We were exceptionally pleased with the courteous and efficient service that Steve Furst and Faith Champion provided in connection with the sale of our home in Baltimore. The settlement documents were expertly prepared, and an issue involving a misspelling on the original title was quickly and properly remedied. All aspects of the documents we needed to sign were clearly explained at the closing. Universal's new offices are very nice, and we were made to feel welcome by all the staff we met. An "A+" in every respect.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never dealt with such incompetence and unprofessional staff in my life. Dealing with universal title made our closing more stressful than it had to be. They did not work with our lender and were giving us incorrect information all throughout the closing process and even when working with our original lender. Because of their incompetence, we had to pay additional charges. And they do not care about additional charges but they should because purchasing a home is expensive as it is!!! Please reconsider when working with this company.

We have done couple of transactions with Universal Title, all the time the transactions were very smooth. All the documents were reviewed and executed in a timely manner. All necessary legal formalities were performed in a professional manner. Highly recommend this place.

Just about everything about universal is fantastic! The communication, service, People... everything! Great people with great energy. Fantastic problem solvers and keep everyone happy. Never have had a single complaint from any side when i use universal!

I know that when they are the title company of record that everything will go smoothly with competent, courteous service. Please do yourself a favor and have this group do your title work. I recently did our settlements with Universal Title; in fact, we did 3 of them, as my parents & I sold our homes and then we purchased a new one together all in the same day. The process started mid-August and was actually moved up a week early due some issues with the schedule for the buyer of our houses. They dealt with every bump along the way and completed our settlements perfectly. They were completely thorough and worked with us thru everything. From the realtors, to the bank/loan process, all the way up to settlement, I don't think we could've received better service anywhere else!
