What a wonderful experience I had obtaining support at the VA Roanoke Loan Center today. Mr. Jeremy G (Loan Specialist) was able to get my concern addressed and resolved quickly/efficiently . This individual was phenomenal, he listened, restated my concern ensuring; there were misunderstandings and "handled it". He even waited to verify the action was received by me via email after verifying my contact information If Mr. Jeremy could be "cloned", he is the one to have. His professionalism displayed, remarkable telephone skills is not often experienced in some organizations..... Great experience today, thanks to Mr. Jeremy. Adams USMC Ret Florida

I just got off the phone with a gentleman in Loan Production. He was so rude and he hung up the phone on me saying that he didn’t have the time to answer my questions. This is totally unacceptable to treat active duty service members as such.

I have called over 10 times to try and get someone to help me with my claim. The people are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I have been given different excuses for the ineptitude. They all have the same script. It appears to me the people on the that end of the phone have never served in the military. I have hung up on when I asked for some one else that may understand what I am say, or a supervisor. They go in and out of my bank account adding and taking money like it is a game. No respect, no understanding, and truly the wrong type of people handling the concerns of any veteran.

Q: How come they don't have a Fax Number?! That is pretty strange to me when a Veteran is reaching out for help!!

It took me a few tries to get the call to connect, but once it did I was only on hold for a minute. Mike took my call about a COE for a home loan I was having issues obtaining. Within less than 10 minutes of pulling up my file he had it sorted out and I was good to go. One of the better experiences Ive had with the VA that I can remember. Thanks Mike!!

I wish I could do "negative" stars. I have called this office muliple times (just got off of the phone with them again) over the past few years and they rarely answer and when they do, they are some of the rudest people in customer service. Every time I've asked something, the response from their end is like I'm asking them to cut a limb off or asking them to sacrifice a child. They are always so unwilling to be polite and help whoever is calling them with questions. How is it this office has not gone through a reorganization yet to "correct" this problem? To my fellow vets, if you can get cooperation out of another office...do it. This one will drive you crazy and piss you off to your breaking point.

Impossible to reach via the 3702 phone number listed, however I did send an email to [email protected] (in regards to getting a Funding fee refund request submitted) and received a reply within minutes that my request had been submitted.

They are very lazy and look for ways to not give veterans a VA home loan. They are a disgrace to the whole VA.

It's a great place to work.
