Varney Ford Moosehead Trl, Newport

Highly recommend Rick Wilson and Varney Ford. They have great communication and customer service. They were very helpful in value you as a customer. Highly recommend skipping past Bangor and making the drive to Newport to purchase from Varney Ford.

Called to schedule a test drive of the Ford Ranger with the Tremor pkg. the salesman said that it was in the showroom and his boss wouldn’t want him to take it out if I wasn’t interested in buying it today. I would have even understood needing to pre schedule so they would have time to accommodate but he said that anyone buying the tremor pkg should already expect it to ride rougher and I could just test drive another Ranger and it would be fine. I’m not even going to bother driving over there to check out their inventory since I got dismissed like that. I called Darlings back and confirmed our interest in the white one they ordered. It was an Unfortunate experience.

I dont recommend anyone, to buy a vehicle from Varney Ford Newport. The sales men will tell u what you want to here. When needing service done from service department, things are never done right. There Customer service is awful. I tell them what's wrong with my BRAND NEW CAR, they tell me turn the radio up so you don't have to hear it!! Wrong thing to say. They tell me my vehicle is drivable but they won't say SAFE, but they still put a sticker on it..

Varney service provided an oil change and new filter on my 2017 F350. Requested them to pay particular attention to gaskets and use of motor craft parts. Easy scheduling and started on time. After leaving, I drove 20 miles away and stopped for shopping. I noticed there was oil down the passenger side of my truck. After inspecting the filter, I discovered it was loose with oil dripping. And it was aftermarket filter. I tightened the filter. With no confidence in their work, I had the filter replaced. It was discovered that Varney had left old gasket on truck while installing new oil filter with gasket. The leak was caused by double filter gaskets resulting not to be a good seal. I would not recommend this dealer service department to anyone expecting quality work.

I just want people to know I bought a new mustang gt , when I stopped to look at my car with my old truck, no one had time enough to help me. So I went to Varney Chevy and asked for help there 100 percent helped me [ GREAT PEOPLE] and bought it through them . So now my wife and I are looking for a second vehicle,went to Newport same thing YOU STINK

They have had my vehicle for three months now and each time I call and ask the progress on my vehicle they always come up with a new excuse as to why my vehicle still isn’t fixed yet. Never had so many problems with a company than I have with them. Would never recommend them to anyone ever. If I could give them negative stars I absolutely would.

Very nice. I'm not old enough to buy a car or truck but there are definetly good prices here between $16,000-100, 000. If you are looking for a new vehicle for your fam fam, I recommend this place! 😘

Still checking out the next best deal in a SUV. Lots of nice ones out there. Paul the salesman we talked to was very honest and pleasant. No b.s. straight up. Makes things that much easier. Will definitely keep them in mind when we do decide to buy. Definitely an A+ experience. Also check out the birds nest on the tires.

I have purchased vehicles at and used Varney Ford for service without too much of an issue until now. Called to ask about service for a bad front wheel bearing on my 2015 Escape purchased and maintained at Varney’s and was informed they were “booking out” 2 to 3 weeks!! When pressed and informing the lady on the phone that I did not feel the issue should wait and that I expect as a regular customer better accommodation, and especially considering the vehicle was purchased at Varney, she stated that was the “best they could do and I would have to deal with it”!! Well, the next morning I called Quirk Ford in Augusta and the following day the vehicle was in their garage for repairs! Never again Varney Ford you should be ashamed of your service and personnel! Thank you Quirk Ford you have a new customer!
