This was my first time ever shopping at a pawn shop, and it was a great experience! I have been calling all over town to see if anyone had a good price on any pre-owned Kirby vacuums (I'm not paying $1,500+ for a new one) I called Vally Pawn and it seemed that they didn't have their phone set up to receive calls, so I messaged them on their Facebook page. I got a message back saying that they do have Kirby vacuums, and they even sent me pictures of the ones they had. I went into the store and checked them out and tested the one I liked. It worked great! It just needed a good cleaning, and some routine maintenance. Once I got done cleaning and maintenancing it, I tested it out on my dog fur covered carpet, and it works better than I could have imagined! It got all of the dog fur out of the carpet that my old vacuum was unable to get. I'm so very happy! I am so thankful for all the great people who helped me in the shop today, you all are wonderful!!!

Not trying to sound like most folks who loose their stuff after pawning, every time I came here and pawned jewelry I was always compensated fairly. However this last experience really revealed how shady the employees at this establishment are! I pawned a 47 gram 14 k gold watch twice, and the first time I brought it they assume it was 10k, THEIR EMPLOYEE (JEWELRY TECH) TESTED it and confirm it's 14k. I lost my job due to my boss retiring and could not pay for the 2nd loan so I asked if they could give me the value that their employee quote (1300). They took 15 minutes doing whatever and told me it's 10k, wouldn't run the test in front of me and offered me 500. Sounds fair but burnt me for 300 , probably so their employee can buy it. Hands down the pawn shop I have ever been to. They have a fantastic inventory at very reasonable prices. I have been coming here for many years now and have bought lots of things. only once did i get a phone that was messed up. the guy warned us about it so we werent mad at all. i have bought 3 mics from here including amps and pre amps. always works and they always give you room to work with. best pawn shop no doubt. Drove all the way from Rio Rancho after work in rush hour, showed up at 6 on the dot and they wouldnt let me in to get my laptop out of pawn. Bad business practice. Unbelievable. I took an item into the pawn shop to pawn. . I was stopped at the door and was told they were out of cash and couldn't get any. Really? A pawn shop without cash is like Kentucky fried chicken without chicken, or Arby's without roastbeef. Is this place really still in business. The name should be changed to used merchandise or something other than pawn shop. Do they not know what a pawn shop does.

Broke my laptop and told me I am just stuck with it that way now. I have done business with them almost weekly for years literally spent thousands and was treated like they had never seen me before. I also work on computers for a living and was told I probably broke it or dropped it in the parking lot. They used to be great honestly the best in town but apparently customer relationships mean nothing.

They are always very helpful and also very knowledgeable. I have always been treated fairly and with respect. I HIGHLY recommend Valley Pawn for not only borrowing money when there is no other choice but also for their extensive inventory of just about anything you might need from jewelry to tools and firearms. Good service and fair prices on items that I have purchased recently and in the past. I do think that I was underpaid on some really nice items that I sold to the shop. The value of items were high even according to there system but negotiations were low. I understand the business and with that comes morals. Went in to look at guitars. The guy was amazing. He sat with me and had me try a bunch of different guitars to make sure I really liked my selection. He was really nice and gave me pointers and sat and played with me for around an hour. It was awesome! He really gave me a great deal with my final selection and my friends were shocked how great of a guitar I got for the money. I have also been there for guns and the folks there were awesome! This is my third or fourth visit here. Friendly people, nice selection of merchandise, security on premises and tolerant of my puppy when I had to bring him in with me. Knowledgeable folks behind the counter, professional service and everything is very orderly despite the abundance of stuff. Rings I have purchased are beautiful and have great prices. However the customer service team needs work. I was informed of wrong sizing prices and there was no possibility of accommodation. They also did not let me know when my ring was done being sized and I had to call and ask, then was put on hold for 12 minutes.

That's a lot of time spent caring and understanding what the customer experience is here. Great job! I have been here multiple times shopping musical items and tools. There is always something new here is why I like to go at least monthly. The gun department always has something new as well and never miss checking it out too. I have a large commercial truck and park on the off street that boarders the property, if this is helpful to some. I reccomend this place due to having a large selection of items, clean atmosphere, and not a junky looking place at all.

Great selection of an array of items from musical equipment to discounted video games. Went there for the first time and got three great PS4 games at a serious discount, no scratches on the discs, and the clerk even gave me bargains on the games original price. Had to leave a bit sooner than I wanted, but I definitely will be back to check out the drum sets, glass, and computers! I went to pass sometime, I rarely visit pawn shops. This one was fun, enjoyable and the service superb! I was only browsing, ended up buying a pair of sunglasses for 1/4th the retail cost. I shopped the music instrument section, the sales gentlemen was knowledgeable and friendly. I shopped the gun section with similar results, top notch service with a glad you're here attitude. I’m a middle class mom with an SUV. I took my 16-year-old daughter to Valley Pawn hoping to get a good deal on a violin. Although it is a pawn shop, they have created a welcoming and safe environment. The store is well organized and the staff is super helpful! John in the instrument department was very helpful and patient with my daughter. When she finally made her decision, he tuned it for her and gave her a short lesson on how to care for the instrument, hook up the amp, tune it, etc... In all we bought an acoustic/electric violin, an amp, amp cord and a sander for a total of $350. The violin alone would have costed me $400 if I bought it online. They have high quality merchandise for a fraction of the price. Take your family to check it out. It’s actually enjoyable bargain hunting 😀

Absolutely amazing customer service! I am 8 months pregnant and was struggling in line and with the heat. The security guard got me some ice cold water, and Angie even gave me an ice cold Gatorade once we got to the counter. We laughed the entire time, and just had an all around amazing experience!

I have been so pleased with Valley Pawn! First, when I pawned my ring the young gentleman was very professional and friendly. I feel he gave me an Excellant price for my ring. 2nd Avy made me feel like valuable customer. She was so nice, professional and quick (with a smile) as well as the 2 individual upon entering the store. The place is clean and they have tons of cool stuff. I would recommend this place!

The woman who work there judge a book buy there cover i have had multiple bad experience's when I have went pawn the two main ones are the young woman who works in pawn always with Vincent the manager also lady. Works up at the front entrance that greets people talk brown hair she has not only been raciest but has also been very rude disrespectful in business like an haas cost valley pawn many valuable costumer as well myself an a several friends who have been mistreated or have seen her mistreat customers.i think valley pawn needs too have a class for the employees to have proper costumer service so that so that they know that it is the customers who pay their salary by purchasing products from value pawn and without those customers they don't have a job. I have noticed that valley pawn has not been able to pawn a whole day due to lack of money. And I'm sure it doesn't help that they're losing out on valuable customers as ourselves that would be purchasing items if they weren't being treated Miss poorly. I myself friends and family wish it could go back to how it once was before where the customer Representatives were friendly helping and kind not just mental and kept the customers wanting to come I've been purchasing items from valley pawn for 10 years plus and now into the point where I refuse to purchase any items or even go to the store due to the horrible customer service I've experienced they still do have some good workers that are kind of respectful like Paul one man that works in the music not the short brown hair one but the one with blonde hair and tall and has a ponytail. Yet I don't seem to recall many more than those two. Last time I was there I was told if I didn't like I was being treated to just never come back again so I'm getting all of my items out of pawn and I won't unless things change quickly and the workers that have that poor customer service are trained or gone

I bought a microphone from there and and that microphone is MXL 990 and the person who sold it to my dad saying that "The microphone been here almost for a year or year and a half and now" Til this day the microphone sound weird now when I speak into it

There is no better place to pawn your valuables. Valley Pawn always has given me the most money " sometimes even 3 or 4 times what others have offered". The staff is courteous and have the ability to drop prices here and there when you are a little short on money. But most of all through this epidemic when everyone was hurting for money they wavered their interest payment for two month's on my loans. No one else has ever been so caring and compassionate. Thank the owner's and staff for everything.

I lost one item at this pawn shop. They should have a grace time, and also should send reminders. I have been pawning my items now off and on for about 10yrs. This is the first lost I have had. I was only a couple of days late and they sold my necklace. It was very,very sentimental to me. But as long as Valley Pawn has their money because that's all they think of. They don't think about the people at all. Maybe a grace time because with the pandemic people are struggling. I will NEVER do businesses at Valley Pawn ever again.

I'm not much of a "pawn shop guy" as most of my experience buying items hasn't been great--until now. I've now bought two guitars from Valley Pawn and couldn't be happier! I pawn my Navajo pearl and a beautiful turquoise necklaces and was treated terribly. They switched my Navajo pearls to a lower grade necklace and they switched my turquoise pendant out to another sky blue turquoise. Very dishonest people’s at valley pawn. I don’t recommend them.

First & foremost, this is not the typical pawn shop. These people respect their clients. It's clean. It's organized. There are plenty of staff members to assist you. They are always checking with you. It's like having a personal shopper. You don't get judged by your appearance. I shop there very frequently. I have yet to have a bad experience. I'm always allowed to test products (tools usually), if something isn't quite right, they try to make it as right as possible. Great customer service on the floor and at the counter. Thirsty, hungry? Buy a drink and a snack. Did I mention organized? No mass bins of misc. hand tools to dig through to find that sharp piece of metal at the bottom waiting to go up under your finger nail. I've been in many pawn shops in Denver, none come close to Valley Pawn. Women can find beautiful, high quality jewelry, Rolex for her man... why not. Looking to improve your car audio, sure! I’m reading other people’s reviews and they all seem to be satisfied with the service from this place . I didn’t have the same great and amazing service other people did , as a matter of fact it was very disappointing coming in today I brought a paint sprayer to sell . The girl at the door made me an offer liked at the sprayer and even asked another employee about it and she said they will buy it . After almost 30 minutes of waiting my turn at the register the looked at the sprayer, take it to the back to test it and the guy comes out saying that they just weren’t gonna buy it . It took me about an hour to get fro. The door to the register just to get turned around. Then they tell me to just wait to the side and they completely ignored me until I ask another girl to give me my stuff back , can’t agree either reviewers

We're from Santa Fe so pawn options are limited but also not so great in prices they give. We always pass by Valley Pawn when we're in town and thought to give it a shot and so happy we did. On both visits we were very pleased! Got top dollar for everything we took in! Angie and Scott we're great! We will definitely be back!

I came in today to purchase a 50th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster. The asking price was $1500 which was way over priced. After talking with the manager we agreed on $1250 with an authentic fender hardshell case. While trying to close the deal and already shaking hands with the manager they could not find the case. The manager was upset and said that was a $300 case. I told them that I would be ok with knocking off $250 and getting my own case. The manager would not even speak to me and he told the sales person to tell me I still had to pay $1250 without the case. They tried to stuff it in a Jackson case and the Fender was too big. I felt completely insulted and wronged. I walked out very angry and I will not be going back. I ran the serial number when I got home and found out that it wasn't even a 50th anniversary. It was a 2007 Deluxe model that goes for $1100 on Reverb. Not only was I insulted and wronged, Valley Pawn tried to Hustle me. The back plate had been replaced with a 50th Anniversary plate. I have been a customer of Valley Pawn for a very long time and after today I will never step foot in there again. I will make sure all of my friends and family know not to go there...

This is a happy place for both my husband and I. For him, there is a wide selection of quality fire arms and he is always happy with the asking price. For me, they have some beautiful jewelry pieces and good deals. I went in with my daughter and a dainty 10k gold ring caught her eye... $36! Sold! Also, the jeweler at Valley does gorgeous custom work and repair. He's very good at what he does.

I have gave my business to Valley Pawn vs big box stores is because they treated customers with respect and they were willing to haggle like a pawn shop should. This is the top spot for buying and selling that's NOT called eBay. In fact, you don't even need to go to eBay, these guys will probably have what you want, and if not they can get it for you. This review is more geared towards the warehouse and the professionalism I witnessed, most notably by Scott and his willingness to get my product loaded into my car. Scott seemed to not have a lot of help, although two other guys helped him load my product, Scott made sure that everything was in place and told me that if I needed any additional assistance they would be there. My hats off to Valley Pawn and more specifically Scott, thank you Scott!

The women behind the jewelry counter are fabulous very friendly and helpful. The check out girl I dealt with was not very friendly and was slightly dismissive. I have been there twice in a month and she was the cashier i dealt with both times. Same experience both times.

Valley Pawn is my absolute favorite Pawn Shop. It's also my favorite firearms store. When anyone asks me where to go for a good price on guns, I tell them that Valley Pawn is great, and has a wonderful staff. The store is well layed out, the staff is SUPER friendly, I don't think I've ever gone in and not received a smile and a 'how are you today?' from someone; even the Security Guard is great. The only critique I have is maybe a couple more clerks in the Guns Department.

Valley pawn is the only pawn shop I go too if you see the deals there you will understand why always treated well by all the employees so if you need anything go to Valley Pawn I bet they'll have it

These guys are awesome! I had an item on layaway and moved out of town, they were willing to work with me on paying the remainder off and get it shipped out to me with a very low shipping cost. My husband drags me into pawn shops, not normally my cup of tea. thankfully the young man that helped him was able to ascertain my position and took the time to get to know what might be of interest to me. The experience turned out to be enjoyable for both of us thanks to Jacob's caring and attentive manner. Next time we're in town it will be a joy to visit again.

I’ve been coming here literally for years. I feel bad for not knowing their names but every single time I’ve come here they’ve honored really what I asked for when I pawn things. Primarily firearms. Interest is super low priced and on top of that they also carry quite a nice selection of firearms also! Can’t wait to pick one or two up from here!

Honestly the best spot in town for a ton of stuff. I've found only helpful, honest folks there! To name a few, Paul (both of them), Adam, and Paige are all superstars! But I havent had any bad experience with any of them!

Lots of good staff. Juan and Jo are always hustling doing what they can to get their customers the best possible service. I only deal with them. Whoever they have taking care of Facebook and answering questions via Facebook is on point too. I harass that person a few times a month with a plethora of questions and they reply very thoroughly and very quickly. All that hard work definitely makes the experience experience so much better. Hats off to Juan, Jo, and Facebook person!

Full transparency, this place use to be great when I was an active heroin addict. Now that I’m sober, not so much. Recently, I’ve noticed the way they treat their “customers” and needless to say, I don’t find it appealing. Honestly, I can go to guitar center and purchase the $500.00 “Valley Pawn” Epiphone for $350.00. I guess if you’re in a bind to sell stuff then you can use them, just know if you were to go buy it back, the guitar you sold them for $125.00 is going to cost you $500.00 to purchase it back. If you’re not in a bind sell it yourself.

If you need some extra cash in a hurry, this is an excellent place to go. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and with treat you with respect. And if you need to buy that someone a special gift, they have lots of items for sale. Thank you
