My daughter got her car from here 29days ago, less then 5days after purchase salesman that sold is the car was fired, (which only matters because of keys promise) when I called for battery replacement I was informed if driven more then 1000 miles not under warranty its 50/50 which i clearly understood. So we calculated distance driven since purchase and had been within guideline as informed. Once battery replaced they attempted to charge me?! Furious and explained what I was told i explained i will not and rather return new battery and go elsewhere,,needless to say I was given a choice to pay for battery or replacement key?but the key was to be replaced prior to salesman being let go. So we have a new battery but keys that only unlock the door manually which activates alarm which won't shut off until key inserted into ignition!! If this wasn't her 1st car and fell in love with it I would have regretted this purchase. I will not mention names of individuals, but the rating is due to several issues with direct conversations or side remarks by staff past and present. Unprofessional and prime example of "only there for commissions" and sell cars not the customers or professionalism

What an experience I had at VA Cars . I have never loss a vehicle due to damage . I needed to get to a place where I could find a nice ride for a nice price. So I decided to try VA cars on this rainey day . Why did I do that . That was the best thing I could have ever done. I called VA cars and believe me I got the #1 sales person Chauncey . He had knowledge of the company ,cars and very professional . He took the time on this rainy day to go to his own car, get a rain coat to show me what they had . I didn't think I was going to walk out with papers for a car but, I know if I didn't ,I would not find a sales person like Chauncey , that made you feel like you was in the BEST! place for a car . Perfect service. Steve Hoffman & Ramon Alvarez are awesome guys who definitely work around any roadblocks to take care of their customers. Steve organized for me to be picked up from my house, Ramon came with the car for me to test drive and was very knowledgeable and informative. Helped me through every question and issue. I didn't have enough for my initial insurance payment and these guys actually took it out of my down payment and allowed me to pay it back within two weeks. Excellent Service and eager to get you on the road.

This car dealership sold me a lemon a couple of months back. They sold me a car with so many issues and no heat, I’ve tried talking to them to get the service department to fix the issue and they won’t help. I then had to take it to the Chrysler dealership, so they could actually help and now they are telling me the car actually has multiple electrical problems, which costs $1000’s in repairs which I don’t have. I will be trading in this car for something better and never dealing with this company again!! Va Cars do better!

Sean Johnson and the team at VA Cars were great. I was a little weary of driving 4 hours one way to just see the used car after another dealer in the opposite direction did not represent the condition of the car at all. I was looking for a very specific model and trim under 30k miles and there were none local to me in NC. I wasted half a day already with another car driving worse than my 150k mile Jetta and explained this Sean. He took the car out again himself to drive it and called me back to ensure it drove well and was in really great condition. Not only was he right when I finally arrived but his interaction was like an old friend making me feel very confident with the business and the vehicle. The car didn't even really need a wash and Sean personally go out there in the heat sweating it up to give it a good cleaning before I started the journey back to NC. While I was there it was obvious these guys all enjoy working together. Sean and team were fantastic and I'll certainly look him up in the future when trying to find that unicorn!

I am editing my review (yet again) because as we go along, things get worse. I originally gave a good review, and then changed to a moderate review due to some issues with the dealership funding and paying off the loan for our trade in after a month. I was asked by the sales manager to fix my review, and since the issue was fixed, I obliged. We are now 3 months in after the purchase, and the warranty they sell you that is "bumper to bumper" is anything but. They won't put in a claim for service issues, and instead say the warranty won't cover it and hit you with a price tag. There was also supposed to be 22 pages of said warranty, of which we received one. I have felt continuously that VA cars has shady business practices and they make a ton of promises that they do not deliver on. I am leaving 2 stars because Austin was awesome during the sales process, but that was about as good as it got.

Not going to lie i was nervous about buying from them and to be honest still is but the customer service was great and they did everything to meet my goals now i just hope the truck have the same quality

They have a lack of communication.! Although they try to forefill the customer needs. But the in house structure is not so well thought . The sales person is always trying there best. As well as the service man that works to ensure that the vehicle that's sold there is a lasting vehicle... but as far as the in house structure I'm not with agreement with.!!! But other than that they do try to meet the customer satisfaction. But they only get 3 stars from me...

I can truly say Sean Johnson Sr is AMAZING! I was in a difficult situation with my previous vehicle with a limited budget & not so great credit. Sean was great from the beginning even initially on the phone! We met in person, and the same day I came in just to discuss options I came out with a 2018 Nissan rogue that I absolutely love! I would absolutely recommend VA cars & Sean, I cannot thank them enough!

My experience started out good with VA cars. They had a good salesman (Ramon) who was very helpful. But its ended not in my favor. A few days after buying a 2 year old truck with very low miles I noticed a noise coming from the read end, after having to actually convince the manager on site something was wrong I was sent to the service center. Went back 2 days later to drop truck off. Its now day 6 and I still have no truck, loyalty service said its over $2k worth of work that must have been "Looked Over" went it went through the rigorous inspection that VA cars says they do on all cars before sold. Parts are on back order which is no fault to the service center, they did give me a loaner. Apparently the fact they "offered to fix" the problems right away is the royal treatment and I should be lucky. I consider it to be the very minimum expectation of a dealership. The truck should have never been sold until it was road worthy. Not even an apology of some empathy given to the situation from anyone. Things happen, parts and problems can get looked over, im not looking for perfection but some empathy and guidance would be helpful for something they messed up on.. At this point I do not plan on visiting VA cars in the future nor referring them to anyone.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Do not, and I cannot stress this enough, under any circumstances purchase anything from these people. I purchased a truck from them and it took a month for them to get it to me because something was wrong with it. They never disclosed it. Just that it was something small. They then told me they would cut me a check for the first months payment. Haven’t seen it. They don’t communicate with you until you spam them for information. I’ve had my truck for less than 3 months. Now it won’t start. They don’t even deserve the one star I gave them. Zero stars wasn’t an option.
