I was concerned about using a company I had not heard of before but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Valley West, particularly Barbara Green, was OUTSTANDING to work with. Barbara was very responsive to our loan needs. When we needed a pre-approval letter for 3 different properties she provided them immediately. Every part of the loan process was done on time. We would definitely use Valley West again. Thumbs up to Barbara Green, she was so pleasant to work with.

2nd time using Valley West as my first experience with them was amazing so I had to return! The best service hands down, Drew goes above and beyond to make the process so smooth. I was excited to get an interest rate lower than what I had anticipated!! Thank you so much for taking such great care of me- I will always refer you out and you will always be my go-to company!!!

Not very satisfied. Took two months to finish. We searched for most of the paperwork. They didn't send checks to anyone. I received them and have to send them out. Payoff numbers were wrong. Charged all of the fees for doing all of the work. Rather than funding my accounts with funds to pay out creditors and making it easier, was told I would just have to do it myself. Interest rates were higher than originally quoted. House payment went from 1200 a month to 2800 a month. Do your homework before coming here. It was very stressful for us.

Valley West Morgage has hands down the best Service when it comes to getting things done. Everything was streamlined and easy to get done. I had a great experience working with Valley West mortgage. This is my second time to refinance through them, and after talking to various loan refinancing companies, Valley West gave me the best deal immediately and closed on my house in less than a month. The whole experience was terrible and stressful. By the time the loan is finally locked, my interest rate was 1/2% higher then the initial rate they quoted me! It took over 3 months to get it done! It started out great. He responded almost immediately to my online inquiry. He was very friendly and professional. However, as soon as I started the process, everything changed. I am the one that's chasing them constantly about the status of my loan and never once that they were proactive in giving me the status of anything. They asked for the moon when it comes to required paperwork with a lot of them not even necessary. This is the only loan that asked me to get the paid off amount from my bank for them because they said "they can't get it". I have refinanced plenty of times for my home as well as my other investment properties and this is the only one that I feel like I did all the work for them. Not sure what they did to earn the fees they charged for the loan. Since I picked them based on the almost 5 stars reviews online, I think it's important that others get to see ALL reviews. I most definitely DO NOT recommend this company to anyone who's looking to refinance.

The people here are very helpful I am so glad I went with a refinance of my home with VALLEY WEST MORTGAGE, they gave me a a lower percent rate than Rocket mortgage. They were able to help me through some areas I was having difficulty with online as I'm not a tech type person. They are all very personable, patinent and professional. They walked me through every aspect. I lost my husband due to health issues and I know I was a difficult mess from dealing with my loss but they were there for me and for that I am most grateful. I am very comforted that I could get through all that is involved in a refinance and not feel like a burden, we pushed through and VALLEY WEST MORTGAGE was a great team to work with! She was also instrumental in handling one of their underwriters, who apparently doesn't know or understand what student loans are or how to use them for underwriting. Working with Berson and the team was straight horrible. I started working with them on 21Aug, almost a month later my refinancing wasn't complete. Here's the icing on the cake, they told me not to pay September mortgage to my current lender so I didn't thinking that they would hold their end of the contract. I was then charged late fees because i trusted Valley West to do what they said they were going to do.. I had to initiate the conversation multiple times to get updates, they're clearly in over their heads. I would not recommend using Valley West for anything! Positive note after valley west still could not complete the job before my October payment, my current lender was able to go with a lower rate and complete all items within 30 days.

We refinanced our home at a very competitive rate and a very low margin between rate and APR. Working with Drew and Alicia was a pleasure. Had a great experience purchasing a home with Drew. He came recommended by my realtor and I'm grateful that he had helped me throughout the process. He is very professional and explained everything as we progressed through the loan application and gave me a better understanding of the steps we had to take in order to complete the process. He was able to work extremely quickly and got me into my new home in just over a month and a week ahead of schedule. One of the concerns I had was the timing of selling my current home in order to purchase the new one and he assured me that it was possible and in the end he definitely delivered. Had a very nightmarish experience with Barbara Green. Initially she was okay to deal with but as time progressed I found out her lack of responsiveness. Calls and texts to her would go unanswered as usual for days on end but as soon as she needs something from you she will call and text you 10 times. I literally had anxiety’s dealing with her . Oh on that note, half the reviews which are on about her seem fake to hide her incompetence. Yes her and her team’s incompetence , they scheduled my appraisal so late I was already having a feeling my closing time would be impacted. They could have atleast prepped up the documentation before appraisal but no. Please please save your money and mental health by not choosing valley west mortgage or atleast Barbara Green. My fiancé just had anxiety listening to my conversation with her. Seems like she got a power trip being a loan officer with how she talked to me. She literally didn’t take time even in her emails and always spelt my first and last name wrong. The most weird part , and you can call them ask , Knoxville title agency , Chase Reno my title officer told me that this has been the rudest and worst experience of his career dealing with Barbara Green. There was so much miscommunication my realtor, my title company had no idea what was going on. When I called to check status she would rudely say that I’m not supposed to be involved in all this. In the end my home did close after extending the closing time . We even tried to talk to Barbara’s supervisor but no one in the valley west company bothered about our feedback. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRESSED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE CLOSING PROCESS. And please check my other reviews , I always leave positive reviews for property management and restaurants, it is very rare I write negative reviews. So you know how bad this experience was.

Going through the home buying process for the first time was a pain but, Geo at Valley West made it a ton easier by going out of his way to make sure everything was easily accessible and very quick to fill out. The phone application was easy to navigate and made it a ton easier when sending documents and signing.

I recently refinanced two properties with Valley West Mortgage, and it was a great experience. I worked with Drew Levy who was very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I was going through the refinancing process for one of my properties with a different company before I started talking to Drew Levy. I ended up giving both loans to Drew because he was able to give me a much better deal. and he was much easier to work with. **Update: I recently refinanced my home with Valley West Mortgage after consulting with Vatche and David once again. The process and fast/easy and I am saving money on my mortgage. Very happy with their services and appreciate their efforts in helping me save money. I still refer and recommend their services to everyone looking to purchase or refinance their home. Valley West Mortgage assisted me in my recent home purchase February 2021. Vatche was my loan office and David was the loan coordinator through out the process. Vatche and David were professional and supportive with questions and any concerns I had. From the moment I applied for loan and upon closing they ensured I was comfortable with each step of the process. David was very friendly and responded to all my questions. They also managed to close escrow a week before. I was extremely satisfied and happy with my experience.

This is my second VA IRRRL refinance with Valley West Mortgage. I worked with Drew, who got me a great rate and low closing costs each time. I can't say enough good things about his responsiveness, any questions I had were promptly answered, and he always kept me up to date. Best Experience, Great Rates as Advertised, Fast and Friendly I was refinancing my house and shopped various mortgage rate through Bank Rates. Valley West Mortgage had the best rates, fees and got back to me immediately. They were fast, efficient and met my every need, including closing quickly. Rates were as promised and at the lowest being offered, no baloney and 2 weeks to close (which I loved). They kept me informed along the way so I didn't have to worry how things were progressing. I will use them again and refer business to them (which I've already done). Best experience, I was really impressed. I should mentioned, I worked with Vatche and his team. Loved it.

It was a great experience with Drew and his team. Drew has been transparent throughout the process and really understood the needs of the customer, and always provided me with great rates and alternatives. I have worked with a lot of lenders for this loan, and many are not focused on what I wanted as part of the refinance process , but Drew has understood my needs and served me exceptionally well. The important thing from my perspective was how do i get a good rate which made sense for the refinance. Drew and Alicia have been pretty fast in communicating with me (this is an important factor for a customer). Some lenders just don't follow up and follow through.

I first called Valley West Mortgage on 08 Dec 2020. I turned in the long list of documentation required for my refinance on 20 Dec 2020. Multiple emails and phone calls have since gone unanswered and the loan officer Barbara made no progress in getting my loan to closing since. Today is 02 Feb 2021 and after multiple attempts to get any status, I have withdrawn the refinance application and I'm going with a different company. I cannot imagine a more frustrating experience. On the rare occasion when I did talk to someone, they were combative and defensive. In summary, the whole experience was: very bad, do NOT recommend. Take your business elsewhere.

The best company to go with. I refinanced my home took them less than 2 weeks to do everything, while other companies were taking up to 3 months I worked with Jeff Gonzalez best Agent I ever worked with. Jeff was very fast commutative, efficient and professional, he is a great asset to the company. If I ever need anything they will be the first company I contact .

I dealt with Amerisave for over two months and they just had excuses for delays - even so far as to tell me loans were like an assembly line and they'd get to me when it was my turn.
