    Researching and purchasing a car, either used or new is not overly fun. Finding out you have credit issues, either bad or zero credit is an eye-opening experience when vendors treat you like a piranha and won't help you or expect you to have thousands of dollars as a down payment. Then comes Upstate Auto Credit. From the person answering the phone, to the salesman, to the manager, they actually do all they can to help you find the car(s) you can afford. My salesman Otis was fantastic. Explained everything in detail, in layman's terms. He calls, double checks. Never once doubted he could get me a few options in the vehicle I could afford. Never once doubted he could get me financing. And he came through! I love my new-to-me car. The entire deal took 24 hours...from me walking in the door, to me driving out of the parking lot. If you have credit issues, not a lot of money to put down, these are the folks to help you. I'm quite sure they are not perfect, nor are they for everyone, but they suited my needs perfectly and I thank them all for all they did for me.

    This place is awesome I recommend anyone that needs a vehicle no matter what there situation is to go there.I filed bankruptcy and within minutes I was approved for a car in my price range!     It was an overall great experience with the help of Alyssa she made my first time buyer experience a breeze. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful soon as you walk in I didn’t feel pressured or swindled into getting a vehicle I didn’t want I’m very happy with my purchase and I definitely recommended a few of my friends/family to come by to check their inventory out.     I went in with very low expectations as this was not my first stop in my journey to acquire a reliqble vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised when they came back with a list of 8 or 10 vehicles I could likely be approved for. I made a selection from the group and they went to work. I had some severe bumps in my credit history (repossessions resulted from a severe injury at work) My salesman (Otis) came back with very reasonable terms and I left with my car that day. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a car!

    I do not recommend this location what so ever. I scheduled an appointment but had to wait for about an hr- Otis was working with another customer and refused to let his coworker help me because he's a greedy salesman who doesn't have the customers needs in mind. They ran my credit app through far too many banks and dropped my score so low it took me two months before I could be financed through a legitimate dealership. Even after being disrespected and made to feel like a bother ( I must not have been looking at a profitable vehicle for him) when I asked about price I had seen the exact same vehicle for $1000 less with less miles at another location. Otis scoffed at me and said the price is what it is , you don't like it than you can go. So I left and boy am I glad I did. I ended up going to vision Nissan and an actual professional was able to help me even after Otis trashed my credit !

    Kevin Fitzpatrick and the rest of the staff at Upstate Auto went above and beyond for me. My credit was shot and looking for a fresh start, they did what other dealers couldn't do. Was approved with a small down payment, and like they say, drove home the same day. I love the Dodge Journey and would recommend to anyone. Good credit, bad credit or no credit.

    Otis was the best! Walked me through the car buying thing. I have zero credit and was still put in a beautiful Toyota Rav4! From start to finish Otis made sure there was no stress and got me approved for the first time in 20 years. I would recommend the team at upstate auto credit in Henrietta if you have been turned down any place else .

    Otis Leach, our salesperson at Upstate Auto, really went out of his way to ensure the BEST customer service experience. We arrived on Saturday afternoon, and left knowing we were getting a car that exceeded our expectations. Otis worked with us (and was extremely patient and good-natured) and found us a 2010 Kia Soul with 29,000 miles. The car had just arrived on the lot, so it wasn't "ready to go", but we needed to leave knowing we could have the car by Monday, as we only have one vehicle and my husband was assigned to a project out of state. Otis made 100% sure that everything that needed to be completed for us to get the car on time was complete before we left on Saturday. Monday morning, Otis gave me a call and DROVE TO MY HOUSE AND PICKED ME UP! so that I could have the car. I cannot say enough how much it means to me that Otis made my car buying experience so easy. This was our second purchase from Upstate Auto, and our first from Otis, and I plan to continue to purchase my cars from both in the future. My experience was exactly how you hope your car buying goes: minimal time and effort on your part with complete satisfaction and a car you love. Thanks again, Otis and Upstate Auto.     Cars they sell are not good quality. Have had the car only 2 months and breaks are already gone. Tried to contact them after buying vehicle telling them headlights weren't good. They are rude and just give you the run around. Salesman very unprofessional. I would avoid this place. Ok... It is brakes I'm talking about. Great cut and paste answer. Again- the run around.

    I purchased a vehicle from here on 7/17/17 and I have had problems with this vehicle 2 weeks after driving it off of the lot. My vehicle has been in the shop 5 times since I purchased the car. Every time I have had to bring the car in they have provided me with a shuttle to and from my job. I have had a pretty good relationship with Justin the service rep that I have been dealing with. However, I started to get frustrated and discouraged as i have had to continue to bring the vehicle in. I have asked what else can I do about this vehicle. It drags when I'm driving as if it wants to stall out. After bringing it in on the 4th time, I called and spoke to a manager named Rick. I explained my concerns with him and he started that he would call me back before Friday and we talked on Wednesday evening. I have yet to receive this call from him. Today, was my breaking point when I was told that my car was still not fixed. I asked for a loaner and Justin called and told me that I could get a loaner but I had to have a 100.00 dollar deposit. This made me even more disappointed due to I didn't have the money for this but this was something that should have been a courtesy due to the vehicle not being fixed. I called to speak to the branch manage B who has yet to respond to any of my calls. I an very disappointed AND SHAME ON YOU UPSTATE AUTO CREDIT.

    Upstate Auto is the place to get a car, whether you have good or bad credit. We went in on Saturday, and had a beautiful Suzuki Vitara by Monday evening. Otis Leach was great. He worked with us throughout the day to get all the paper work needed. We faxed, emailed, and talked on the phone. Our SUV was ready when we got there after work.     Mikeal was my sales guy and he did exactly what was needed I came in told him what I wanted and how much I needed for my monthly payments and he did it I am a single mother so walking out with a 2013 Ford Escape was one of my proudest moments.     I bought a car from them and had problems within the first 30 days. I took the car in for repairs and after the second try at fixing it they wouldn't call me back. When someone finally did he said he'd call me the next day and I never heard from him again. Completely unprofessional and I would NEVER recommend someone purchasing a car through them. They do not stand behind their car once it leaves the lot. The service manager at Dorschel is the only one who takes responsibility and is making it right by me. They are a complete scam.

    Doesn't even deserve one star!! I got my car from here and i have had issues ever sense!!! And when i took it up to be fixed, everytime I was told they ordered the wrong part... When it finally was 'fixed' the check engine light came back on not even one mile down the road. When i called back to get it looked at they informed me I was over my 6,000 miles and i would have to pay for the repairs... I went to a local garage and they said the turbo was faulty the fuel pump wasnt in the best shape, and that it'll be more than its worth because of the repairs it needs! I got the car in July, as of this morning shes dead and im furious! The payments are so high (also was $240 more than originally promised by the way....) That i cant afdord to fix it! And i still have to pay for the cheap thing! They sell junk cars. My friend got hers there too and her car is just as bad as mine! Buy a bicycle and use that. More reliable than what they sell.

    Spent about 1/2 hour on Saturday on the Henrietta lot working with Toya. When they didnt have what I wanted, Toya called the Ridge location and found a unit I would be happy with. They handled the whole transaction quickly and efficiently. The downpayment amount was flexible, and the monthly payments were exactly as promised. Delivery of the vehicle took ten minutes and we were on our way. More like Consultants to buyers that have special needs than ordinary car re-sellers. A+++

    This is the place to go if you looking to buy a very nice vehicle!!! The staff is awesome!! They will work with you to get you the car you want...Shane is just the perfect salesman! This place and the staff in it make you feel like you are the only person in the office. We never once felt like we were at a car dealership, It was like doing business with a neighbor!! Other dealerships with salesmen standing around in their 3 peice suits makeing you feel like you dont belong there is NOT this place..Everyone in the office is very nice and friendly...No pressure to buy the most expensive car on the lot...Thank You Shane and Upstate Auto for making my daughters first time buying an awesome experience!

    I purchased a 2012 Kia Optima from the Henrietta location in the beginning of April 2021, and in the last 3.5 months my car has been nothing but a problem. It seems that every week there is a new issue arising, my first red flag should have been that they let me drive off the lot with a broken trunk latch and tail light. Those two repairs were thankfully repaired with no charge, but since then I have had the following wrong; -Passenger Headlight -Wheel Barring -Alignment -All 4 tires needed to be replace due to balding - Rear brake pads (1st time) -Battery -Engine sieze repair -Passenger side door handle -Passenger side door latch -Rear brake pads (2nd time) -Caliber replacement I still have two undiagnosed issues with my car that I cannot afford to get fixed because this car has completely drained me. To say I am disappointed would be an understatment. This company has not been helpful at all and they do not answer the phone or return calls. This was my first car and it has made me not trust a single vehicle and has completely put me in a bind. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

    My experience at Upstate Auto Credit, and especially my dealings with Mikeal, were top notch! I wasn't even sure I would qualify for a loan due to past credit issues, but Kale found me the right deal and the right vehicle. I love my new car and would highly recommend Upstate Auto Credit!

    I went here last Wednesday after just leaving northwest auto mall in Spencerport that had no interest in helping me. Met with Otis and gave him the rundown of my situation trying to trade in my car. I had low expectations of any sort of outcome but just wanted to see my options and where I stood. Otis was super friendly and answered my hundreds of questions. Within an hour got me approved by a bank and showed me a car I loved, low milage, and not much more than I was already paying that I picked up 2 days later. His communication and honesty through the whole process put me at ease and never left me flustered on what the next step was. Super great place to go, super nice and helpful staff, and will suggest to anyone in the future!

    Amazing experience! I was in an unfortunate situation with a car that I was upside down in. I met with Otis, an amazing salesman here. He genuinely cared and took a lot of time listening to me and wanted to do whatever he could to help me out while still being honest with me.     I set up an appointment for Thursday & got right in and Jill took good care of me . She provided me with offers I was able to work with due to having little to no credit. I’m glad I was given options and the process went really smooth. She was very informative on all aspects & provided excellent service. So I picked my 08’ Scion & did all the paper work with no problems went home thinking I’d hear back sometime the next day & actually got a call Back within a few hrs and all was said and done & came back finalized all the papers & out I walked with my keys to my new ride by 4pm!     Absolutely egregious customer service. Our experience was as if the whole office was in on a bet to see who could belittle and verbally assault the most customers in the most condescending manner. It was almost as if we were in a prank show. First off, Otis, our sales representative, claimed to have a 852 FICO credit score. There were no prices or milage on the cars in the lot. We wanted to see the 2009 (I can't exactly remember the year) Subaru Outback. The body and frame were in MINT condition. He claimed he couldn't show us a vehicle until he ran our credit! Unbeknownst to Otis, my girlfriend and I walked in with $5000 cash, a 636 & 753 FICO score. We would have financed about 4ish grand. We walked out because there is no way I am allowing a credit ding on my fantastic credit report on a vehicle that I'm not allowed inside of. Out of principle I will never ever be a patron of this dealership.

    I have been to upstate auto credit Henrietta twice now for a car. They are great they will go above and beyond to get you in a car that you like.     The professionals at Upstate Auto Credit are fantastic! I was fortunate to have Mr. Otis Leach as my guide through the whole process of buying the car; I was riding the bus back and forth to work...everywhere. I had seen the seen the ads, went by it regularly...and thought I've had enough. I came in to Upstate Auto Credit and even with not so pretty credit was able to find a car that was for me; even more it was the one I looked at on the way in. So, I would try it out; there is not a thing to lose and I can sleep in more in the morning; not to mention my life is a lot easier. I found Mr. Otis who explained the whole process start to finish, options, and was able to find a way; I am so grateful to Mr. Otis and Upstate Auto Credit!

    Two weeks after the warranty ran out the muffler broke and the repair ran me about $1000. It's now back in the shop for issues with the O2 sensor that wasn't part of the muffler system that was replaced. I've left two messages and gotten no response. They also changed the terms of the loan after I'd signed the initial paperwork and taken possession of the vehicle, which made the payments near impossible. Should've listened to my gut and just handed the car back right then. Deeply disappointed and cannot recommend doing business with them again.

    The representatives I worked with was Kevin and Kyle and they were such a huge help. I walked in there with my husband and my son looking for a vehicle but scared about whether we would be approved or not. We have had some issues with our credit in the past and we have been working on it but it takes a really long time to build that back up. Both Keven and Kyle were extremely nice and patient with us and answered all of our questions. They helped us find the PERFECT vehicle and helped us push the application thru to get approved. They were very organized and understanding to our current situation and found us a solution that works best for us. We could not be any happier! I would most definitely recommend others to go here and would most definitely recommend others to work with Kevin or Kyle. Definitely worth the time and money. Overall, our experience was amazing.     My experience at "Upstate Auto Credit" was "Truly Gratifying." Otis Leach worked with me and found me the perfect vehicle for my family. I had a small pick up that only fit two small children (which are my kids) and myself but I needed something a little bit bigger so the three of us could fit comfortably. Previously I went through a divorce so to say the least my credit wasn't in the best condition. Needless to say UAC came through for me. They really helped me out. I worked with Otis.... and man! words can't express the joy I feel. If you get to read this Otis, thank you so much sir! You made me feel comfortable, unalike other dealerships I've been to and you were so genuine and patient. I now am sitting in a silver 2011 Hyundai Sonata and I'm loving every minute in it. Literally it makes me want to take a road trip : )

    I walked into Upstate Auto Credit Henrietta and walked out 3 hours later with my new car. It was a wonderful experience and I appreciate Otis Leach for helping me with my purchase.     Was in an accident 3 weeks ago that resulted in the total loss of my car. they did not make the buying process quick and painless. they offered me a car that wasn't available and told me it would be day after day. when I threatened to go to a different dealer, they lied and said the vehicle would be ready the following day. my time was on the last day with the rental and when I went to pick up the car, it wasn't there. I was given the answer of "We don't know when it will be done and there's nothing we can do". I went to the service dept myself only to find the car wouldn't be ready for a min of 1 week. I work 1hr from home so not having a car isn't an option and they just didn't care. they tried offering me some POS and then I found out that although the monthly payments were low, they were trying to charge me 25% interest, a along with charging 4000 OVER KBB fair spellings maximum fair selling price. saying that the bank makes the prices and they own the bank... Would not recommend.

    I purchased a 2011 Impala 2 months ago from upstate. Its been in the shop over 10 time and needed a new transmission. During the latest issue that occurred on 7/3/2016, I lost power steering, all breaks, the motor and the headlights at 10pm in pitch black. I was moving at 65mph when everything went all at once. I nearly died in this car. They said the battery got warm and drained but they couldn't say why. The manager Kyle Tedeschi avoided my calls and his boss Michele Myers said she was unwilling to negotiate returning the vehicle or a warranty extension. If you value your life, I beg you not to get a car here.

    This place is racist and does not consider working for UberXL and a personal delivery driver as employment despite the fact I make over $600 a week. And I filed a 1099. Did not even look at my credit nor did they look at my income verification. They stared me down gave me a false thin smile and walked away for 15 minutes. I heard the tall ugly bald guy laughing and saying, yeah right....like they didn't believe me. I got a better car. But be careful this company is a sham. And only assists people they think are what they want.

    They were awesome here! Even though we had an appointment and talked about what i wanted before hand they were awesome and so accommodating. When I said the only requirements I had for my vehical was to fit a carseat and stroller they knew exactly what i wanted. The best part is I was able to walk away with my new car today!     I have had no problem with upstate auto. The sales reps are so kind and willing to always try and fit your needs to “get you rolling” ... I quoted that because my sales rep Sean Spahn has said that to me twice and has definitely delivered on what he said ...I encourage anyone to go sit down and talk with him he is great at what he does and he WILL....”get u rolling “ and I personally appreciate his time and effort thank you Sean

    Had a great experience at upstate auto. Staff were very helpful and made buying a car less stressful. Otis Leach provided awesome customer service and helped me through each step and made the buying experience pleasureful. I would highly recommend upstate auto.

    I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. My boyfriend bought a vehicle the week before Christmas, 2 days later there was no heat. We have had the car in the shop a few times (for the same issue) and now it over heats and smoke comes in from the vents. Needless to say they don't offer you a loaner which is a joke. (my dealership even gives me loaner when I bring my car in for an oil change) He can not get anyone to call him back or even email him. The only way anyone will talk to you is if you show up at the dealership or the service center then they can't avoid you. This is the most unprofessional dealership I have even dealt with in my life. This is not how you do business!!!
