I was able to purchase my 2011 Kia Optima with low Mileage, heated and cooling seats, and moon sunroof windows. It has all the features I wanted my car to have and the Employees did a great job making sure I was satisfied with my new car. I was able to also get a back up camera installed into my car since it did not come with one. Employees here go over and beyond to make your purchases memorable and worth every dollar you spend. I had an amazing experience purchasing my Jeep at Grace Auto Sales and Service. I read other reviews and saw someone that said they felt pressured to do a good review. No one asked me to provide a review ever, but I had such a great experience, I wanted to share how amazing EVERYONE was. The entire staff was extremely helpful, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. The owner, staff, financing, and even the service dept ALL were a pleasure to work with. I was able to test drive the vehicle with NO pressure, which was extremely refreshing. The purchase process took less than an hour from start to finish. I would highly recommend doing business here. They know how to treat their customers and have excellent customer service. I feel confident that I made a great purchase!

When we first came in, we were welcomed right away by Nick. He was friendly and personable throughout the whole process of looking for a new vehicle. He answered all questions, and if he didn’t know the answer he was honest and worked to find the answers. Once we decided on a van, there was constant communication about the process (a few things needed done in the shop before finalizing the process). When it was time to pick up our new van, everything was streamlined, people were friendly and engaged our kids while we were waiting as well. Service was incredible and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Super nice staff and great car buying experience without the nonsense games some other dealers play. I was looking for a car under $10k and they had a nice selection to choose from without a ton of miles on them. They’re upfront with all of their prices/fees and they don’t try to rob you with those outrageous $799 or $899 dealer fees. They do charge a $475 dealer fee but that’s not bad at all. My salesman name is Nick so if you call or stop by ask for him. He’s very nice, polite and knowledgeable. The owner John was very pleasant to deal with. I Highly recommend them for your next car buying experience. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Grace Auto Sales will now be our family’s first stop for buying a vehicle! I went in there wanting a particular Jeep they had. I went in close to closing, and Austin said he’d get back with me in the morning on financing options… well, he worked and worked, and then continued to work the day after that to get me into my first car! My dream car! Austin worked on his day off to secure me financing because at 20, this wasn’t an easy task without a ridiculously high interest rate! I left happy, and in my Jeep the next day, with a payment I could afford. Thank you to Austin and the Grace Auto Sales staff!

Grace Auto coerces their customers into leaving 5 star reviews as they are purchasing the car, so I had originally left a 5 star review because I felt pressured to. However, after having the car for nearly 5 months, I have found the car was not thoroughly detailed at all (finding junk from previous owner crammed into the seats) and they sold me the car with hidden issues (broken fuel pump). I am very unimpressed with their services. I have now removed the Grace Auto license plate holder because I would not recommend to anyone. Update: After Grace Auto saw this review, they made it right and refunded us for the fuel pump and offered a thorough detail for free. I appreciate the thought and willingness to help.

I hate buying cars but once in awhile it's a must. Nothing but good to say about Grace Auto Sales and the staff. Everyone was pleasant and there was truly no pressure. Highly recommend this dealership! They answered all of my questions, allowed me to check out the car and check the oil, and worked their hardest to provide me with the car I chose as soon as I needed it! After purchase, I kept it there for 3 days- during that time they re- painted the vehicle and replaced the side mirror as well as took a dent out all for free! They also replaced my tires with no charge as one of them had a hole in it and out of their goodness, did not want me to drive 2 hours home on a bad tire! Everyone here is so nice and understanding as well as professional. Go here!

We found Grace Auto when searching for a Camry under $10k. They had several great cars in their inventory and we’re happy with the one we bought! We had a great experience at Grace Auto. First of all, they have quite the selection. We were looking specifically for slightly older Toyotas, Hondas, and Hyundais, and even trying to keep our budget under $10k, and they definitely offered all of that. Their website was also frequently updated and easy to search for the criteria we were looking for. We went there a few times over a few weeks, test-drove several cars, and took a couple of them to a local mechanic for an independent inspection. We ended up going for a 2010 Camry. We presented some larger ticket items to Grace Auto that the other mechanic flagged for us, and they were willing to work with us on repairing the major issues before we bought the car. Their mechanic, Richard, was very nice, thorough, and lovely to work with too. The final transaction was completed by John Grace himself, who was patient, thorough, and amiable. I thought all of the staff were helpful, straightforward, and trustworthy. With any car purchase, I would always recommend doing your own due diligence in researching the car, test driving it, checking out the Carfax, and even having an independent mechanic take a look, so you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Overall a very pleasant and satisfying experience, and I’m really happy with the purchase!

I could not be happier with my purchase and the experience I had at grace auto. They truly go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I typically only buy cars from larger dealerships out of fear of “used auto lot” nightmares. I found my 4Runner on their website and came in the very next day. We bought a used 2008 vehicle from John and his crew on Friday, August 20th, 2021 and we live almost 2 hours away from his location. So, I was grateful we got to take the car home the same day. This is your one stop shop for purchasing a car; the "Amazon" of car dealers, John has everything set up "in house" - DMV registration and tags, mechanic work, financing, detailing, etc. John and his staff (Nick, in particular) were friendly, informative, and helpful. Got a 2009 Subaru for $6500, it test drove great but developed a problem which caused me to take it back in a few times. Every person who worked there that I talked to, service and sales, was great, understanding, helpful, above and beyond. I had to eventually return the Subaru, but they gladly took it back in and got me a similar vehicle, every time they were great to deal with. I'll come back when it's time to buy again. Edit 3 months later: everything I said before is still true. HOWEVER, the Hyundai that I traded, needs a complete new transmission. The car lasted me roughly 3 months, now a $2200 repair. So, 2 out of the 2 cars I got there did not last more than 3 months each without needing major repairs. They do honor warranties when applicable, but the cars, in my experience, are not trustworthy.

Tell them the vehicle your'e interested in, give them a copy of your license,and off you go to wherever you wish no preset drive with the salesperson tagging along to chatter about the car and the deal he's going to give you. Financing also simple just fill out the application and then the owner John Grace tells you what your options are. No waiting for a second person to approve everything like all the other dealers I've dealt with. Fast process, I've spent up to 4 hours in getting a vehicle this was less than an hour. There was no pressure, just helpful suggestions (such as the installation of a backup camera at half the price I had been quoted for camera installation at other dealerships). When I was offered what I expected for my trade-in, I was able to get the 2013 Camry Hybrid I wanted at a price I felt was fair (Austin even showed me the process they used to come up with the price of my vehicle). As I drove away, the low tire pressure sensor light came on, and they immediately checked it and corrected it, assuring me of their commitment to their dealership warranty. I recommend without reservation Grace Auto! It was the best car buying experience I ever had, and, with the support of their service department, I anticipate driving this car too for 10-15 years!

This has been one of the best dealers I have ever worked with. Nick was very helpful, always very quick responses! He made the whole process quick and painless. I bought an 07’ Toyota Tacoma from them. I noticed on my initial inspection of the vehicle that there was some noticeable oil seepage coming from the passenger side. Nick assured me the vehicle was good to go, however if I had any issues I could bring it back for service. After driving the vehicle for 4-5 weeks I found that it was more than just minor seepage. I was having to put a qt. of oil in a week. At first I was reluctant to call them back, usually having a dealer perform work after a purchase is always a hassle. I was surprised to find out at this was not the case with Grace Auto. Nick immediately got me in contact with their service center. Not only were they willing to fix the vehicle, they were happy to. Steve the service manager was awesome. I could tell he genuinely wanted to help fix the truck. Grace Auto really proved to me why they have such a high rating. They were a breath of fresh air compared to the many many shady car dealers in the Richmond and surrounding areas.

Grace Auto has been a fantastic experience at about every level! This was my first time buying a car and I was worried I was gonna get scammed or pay way more than needed, but none of that happened. My daughter recently needed a new car. As a father, I was very concerned about finding the right vehicle for her. We found a beautiful 2010 Toyota Highlander at Grace Auto. They were completely professional and wonderful to work with from start to finish. As we drove the vehicle home we found 2 mechanical repairs that went unnoticed while we were negotiating the car. I purchased my very first car from Grace Auto a few weeks ago. I was surprised at the variety/amount of quality cars they had at amazing prices and was happy that it was a family owned business. The salespeople were not at all pushy and I never felt like they were trying to sell me a car. Throughout the whole process from test drive to after signing papers Richard, Nick, Selma, and every other staff member were more than willing to help me or answer any questions I had. They made the process so easy and their customer service is unlike any other car dealership. AFTER signing papers for the car, I had it inspected by a Toyota dealer and there were a few minor issues they saw. I called Grace Auto and they had me bring the car back to them and fixed the issues free of charge which they were not required to do. I hope to purchase my next pre-owned car from Grace Auto, but for now I am just excited about my new-to-me stunning Toyota Highlander.

Back in February 2022, I had the benefit of having the time to find a new car as mine was still running. Plus when I've gone back for subsequent issues -- a window acting wonky right after purchase & a few months later when my driver side door handle came off without warning -- I've received 100% A+ quality care from them each time without being price-gouged (Richard, you're the literal BEST!). I want to give a big shout out to Grace Auto Sales. I, typically, dread buying a new/used car, but my experience with everyone at Grace was pleasant. Not only was the car in great condition with low mileage, the few things we found that needed attention were quickly fixed, the car detailed and ready for pickup the following day. 2 weeks after driving it off their lot, the car wouldn't move. We expected the worst. When I called and spoke to Nick, he passed me on to Richard, the Service Manager, who instructed me to get it to him ASAP and he'd take a look at it! Within a few minutes of the car returning to the lot, he called me to say he'd look at it as soon as possible because he knew my son was without a vehicle...and worried about the condition of the car. Well, within 24 hours Richard had diagnosed the problem, fixed it (a random stone was thrown up into the brake system keeping the car from moving...not their fault in anyway, by the way!) and said we could come pick it up...no charge! I was car shopping within the last two months and initially was glad to have stopped by Grace Auto. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and extremely hands-off. Over the numerous days, I was there, I spoke to or interacted with at least four people; only one offered me their contact information. The day I attempted to purchase, I was kept standing at the counter talking to the associate about specifics like needed repairs on the vehicle and what they would and would not fix, purchase price, loans, financing, and rates. All while other associates were 1 foot away listening to the conversation while on their phones or computer, and customers were coming in and out of the very small and confined lobby/office/register area. It was distracting and not a very personalized service experience. I was never asked to sit down and have a conversation. I felt like I was at 7/11 trying to purchase a Coke rather than a big purchase like a car. Ironically, the associate I was dealing with LOOKED like an unprofessional 7/11 clerk, not a reputable salesman, so I guess I should not be surprised by how he handled the inquiry.

The worst experience with purchasing an Auto. I purchased in June of this year. Had to bring it back same month with transmission issues, Richard Young Manager of service department, he thought it had a leak so never took care of that and ( some services done). I ask for trade with in the 30 grace period and they don't offer that. It had continue with same problems and they cannot do nothing with it. What poor people for salesperson and service. A car not even with 4 month of pay.

CAUTION - BE WARNED Bought a vehicle for close to $5000 from them early last year. The first month my wife was stranded on the side of the road and they said it wasn't covered under their warranty. Over the next year my wife was broken down 4 more times on the side of the road until eventually the engine blew. We invested another $1200 after the $4800 price tag, and it was the timing belt which should have been changed before sold according to the manual. They had sold us a car which has a timing belt that had never been changed, causing permanent engine failure We are now out 6 grand and my wife has no vehicle. The people here will do anything to get out of honoring their warranty, and sold us a lemon to begin with. Don't be fooled by the smiles on their faces, take it to a certified mechanic for a full in-depth inspection before ever signing anything with these people. 13 months after our purchase our now $6000 investment is deemed valued at $100. I'm sure one of their employees will try to diffuse this post or deflect it the way they did all of our attempts to get things made right through their warranty. EDIT- in response to owners post, It was like pulling teeth to get you to do anything, when the "new alternator" stopped working less than a month after you put it in. My wife tried reaching out to you all numerous times with no resolution or help from Grace Auto, leaving the car once again undrivable until we got it repaired at another shop at our expense. Grace Autos mechanic, whom said it was just the alternator was wrong, and it had been a more serious issue. So we did reach out. You once again fought us on covering anything even though the original "new alternator" was not a repair but merely a band aid to help it drive off your lot and maybe an additional 150 miles before breaking down again. Your mechanic seemed to do only what was necessary to get it to drive long enough to go past the initial warranty period. Based off of the lack of response and help from your company that message was loud and clear

Some issues were discovered, so they built into the purchase agreement items that they would fix and what we would cover after the purchase. It was seamless.
