    I was super hesitant signing up with this because it looks like a scam. In hindsight, it's the best decision I've ever made. I paid off about $17,000 in 2 years. Yes my credit got shot, but we're in the middle of a pandemic and I figured if I was going to consolidate that time was now. They never settled without contacting me first. They never made any changes on my account without contacting me first. The one thing that I did do was write a letter to my credit card companies telling them that I was going to consolidate my accounts and to please not send me to collections. All three of my credit card companies settled immediately. I am now completely debt-free and it only took me 2 years. I would recommend this service to anybody.

    I was initially excited to find this program and have been incredibly disappointed with the results. They say they work with companies to pay down your debt but they work in way is incredibly lacking. I went to them with 4 accounts and YEARS into the program found out they had not even made contact with all of the creditors. I assumed they would have used covid as an opportunity to make some great negotiations. Apparently not. I was served a summons on one of my accounts. Not what I anticipated. Nor did I expect them to abandon efforts and not provide assistance in this case. I do NOT recommend this program.

    The only reason I gave 2 stars is because their customer service is not too bad. I had poor customer service with only one of them. But that's not the reason for my review. Before I started with ClearOne Advantage, I used to be with Freedom Debt Relief, which did a good job, but I had to cancel their service due to lost contract during the COVID. After a couple of years, I decided to try ClearOne, Advantage, which goes by many other different names. Because all my remaining debts were already charged off, they negotiated four of them within the next month. And some of the negotiated debts are just a little bit below what the creditors offered me to pay, but when you add the %25, it became way higher than if I took the offer from the collection agencies/creditors myself. On top of that, they charge a monthly fee which they call "Next Day Delivery" of $10/month for each debt they are paying per month. For example, for a debt that was $7050, the collection agency offered me to settle it for $3800, but ClearOne Advantage negotiated it for $3500 + their fees that is equal $1762.5 = $5262.5 which is much higher than what the collection agency offered. Another $1445 negotiated for $742 + 316.25 for 40 payments of $10 and increasing the monthly payment after a few months, but when I added the $10 (next day delivery fee) * 40 = $400 to that, it was going to cost me way more. It's even better if I had to pay interest to the creditors. And although I pay them over $1000/month and some occasional higher payment so I can finish with all the debts faster, I noticed they are paying some creditors between $10 to $15/month and the receipt shows there's a $10 next day delivery fee for each transaction. So I contacted them telling them that I would be sending money to pay all the small creditors. They agreed, but instead of doing exactly what I asked them to do, they negotiated with another small creditor and keep the balance on the account so until it is added up to an amount that is equal to the 25% of a higher balance, they would negotiate it. That company gets their fees first before they start paying creditors. But Freedom Debt Relief splits it between creditors and their 25 percent. After reviewing the situation, I decided to call them and cancel the service. My advice for you, if you already behind your debts for at least 4 months, work with the creditors yourself. Because when your debts are already charged off or in collections, the creditors or collection agencies are more willing to negotiate to a lower amount that is even 50% less than the original balance. Work with the creditors instead. Also try to pay one debt at a time (if you are in the situation mentioned above). For example, a credit card balance that was $891, ClearOne Advantage estimated it to be negotiated for $414 + $222.75 (service fee), the collection agency agreed to settle it for $356. I didn't even try to negotiate, they only sent me a letter and I agreed. I paid them, after a couple of weeks, it shows on my credit report as Paying for Less than the full balance and the balance is updated to $0.00. Maybe my negative experience is because my debts were already many months past due (thanks to FDR :) That one is a different story).

    Thanks for not helping me in my situation. I more upset with myself for trusting you then myself. You guys have no problem calling to ask for more money to get done earlier but have a problem paying a creditor off when I have more then enough money to do so. All I want to do is be done with you guys and get the rest of my money that your clearly just holding for no reason. Also thanks for making 10 dollar payments to a creditor and charging me 12.50 in fees and holding the rest of my money prolonging my time with you guys. It's nice knowing in 2 payments this could of been paid off but you guys believe to pay it out for over a year. Nice! Also don't tell me you contacted them for a payoff when I have called them every week for a month and a half and they told me that they haven't talked to anyone from your organization. If you really wanted to help your clients get out of debt quicker then you would of done so but I guess it's better prolonging it and racking up in all the fee payments. It works better for a business that actually helps their clients get out of debt faster then just collecting as much fees as possible.

    Stay far away from this rip-off!!!! So many bad experiences!!! 1) We were promised our credit score would quickly recover after an initial hit. It never did and after 4 years it is lower than ever. All my other accounts show perfect. But the 2 creditors show unpaid debts. Ruined our credit forever and we previously had FICO scores in the 800's. 2) After signing a contract, our initial payment was doubled because one of the accounts "wanted to be paid off in a year". But after more than 2 years of double payments, it became painfully clear that that was never going to happen. We finally refinanced our home to pay the whole thing off. 3) During the refi process we needed payoff a letter from Clear One. It took several months and more than 8 tries to get a legal payoff letter. And the final one ultimately included an incorrect PO Box address. Only a sharp postal worker caught it and contacted me to let me know and ask if they could put in the proper PO Box. 4) We had confirmation that Clear One had received payment in full within a few weeks. But we are now 8 months out and they are still holding the full balance due to one of my creditors and collecting a service fee each month while not paying the creditor anything, much less paying it off. When I contacted them twice, I was told "it takes time". Please, protect yourself and your credit. For what they ultimately cost us, we could have paid these off ourselves. We are now seriously considering contacting a debt attorney to see what we have to do to get this resolved. Things should have never gotten this far if they were truly a reputable company!! UPDATE: As requested, I sent all the pertinent information to Customer Service over a week ago. I've never heard back from them. Which is typical. I stand by my review!!!!

    So far so good ! Michael Ghent was beyond amazing getting me enrolled. Very understanding, personable, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and ask for him! April who did my welcome call was amazing as well. Took the time to answer questions and was also very personable and friendly and I could tell they really care about helping people.     This company takes advantage of people in desperate situations. They don’t explain everything about their program upfront. The only way to talk to anyone is online and anytime I do actually get someone on the phone they are very rude. I ended up negotiating most of my debt on my own and not having Clearone take care of it. You can definitely negotiate on your own and not pay this company a penny. My credit is ruined and they don’t even update when things are paid off so your score can come back up quickly. Just avoid this company all together, you will save money doing it yourself!!

    Waste of time. I talked to a representative today, after the constantly called all morning and left voicemails pretty much every single time. Finally called back and after giving all of my information, was asked for my credit score and was told they only dealt with clients who had a credit score of good or higher. My credit is fair, but they don't mention that in the ads. This may be a program that means we'll, but I really think it's misleading to the potential customers to not disclose the possibility of being denied any assistance due to having a little less than perfect credit score. I really thought this was going to be a good start to paying off my debt, but from reading the other reviews, I'd rather struggle through it on my own than deal with this company or its staff.

    Settle your accounts on your own. I ended up paying $11k in fees, and when I called my creditors it turns out they would have accepted the same payments if I had just settled on my own. Keep INTENSE records of what you owe, every time I called them all of a sudden suddenly I owed more which I had to explain every single payment I had made. On one account I ended up paying MORE than I would have if I had paid the account in full because of their fees. They use sneaky language to get you to agree to things, and not only do they take their fees but they add TRANSACTION fees to every single payment you make. It's absurd. I desperately wish I had just hired an attorney or done this on my own I would have saved so much money. ALSO... the hold music makes me want to go insane. And you will be on hold for hours if you want to actually reach one of the settlement negotiators who never call you back if you leave a message with one of the other employees.

    I give them four stars because they have done a good job for me. Sure, I had to delay one credit card company while they worked on the other, and not answer their phone calls, or pay on the balance; and I additionally had to pay $2,300 more than I had to, but all in all, the phone calls stopped coming. Unfortunately for me, when Covid - 19 hit, my two credit card companies increased my monthly rate and made it impossible for me to keep up. It was maddening. I didn't want to file bankruptcy and what the credit company's were offering me for six months was no better. I opt for Clear One Advantage. I prayed to the LORDGOD OF ISRAEL, that He wouldn't allow these peoples to do me wrong. As far as I am concerned, He Blessed me with a lump sum to pay them off in full. I was so happy for that. Nevertheless, their services is NOT free, even IF according to the FTC its supposed to be because they get public funds to offset these services...oh well. The current concern that I have now, (hence the 4 stars), is that one credit card is still showing and UNpaid balance of $8,900. It has been paid in full. Clear One states, that it takes a full 90 BUSINESS DAYS to show paid/closed on my credit report, so until then, the negative information stays. I have filed a dispute and am awaiting my Credit Report so that I can address these issues. Before going with Clear One, my credit score was 720. It was down below 500 after the fact. I was heartbroken, as I had worked hard to raise my credit. I'm hoping that by mid June, my Credit Report will show a STELLAR 850 Score:D

    If you really need help, file for bankruptcy but star far from this company! We trusted them and after paying over $2,000 every month for 41 months, we were forced to file for bankruptcy anyway! At the end, we paid more than what we owed and three of the credit card companies took us to court!! ClearOne NEVER took care of that and after additional wage garnishments we finally file for Chapter7. Had we filed in 2018 when they offered to help us, by now we would be debt free and with good credit. Instead, we are worse than before! Why? Because the IRS wants $$$$ for all those credit cards that ClearOne paid off...beware, the credit cards will send the IRS a 1099C, which is a cancellation of debt & is considered Income. ClearOne doesn't tell you that, nor does it explain that when that happens, you have to file a 982 form. Bottom line, we now are working with H&R Block, hopefully they'll help us! Have a CPA help you with your taxes or you'll be in deep trouble. Although we paid over $80,000 thru ClearOne, somehow we still owe over $50,000, but our debts were not more than $100,000! I am not sure how some people left positive comments, but what I am telling you is VERY VERY REAL and VERY TRUE. BEWARE of this company. Stay far from it and file Chapter 7 or 11 instead. Is easier, less complicated and LEGAL!

    I started with ClearOne back in 2019 and at first they weren’t great with following up with me regarding updates to my account but then they became very responsive after I expressed my concern. They made sure to notify me about my settlement offers and the different options I had at my disposal. All was fantastic during this process and I made sure to never be late on my monthly drafts. They helped settle all 5 of my accounts and a year early at that! The reason for my 3 stars is specifically regarding the closing of my account. I feel like once my creditors were paid and ClearOne received their settlement fee, they no longer cared about customer service. My last payment to the creditor went out 10/2021 and a month later ClearOne promised me a graduation call sometime during the first week of January 2022 but failed to deliver. They had also promised me a refund of the money still sitting in my Global account which would take 30 days from the date of the graduation call. I waited all of January and didn’t receive anything. So on February 4th I called and finally completed my graduation call and a request for my refund as well as the closing of my Global account was supposed to be submitted. They did not and Global was charging a monthly fee for the account being open the entire time but no one notified me of it. Today (another month!) I called because I never got my graduation documents or my refund and saw that my refund dropped due to Global’s monthly charges. I don’t even care about the amount that I lost due to ClearOne’s failure in closing the account, what matters to me is the principle. I’m being held accountable for ClearOne’s mistake and I don’t think that’s fair. I tried calling ClearOne so that they can help in someway and I was given the run around. They asked me to contact Global even though it’s not their fault but I called anyway and they also refused to help because the account closure submission was never entered. Great company that helps settle debt but they have things that fall through cracks and then don’t take responsibility for them. I would still recommend this company but advise you to keep tabs on your account to ensure that they’re fulfilling their promises.

    We were had by these people, our initial debt was 35k. The salesman on the phone told us we would end up paying half that and we were on a 4year plan paying $550 a month. Two years in we have paid 13k and two years left with what we thought another 13k to pay and we call to see about paying off the balance and we are told the estimated balance is now 18k. So estimated balance plus what we already paid is 31k. 4k off our original and i just ruined my credit for 2 years and counting. Could have done better just dealing with the credit card companys

    This program has been helping me to settle debts with creditors I thought I would never be able to pay off in my lifetime. The agent I chatted with today helped me adjust my payments to meet my financial needs and very pleasantly to boot. I would recommend them to anyone with lingering debt.

    I spoke with a representative back in December explaining my situation and my future plans of moving in the next year. I was assured that it wouldn't effect my efforts in moving. After signing up to help me consolidate my loans - 6 months later my credit has dropped 90+ points and they don't report to a credit bureau to show that you are consistently paying!!! Doing this has RUINED my credit and ANY POSSIBILITY of moving forward with my life in a positive way until my creditors are ALL settled. I am now arguing with my creditors who are consistently posting to the credit bureau that i'm not paying, so it's racking up interest/late payment fees/going to collections. All while making large payments every month to ClearOne who isn't even reporting to ANY of the 3 credit bureaus that i'm making payments on time! I am currently looking on how to just work with the creditors on my own and just finish out the accounts they've already settled/withdraw from the program. Will updated with my decision later. Would not recommend if you are planning on any life changes in the upcoming 3 years of signing up with them. Absolutely devastating.

    Word if advice. Don't do it. I thought this was the answer after losing an income but it has been a thorn in my side for the last three years. Customer service is terrible. They are rude and condescending. You get a different person each time you speak to someone. ONE time I got to speak to someone who actually acted as if they cared and knew what they were doing. I have had to settle many on my own any call them and tell them to close them out. Find another way. Trust me. It's not worth it.

    I feel like these negative reviews are about a different company. Some say they are rude. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful and patient. Some said they don't pay/settle accounts. Yet when I track my accounts, they say "settled in full". So far, nothing but good experiences. I needed the helping hand to get life back together, and they have provided it. For that, that's priceless. Update to follow, once I "graduate". Update: I've graduated from the program. There was one slight issue at the end but they fixed it quickly, and kindly. I hope to never have to use ClearOne again, but if I somehow got myself in the same situation, I would know who to go to. Everyone is very friendly, I stand by that. However, also, they have a live-chat feature with an agent, which makes getting help super convenient. A+ w/ C.O.A's help, I am now officially out of debt and starting to get my life back together, "making up for lost time" as I say. Grateful for their help. Ignore the bad reviews, check it out for yourself, see if it fits what you're looking for, and there's someone there to help and discuss with you.

    The process is wonderful they walk you the entire process and you get a great feeling of relief about your money proplems. The initial phone call was with Cedrick and he did an excellent job explaining and made you feel very comfortable. Thanks for making my life manageable again.

    So completely frustrated with this company on a multitude of levels. I just finished writing a 7 or so paragraph review of them on another site and I'm too drained to write that here. Just know that Clear One has very poor communication, they are not transparent. Many of thier employees operate off of commission and you will feel pressured to accept an offer. Thier fees are too high (25% of your settled debts plus holding account fees, paper check fees, phone payment fees) and when you settle with your credit card companies thru them, guess where the VAST majority of your money is going? To thier fees FIRST. There are so many negative factors nI can't even get into. I'll just say one additional thing. Don't trust the TrustPilot reviews. New clients are told to write 5 star reviews once signed up and all excited that they think they are going to save money. DO NOT leave a 5 Star review because an agent suggested it! You have no clue what your experience in the program will be when all you did was sign up!! Hey Clear One Advantage Mangament: Why don't you actually IMPROVE they way you do business in an ethical and moral way instead of playing PR catch up and Clean-Up by having agents suggest that new clients post 5 star reviews?! Potential customers, do yourself a favor - If you can't pay your credit cards, go with a Non-Profit OR just let your payments lapse for about 4 months and your credit card companies will try and work with you. Your accounts will probably be closed but you won't have this nightmare. I plan to contact them as much as I can to get the resolution I need or I will be contacting thier acreiting agencies and also the BBB with an official complaint. Hopefully it doesn't go to arbitration. Wish me luck.

    They have taken money said they paid my debts and show it settled in full and come to find out the company has not received any funds from them. I am now trying to get my funds back. They tried to say I was late and have all my monthly payments taken out on time with no lates. This company is a joke and no one cares. they don't understand why you get upset on the phone what a joke this company is.

    I'd honestly take these negative reviews with a grain of salt. I don't know who they spoke to, but I dealt with Olivia Kavugha and she was nothing but a dream to work with. Incredibly patient and really walked me through the whole process. They also don't sugar coat that your credit is going to take a hit. They are settling your debt for you and closing these accounts. Olivia gave me great advice to keep a small secure card to help my credit while I work through the program. By the end of the program, your credit levels out. But yeah during it, it takes a big hit and she let me know that. It's either do what I need to do and take a credit hit for a few years or have massive amounts of debt digging me deeper. I would strongly consider and recommend ClearOne.

    No app. The "quick chat" function is garbage when used on the phone, my phone screen turned and went horizontal and then I was no longer able to see any of the texts being sent back and forth in neither the horizontal or vertical screen. Called for customer service help and fought with a recorded message system to finally end up to a person, sat on hold for 40 minutes before reaching anybody. I have my drafts scheduled for a certain day and the funds never actually get drafted until a few days later. Oh and to top it off the "on hold" music was headache inducing. Very disappointing experience thus far

    Horrible experience with this company! I was excited to get going on fixing my debt, but should’ve done more research. They contact companies individually, but instead of attempting to make small payments to each company, they collect money from you each month to make a full payoff to each company one at a time. Meanwhile, all the others you owe to that COA told you to ignore are adding on late fees and extra charges and your credit score is continuing to plummet.. then there’s the issue with one bank that was paid off according to COA, only to find out that the entire payoff was never made and now I was considered lapsed to my agreement and owe the entire amount still.. I have worked for almost 2 years now trying to get this bill off my credit report all the while with the bank still telling me I owe them in full.. I’m no longer with them and got better deals calling each company myself.. definitely do your research before choosing your debt consolidation companies

    Don't do it. I am in a way worse position now than prior to starting this program. I am now having wages garnished and can't afford my mortgage. I would call when I got something from the creditor or the lawyer representing them (for a $7,000 debt) and they would say they would call back but never did. Now the creditor is having $580 per paycheck taken. Find another solution, this is not the one.

    This program will hurt your credit badly until the settled debt are paid as agreed. I have a creditor that pings my credit negatively every month, as if no agreement exists. The creditor told me once the structured settlement is completed, it will be reported as settled for lesser amount and the negative reporting will stop. I decided to pay it off a month early and spoke with a clear one representative. She scheduled an additional draft from my account like I asked. The thing she didn’t tell me is that it would take 30 to 60 days to actually make the additional payment. Thus defeating the whole purpose of an additional bank draft. This is a problem I feel the company needs to address immediately!

    I started this program on 5/13/2019 with $25,000 worth of debt and just graduated out February of 2022. Honestly, this program did work for me in the sense that I was drowning in debt and couldn't pay everything off on my own. With that being said, in order to FULLY understand what you're getting yourself into, ask the right questions. Find out how your credit gets impacted when you completely stop paying creditors. I already knew going in that your score plummets, so that was not a shock to me (lowered 200 points). One creditor even served me papers trying to take me to court. I sent all that information to Clear One and it was handled. The only time I had to pay more than my agreed monthly was when a creditor offered a settlement and I didn't have enough funds in my Global account. I had to agree to that change. They never just raised the dollar amount without my consent. All conversations are recorded and all agreed monthly drafts HAVE to get the green light by you. And yes, ClearOne has their own fees... How else would they profit? Remember, this isn't charity, it's a business. The only reason I feel others may have had such a negative experience could be because of their expectations. Keep in mind that in this program, you stop paying creditors. Of course this is going to affect you. But also keep in mind that the amount you owe to these creditors decrease significantly (ended up paying out less than half of what I owed) for a quicker payoff. To me, that was worth it. When I completed the program, not one more cent was taken from me and I received a credit of $120 in left over money I had in my account. This is an honest review from a person who was in serious financial problems and now I'm good. My credit score went up about 150 points and I'm making WAY better decisions so I never have to do this program again.

    RIP OFF!!! Would of been better to call creditors on my own to settle them. I have been in the program since JUNE 2019!! I have paid out of my pocket to Credit One $20,260.70. Only 5 creditors paid off out of 14 and that was $12,190.75 So this company in fees charge freaking HALF! I have sent several emails and calls to them to withdraw from the program. Says in the contract you can at anytime. NO RESPONSE, they are always slow at getting back to you. Since day one this company has been a thorn in my side, thought I was doing the right thing by having them help with creditors, now I have learned my lesson either do it yourself or just claim bankruptcy. My credit is still below 500. I also got sued by one of my creditor and Credit One dragged their feet on the whole situation. I WANT OUT and I will never go BACK!! BEWARE OF CLEAR ONE!

    I have been with ClearOne since June 2019. The rep who I initially worked with was awesome but he’s no longer with the company. I advised that you read everything they send you and asks as many questions. From the beginning I was aware that this process would be a negative impact to my credit score but they managed to come up with a negotiated rate where I was paying less and able to save while getting my debt down. I felt it was worth it. My actions weren’t any better. However, they do have to pay themselves. The fees are high. They did contact me about putting more money into the program to cover X. I told them no. I had 7 credits cards in total but only put 5 in the plan. One of them I negotiated on the side and paid off within 3 months. That account was originally in the plan but I withdrew it. No hassle. The other I just kept. Overall, I would be in a worse situation than I am now. My credit score is good. I monitored my accounts and payments. I continuously check my credit reports to make sure ClearOne is doing what they say they are doing. I get statements from my creditors that my payments are being made. I give them a star less because of the hefty fee. It’s a business and they have to pay themselves.

    I have been with this company for a while now. I did not qualify for a complete payout, where they pay off my debts and then I just paid them back, so I did the payment plan. after a while they called me and said I could qualify for a complete payout and then I just paid them back. I talked to them and ask them if it's going to hurt my credit score and why this wasn't offered to me at the beginning and they said that I just now qualify because of my excellent payment history. of course they pulled my credit and I was denied. which hurt my credit score. they seem to be a little bit shady on telling you that they will work out a settlement plan and get your debt reduced but does not tell you that that still hurts your credit as much as it does. they tell you to wait for your debt to charge off and then they can work with your creditors however I had papers sent to my house I had threatening phone calls and court papers sent to me and all they said is oh this is normal. this is not normal for me. they waited a long time to even settle my little debt. I kept asking them and they kept saying I needed to up my payments so they could have more. I asked him how much they needed to have and they said as much as I can put in. if I could pay off my debt I would have done it by myself. I highly suggest you go with somebody else.

They took money from for years for a creditor that 1) they didn't reach out to and 2) that had already settled the amount without them involved.     ClearOne is a RIP OFF!!! There representative don't tell the truth or don't know what products they offer. I was told that by the end of 6 months I could get a consolidation loan after being in the program. I didn't find out until after I enrolled they DO NOT offer that program in the state of Maryland. My bills SAT from July til December....5 months. My credit score TANKED REAL BAD. They pay one creditor at a time depending on how much you have in the global account. I cancelled them and NEGOTIATED with my creditors and received a BETTER DEAL on my own. THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME. DON'T DO IT......THEY DON'T OFFER NO PROGRAMS IN MARYLAND.

Suggested making changes, and repeated multiple times my need to remember my monthly payment, which doesn't begin until February, and will automatically come out each month.     Horrible job representing me. No communication. You can spend hours on the phone and get inaccurate information. I was sent to court on 2 credit cards that they failed to inform me about. American Express refused to deal with them and I was never notified until I was served court papers! I would NEVER recommend them!     I will never recommend this company to anyone. I've had nothing but issues since day one. I had a billy on the phone that was supposed to help me and chose to threaten me about finances. It takes forever on hold to get a hold of them on the phone. I waited 45 minutes to speak to a representative on the phone after I had called earlier in the day and was never called back. The best part is I'm paying them almost 30 percent for settling my debt. Outrageous.

    I'm still in the program as of right now. This has wrecked my credit score from being mid 600's now to low 400's just in less than 6 months. One creditor keeps calling saying Clearone broke the agreement they had so everything Clearone paid went toward the balance, not the settlement. I have called Clearone on numerous occasions just to be told they won't contact the creditor because on their end it's closed. This leaves me with get several calls A DAY from the creditor. Clearone keeps sending me their pay off statement, but this isn't doing me any good because the creditor says the payments weren't paid on said dates. I don't know what they are doing with the other creditors because it shows no change on the account and no contact from Clearone. I am still receiving calls from other creditors and they are saying that Clearone hasn't contacted them. I'm seriously regretting signing up for this, I was doing ok before signing up but now I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel.

So I was a little upset with the staff. So I tried one more time and Angie got the call and I am SO GLAD she did. She finished the initial situation with ease, and then she EVEN took the time to answer and take care of the following 3 questions I had with billing.     Ripoff really not worth it. With fees and interest they apply for the program I would be better off paying it off myself and agreeing with creditors directly. Clear one did not help at all if anything they ruined my credit and cost me twice the regular payments. And at the end I still had to pay tax on the forgiven amounts. Do not do it not worth it.

    clear one withdraws from your checking account when they did not have permission from me. I requested my money to be deposited that same day they withdrew money out of my account. Beware they can take money out fast but they don’t care when they return it to you.

    Martha G. has got to be hands down the best Account Excective that i have ever encountered. She was very patient with me and my concerns, she heard me out, and saw that what i needed would have done me more harm than good. She could have done what most reps do which is sell you something that you dont need and let you figure it out later that you really didnt need what they were selling you in the first place. Martha was open and very transparent throughout the whole process and even though I didnt need the service after all, I know there are many people who will.     Do not work with this company! They will ruin you! At the end you will owe more to the IRS & you'll end up filing for Bankruptcy anyway! We paid them over $80,000 and after almost 4 years, we're worse than before, especially considering that our debts totaled a little more than 80K! We are now speaking with a lawyer to get answers!!!

    Stay far away from this company. ClearOne will promise you one thing and do the complete opposite. Once finding out they were in the wrong after investigating and listening to previous calls, they will twist your words around, especially if they consider you as weak (I have a brain injury). Their fees are just as high as the original debt. If you do not like or want to accept an offer, they make threats. They will literally threaten you on the phone and twist your words like you just accepted. I have no choice but to hang up because I am not allowed to record calls and they will not provide me with a copy of the calls and their is no one to hold them accountable. In response to the owner.     I have a settlement in place and was asked to pay a little extra each month for 4 months to make sure there was enough to settle the debt. I decided to pay for extra 2 payments to expedite the payoff process and was told that they couldn’t do it because still owed there fee. When explaining I was told the debt had to be paid in full by January I was told it would be. All I did was pay more to get it taken care of faster but they won’t pay it because I owe a fee which I will still owe in January when the final payoff date it is. Also there fee is 25% of the debt that they settled so basically your they are taking off the late charges and that’s it fees you acquire when there ask you to stop paying your bills. It’s not a bargain it’s a rip off.

    After I left me initial review and shared my story of how they lost my largest account and failed to call me to keep it current they called. They said they were working to re-negotiate the account and would get back to me within a week. That was 10 weeks ago. It is very simple, once they collect their 25% fee, they do not prioritize your account. Just business for them. I am now pretty trapped in business with them. I wouldn't start if I were you, and I would negotiate your own settlements, I just did it with two other accounts and closed them very successfully. Cheers and someday being debt free.

    ClearOne is completely deceptive. They said my credit score would be moderately effective but in fact, it went from the high 700’s to the 500’s! In two years working with these people, no credit cards have been settled and my creditors are still hounding me. In addition to the high fees I pay them, I have to pay an additional EIGHT THOUSAND + DOLLARS! That’s cSh out of pocket! I have not seen any improvement in my situation; it has gotten much worse!

    I've been trying to work with ClearOne for over a year and I can't get in touch with anyone. I've been calling them since March 02, 2021 to no avail although someone calls me back when they know I'm at work and leaves me a name and number to return their call, which they never answer! I want to withdraw from their services but can't get in touch with them. I'm paying out more monthly than if I had just paid my creditors myself.
