Lindsey James was amazing through our whole process of buying our forever home. We can’t thank her enough. Her and our realtor Babs Lewis went above and beyond to make this happen for us. They are truly amazing people! Would recommend to any veteran looking to buy to use veterans United, and Babs lewis with stellar realtor! Couldn’t have asked for better people to work with!

I reached out to a realtor on looking for a house and these people have been bombarding me all day with calls. I haven't even gone to look at any houses yet. Not only that, but why are they calling me about loans already? I don't appreciate this and will be going with someone else.

We submitted all that was asked for and we were actually pre-approved! We were so excited that our biggest hurdle was finally cleared and we could purchase our very first home FINALLY! We already had a family at-home celebration, had an accepted offer on a home that we went under contract for, and I also sold a few of my prized possessions to come up with the earnest money required for the home. We thought we were all set and were ready to move in after our July 1st closing date! I get a friggin phone call from my loan officer yesterday telling me that all of a sudden, the Underwriter won't approve our loan due to one of my husband's debts, even though we've proven to have made on-time payments and even double/triple payments at times to catch up! We are both 100% Permanent and Total disabled veterans and this isn't right. Leading us on like this, me selling my possessions and all FOR NOTHING. Being denied because of appraisal/inspection issues is one thing....but being denied for something that should've been mentioned BEFORE the pre-approval was even given is another thing! We did everything on our part and worked so hard to finally be able to get out of this horrible rental we're in, which is causing so much mental and physical stress on us, and to take away this home on us isn't right at all. I want this wrong to be right and for us to be given the approval we've worked so hard for. We can EASILY afford the payments on this house and there's ZERO excuse for treating us this way. Thanks for being ANOTHER lender to stab us in the backs.

We have purchased 8 homes in our lifetime and this was the first experience we had with Veterans United. It was undoubtedly the best experience we ever had. Some lenders look for ways to get more money out of you, however, Lindsey, our lending specialist worked throughout the process to get us the best possible rate and deal for our loan. When we closed the loan, the closer was amazed at the rate we had been given. Everything went smoothly with the loan and we closed exactly on time. Great job!

This was a great experience. This being my first time buying a home, I thought the process was going to be extremely stressful. My loan officer (Lindsey James) was awesome!!! She kept things going smooth and kept us appraised throughout the process. She even taught us somethings about the home buying process that we had no idea about. Keep up the fantastic work!!

Lindsey James was our Loan contact in Edmond for a new house in Oklahoma City. Working with her was one of the best business interactions I have honestly ever had. Competent, friendly, clear, aggressive in getting things done. She went above and beyond to satisfy our concerns and answering questions. I honestly dont have 1 negative thing to say. Flawless. If you want a professional that will ensure you have a smooth process I highly recommend you give her an opportunity to make your dream home become reality.

Drove 45 mins to this place. Saw the sign on the front. Went into 160 C. Lights off, door unlocked and not a single piece of furniture. Noone in the building helped us so we left. Seemed super sketchy and a waste of time and gas..
