I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Vanguard team! On a personal level everyone that I met was friendly, had wonderful personalities and hit my sweet tooth with fresh donuts and iced coffee! :) On a professional level, everyone was very organized and well prepared for my new home purchase. I was given organized and effective communication throughout the process and had all questions answered promptly. The closing was quick, no hiccups or complications and now I can say I own MY own new home! The Vanguard team was professional, managed to toggle all of the the closing paperwork and documents in a breeze. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Vanguard did a great job of assisting us with the closing on our new house. The gentleman who met with us did one of the best jobs of explaining the documents that we have had and this is our 3rd purchase and had multiple refi's. Would use them again if we purchase or refi in Michigan.

This experience was seamless and if I had to do it all over...I would in a heartbeat. I didn't have a whole lot of hoops to jump through either. It was pretty cut and dry. I did however, had to have my business in order so that assisted with the process being smooth.

Alisha Stambaugh is the best! She scheduled the closing at a time that was convenient for the Borrower. She went way above and beyond to meet the Borrower at a bank branch near their home, which was nearly an hour away. She brought TIMBITS and bagels. This was the icing on the cake for me. A very good experience. They were very quick at getting everything taken care of. 2 months from “house on the market”, to “check in my pocket”.

I used Vanguard as a buyer. The staff who work here are very nice and respond timely. However, the transaction was very, very rough, and it has been hard to get any answers on anything. It also appears that we will be assessed fines for paperwork that they did not file on their end. Nice people but the business side needs some work and for that reason I do not recommend using this company.
