour plus wait for them to call me back. Six months of not being able to access my account, reset my password and dealing with these calls because of that. And to make matters worse, they're fully aware of the website issues and still they persist 6 months later. This is unacceptable, to be honest. If I wasn't going to get screwed with higher interest rates because of the current economy, I would 100% be refinancing through someone else merely to save myself from the hassle every single month.

Thus company is seriously the worst. My property taxes weren't paid for a year and when I called to ask them why, they lied to me and said my closing documents didn't show that they were supposed to pay them, yet when I pulled out my physical copies and digital copies that THEY sent me, both showed that home owners insurance and property taxes were to both be paid by Village Capital. After lying to me, they requested that I prove this by send them my closing documents, so I did, and they never responded back. I asked them to prove to me what they were seeing on their end because someone there had to have committed fraud and altered my official documents. Guess what? No response and its been over 2 weeks now. This company is ran by a family of crooks and Nathan Knudson is one of them. Garbage Mortgage Company

Horrible Service Everything went so slow and it seemed as if Raymier and his assistant had no clue what they were doing or they put my paperwork on the back burner. If you look at my Records I had no problem paying my Mortgage until they got involved and told me that I get two free months without a Mortgage payment and it did not even go through, so now I am behind on my Mortgage payment two months. Now I am told after all the fees that I paid for Inspections that I have to wait a year because I have late house payments.

They are ok. They work with you when you are able to get a hold of someone. My only issue is I was late making a payment and as soon as I get off the phone making a payment I get a knock on the door from someone serving me a pieace of paper saying contact Village Capital now my wife thinks we about to lose the house, I am incompetent and is now demanding I deposit my paycheck into her account and she take over the bills or she will me because she doesn’t trust me…….THANKS ALOT!!!!!!!!!!! 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

Jessica Morisot and Alex Ivory were amazing. They both worked hard to get everything taken off for our original mortgage a few years ago and then most recently our cash refi. Highly recommend. Very professional and great communication.

Trash, if I could give them 0 they would get 0. Looking through the other reviews it seems I’m not the only one who has had missed statements, failed electronic transactions which resulted in penalties and somehow that was USAAs fault, and once they forced me over to mail in because of that, they couldn’t even process money orders properly without messing that up and adding fees. This company is a scam. Do t buy into the low rate, they just pull it back with fee after fee.

Horrible experience trying to sale our home. You have to email someone and it takes forever before they give you the payoff. We emailed them May 27th and here it is June 8th and we can’t close because of them. How hard is it to provide a number!!!!!

Don't trust this company. They have no customer service. They told me for four months to hold off on masking my house payments, because each month we were supposed to sign. then with a couple of days left in the month they say to make your payment. Because of them I get a 30 day late payment. They give me the run around for 5 months and full of empty promises.

We experienced back to back insurance losses on our property. Under current conditions, the mortgage company holds most of the funds until the repairs are 90% completed. Village capital is holding our funds while not dispatching an inspector. Inspectors are to be dispatched within 7-10 days of requesting an inspector. On day 10, i called and was met with stalling techniques. I asked for a supervisor and put on hold AGAIN. Was promised one of two supervisors would call that day. Three days later and I am still waiting on that call. Oh yeah, the inspector is still not scheduled. Good luck in getting any customer service, much less good customer service.

Lawrence did an amazing job with our refinancing. He was able to save us almost $20,000 on our house. Plus our monthly payments went down!!! Village Capital and Hiram Naylor are great. I never had to wonder what was happening with our refi. When ever I sent an email to Hiram, he answered almost immediately. It was more like texting than sending emails. It took about six weeks from beginning to end. Which was much quicker than other people we know had said it took them. Very happy with the service of Village Capital and Hiram.

Recently refinanced (VA) thru Simplify Home Loan. They were excellent to work with. The loan was given to Village Capital & Investment. Since it was given to them we have experienced a number of problems trying to get electronic transaction to have payment taken out of our checking account. After 1 letter/form mailed and 2 faxes they still are not able to complete this simple task . A manager was “ not available” to take my call to help. Will update later but a very incompetent company

I just refinanced with this company and now I can not get a hold of them to pay my mortgage payment was on hold for over 2 hrs trying to pay my mortgage payment still haven't been contacted back. One of their numbers is not in use. The other puts you on hold for over 2 hrs and still no call back even. I'm not happy with the service at all. Call me now and I'll remove this review if I get my mortgage payment made today.

Have been using village capital for the last year for my mortgage and has been a very good experience. The bill part is quick and easy to set up and use. The support team is very friendly. Loan rep easy to work with. 3 out 5 score is due to loan docs not being ready as promised. I was scheduled to sign closing docs on 3 separate occasions, and on each appointment docs were not ready. Customer want honesty and transparency. A simple phone call or email to explain the delay would have been well received.

Heber Williams took good care of me throughout the process, which like all real estate transactions took some time. I was able to refinance twice in 2020 once in January and then 6+ months later in October. Joshua Knudson was a great representative who helped me during each closing. I was torn between my current lender and a new lender than was trying to get my business. I completed paperwork with both lenders, but the new lender required a lot more documents and written letters. Good market rates for VA IRRL so went with them. Talked to Bradley about a new purchase and at first he was super helpful. Then he stopped returning and answering my calls. Hard credit checks give you 14 days. I told him my time was running short. I had better expectations. Yes I expect more as a current customer of theirs. Overall unsatisfactory.

This is long overdue. Thank you so much to Dawn and her staff @ Village Capital in Henderson. Dawn was able to help us refinance (streamline)our home with Village Capital. We tried with 2 other finance companies and they made us jump through rings of fire do an appraisal, transfer paper work back and forth. Only to let us know we didn't qualify for the refinance loan. So fustratung!! Loan Depot we started with them in July 2021 and 4 months go by and they Rep I was working with kept reasurring me "your almost done" He lied. Got a letter in the mail from Village Capital spoke with Dawn and she said call Loan Depot and cancel them.Three weeks in December Dawn and and her staff had all the paper work ready to sign❣️Forever grateful for your help❣️

If you want a mortgage company that will pay the wrong property taxes, then this is the company for you! I've had in the realm of 12 calls trying to get this resolved through various departments and after 3 months my payments are still well over what they should be to make up the imbalance. The funny part is that if I don't make the payments, it will be reported to my credit after 30 days. So basically, I'm left holding the bag on a mistake I didn't make with them offering zero sensible resolution while they wait for a refund from the county.

Jessica Moriarty worked very hard on getting all our documents processed as quickly as possible. When underwriters dropped the ball she pressed forward to get closing done. Answered every time we called or emailed.

This company is a sham. We didn’t choose this company as the company that we initially went through sold the loan as is typical. Do not choose this place. They’re incompetent and completely unconcerned with customer satisfaction. We literally cannot close today due to this company’s arrogance. We requested a payment statement several business days ago and are told nobody can help. They’re probably trying to add more money to our loan like they did with our insurance premium they failed to obtain proof for. They charge first and ask questions later!!!

Horrible company. We pay our mortgage payment through our bank on the 1st of every month. Since Village Capital can't handle electronic payments, the bank has to mail the payment to them. Even though the payment arrives by the 8th, they never post it before the 15th and in the meantime, they are harassing us for a payment. This place should not be handling mortgages.

Tanner is a very caring person and takes the time to answer and follow up on anything and everything. Your company should be honored to have such a individual as he. Continue the great work and personality you have given me and shown me.

My specialist, Hiram Naylor, was very attentive and informative. He was very patient with me and my wife and our one million questions. This being our first refinance, it was very stressful and scary. Village capital was amazing. I only gave 4 stars because we were in different timezones which made me miss some of the calls from them. Otherwise they were perfect.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is trash took 3 hours for a call back just to get someone that couldn’t answer my questions placed on hold numerous times refused to connect me to a supervisor when asked the first time then hung up on me after I explained that if I couldn’t get any straight answers as to where my escrow payments were being sent to I would have to get in contact with a lawyer. Just an absolute horrible experience!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this company like it’s the plague. I have never had any issues paying my mortgages with the other mortgage companies I have been with in the past. I sent my payment out on the 15th and got a call today asking where it was. It was delivered to their offices on the 22nd! How do you lose a check?! Then threaten to foreclose because you don’t have payment? I sent in my statements and confirmation numbers and still they are clueless as to why they haven’t received it and continue with threats when I have proof it’s been paid sent to the correct place. How you run your accounting and company is appalling, even through a wire transfer it takes a week.. when it should take one day… how you’re not in a lawsuit for how you run your company is beyond me. We cannot wait to refinance come February so we can get rid of these people all together. Do not obtain a mortgage with them! Buyer/borrower beware!

Do not make the same mistakes I did. When it comes to your home, you need a professional company, and this is not it. 1:30 on a call with the department that helps if you are behind on your mortgage. And that is not talking to some one, I was on hold for most of it.

They are great company for your mortgage needs. Justin Naylor has been the Originator that I've been working with, he always lets me know when rates have dropped, if I am eligible to refinance, and how much it will save me in cases of a streamline, and how much I could potentially pull out if I'm trying to pull some equity out of my home. Bill paying on their website is easy as well. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience with Village Capital.
