Universal Credit Services - Now Xactus Reed Rd, Broomall

A see lots of ppl whining & complaining that UCS ran their credit ! First was it a soft or hard inquiry please know the difference…second they do not do anything without you have already giving up your info to a third party. If you’re applying for an important purchase , loan etc they will run your credit (soft/hard) they just use these guys to be able to do that. Educate yourself before you start pointing the finger and take some accountability we live in America your info is not private , scammers , financial institutions can easily access your stuff. Quit racking up so much debt, keeping up with the Jones. Take some accountability! I don’t do business directly with UCS but my background is finances , so I understand how this works, you may have given up some info to a company and now someone is seeing if you match the criteria for __ … I mean why else is someone checking your credit ?! Hope this helps someone , I’m blunt & transparent no sugar coating here. If you feel pressed keep digging

Received an alert this company randomly pulled m y credit. I have no business with them at all. I did not give them permission nor do I know who they are.

Hi Y'all, I have my fair share of negative experiences with businesses. I have to give 2 thumbs up. I saw them on my experian account. I called and they were able to tell who used them to pull my credit and the guy found it and all good. I appreciate the help.

You just checked my credit without authorization or my knowledge of this company and I haven’t applied for anything. Who are YOU!! SCAMMERS!!

I received an alert that UCS pulled my credit but I can't think of any reason why anyone would have--I'm not apply for credit or doing anything that would involve credit. I looked on the website for any help and there's nothing for this situation even though it appears extremely common. I called multiple phone numbers I found for them including the numbers on their website and the one provided by the credit bureau, waited on hold over 30 minutes, and gave up. This is such a common question they really should have a link on their home page "Why did we run your credit?" where indirect users (victims?) can find out which of UCS's clients requested the credit report.

Not sure why this company is charging a credit card that I clearly did not give out. Seeing now that you are a credit company, why and who would authorize this and how did u guys get my card number. I am in the process of buying a home but I have not used a credit card for anything. I am disputing these charges as we speak!! The nerve!

They pulled my credit without my permission, I have no business with them.

This company pulled a credit report a day or so after we authorized our credit union to start processing a loan app for us. Didn't know who they were when I saw the name show up on the credit alert but this Google listing matches what came up on the alert. I'm posting "three stars" on the review rating since I can't really rate the company's services since I'm not the 'consumer' of their product.
