My loan officer Victoria Thwaites answered my many loan application questions at all hours of the day, accommodated an expedited review of my loan application (per the Seller's request), allowed me to grant my wife Power of Attorney to execute the loan documents on my behalf (since I travel for work), and made customer service her top priority by consistently presenting a genuinely friendly work style. I don't know where to start. I used their service 3 times within few months. Their process is super fast and efficient. Huge shout-out my loan officer, Joseph Perez. He made everything super smooth and easy. He was very responsive to my countless emails, since I am a control freak :) Their rates are pretty much the same as other lenders but you will have a significant advantage over conventional mortgage offers. Basically, UpEquity stands behind your offer and back it up with their own hard cash money. With that, you waive third party financing contingency, which is a deal breaker in fast paced housing markets. I bought two houses (one of them were 1031 exchange) and refinanced my existing house using UpEquity. They are local Austinites so I also had the feeling that they are within my reach. Also, all of my brokers were impressed with their service, that alone is a huge plus. Joseph even made few phone calls with the seller and explain their system to the sellers, which made a significant impact with seller's decision making. I are now my go-to lender as long as they will be around!

UpEquity is great. It was less than 6 weeks from my first conversation with Michael Howell to our loan closing. In the past I was put through the "refi ringer" by the big banks. Great experience, best rate! I was skeptical at the beginning since I found UpEquity in the web/forums while all the other lenders I was considering came from friend's referral. The experience couldn't be better: all documentation goes through digital platform which makes it really easy, no hassle. Michael and Monica were always on top of it, communicating through the whole process and taking very good care of everything to make sure we could be clear to close on time.

If you’re thinking about using UpEquity as your lender DO IT. This is a long review but the TLDR is they were fast, professional, and their cash buyer program really worked for us. Their online portal is also amazing and made it super easy to upload and sign everything we needed to. We were working with a more traditional lender for over a month and couldn’t get an offer accepted because we were competing with so many investors and cash offers. I was looking up any and all ways to compete with cash and saw an ad for UpEquity. I read all of the reviews, had my realtor look into it as well, and we decided to go for it. I’m happy to announce we just closed on a house yesterday! We worked with Wade and he was awesome. He really worked with us to get approved for as much as possible (because as you know, the market has been insane lately). But then the cash offer gave us the power to offer less than we were with a conventional loan and still get accepted! Our seller countered with a few things, like a shorter inspection period and a quicker close than we initially put in our offer and he was able to make it all work. Then, we were clear to close 8 days before closing date so we were able to move it up a few days! My realtor said she had never gotten a clear to close that early. Everyone at the company was super responsive, willing to explain and walk us through everything (we’re first time home buyers) and seemed really committed to helping us.
