So I rushed from work only to arrive right at 5:01. Just as I was attempting to enter the building, one of the employees slammed the door in my face. When I attempted to reason with the woman, she refused to open the door to even talk to me, even as other customers were trying to exit. Now there have been plenty of times I have arrived late to the bank and I could accept that. But what makes this instance exceptionally bad was how the woman treated me. It must also be stated that the only reason I needed to go into the bank in the first place is because they have not sent me a bank card after over a month. That said, I drove around to the drive thru to try to explain this inconvenience to the teller only to be met with a similarly calloused lack of concern. I have been banking with vantage for over 15 years, and I have never been treated like this. These two idiots don't seem to realize that it is customers like myself who pay their salaries. But it is OK because today vantage has lost a long-time customer. I will gladly go do my banking with a place that appreciates my business.

the location is well maintained and the reps are always nice, courteous and professional. This location is convenient and my experience is always pleasant. As I see the few complaints about speed...at any given time any bank or credit union could have slow response time. Great back!

The worst bank. The tellers are polite. But management are absolutely intolerable. They will lie, They will ignore you. I had to call all the way to the CEO just to get into a confrontation with him. This place is a joke. Dont loan. Dont bank. Dont spend your valuable time and money with an institution that will treat you like they are the ONLY bank/cu available. There are too many options out there. You have been warned.

Fees! HIDDEN minimum balance fees. I was with this place since I was a kid, but I'm leaving for a for-profit bank with lower fees. Vantage has betrayed the intent of a credit union. They should lose their status and be taxed.
Philip- we're sorry you feel that we have betrayed the intent of a credit union. Over the past decade or so, the cost of providing financial services has continued to rise while regulations on banking have only increased. As a credit union, we are only successful if our members utilize us for all their financial needs. Nothing is hidden, the Change in Terms was provided to all members 3 months before the changes were implemented.

Every single time I come here, the tellers are extremely slow in the drive thru lines. Greenway chase has less teller service and shorter wait times. Please make that make sense! Fix it!!!! I try to avoid coming to this branch at all costs!

VCU has got to be one of the worst banking institutions. They keep putting a block on my card for no reason. Talked to the Fraud department verified each transaction and was told me the block would be removed. I go back to continue getting food for my family, and now there's appearently another block on the card that only member services can remove. Tried to just get cash out but the ATM took my card. Member services aren't open on the weekend and now I have to wait until tomorrow to speak to them. I have no access to my money. I can not buy food for my family or gas for my car. Even after everything was verified by the security department. My family is simply out of luck for the rest of the day until tomorrow morning. Now I'm being told I have to order a new card. I literally did what I was suppose to do. No one told me about this other block until after the fact. I will be closing this account. Too much of a headache and no access to deal with a situation when you lose the main access to your card and money.

Emoployees lack knowledge of financial offers, misinterpret data, and has trouble doing basic math computing. District manager has no sense of urgency and they do not act in the member's best interests.

I've been with vantage for a while. Employees very helpful with banking concern's, have never secured a loan with them.
