Universal Check Cashing Genesee St, Utica

Surprised at all the people wuo said they find the staff rude. I've always found them to he very polite and professional,and have never had any issues.

Other than being in an extremely dangerous part of the city, I've had good experiences with staff being fast & effective. They are usually busy & they try their best to be friendly, unfortunately, I think they deal with so many rude & difficult people all day that they are just all business.

It passes i guess if you're in between banks for whatever reason, better off applying for a price chopper card, takes 30 days to clear before you can cash at price chopper though, only reason i see coming here. The few times i have gone 8/10 times they let thugs hang around in the lobby and outside the building. Not something that makes a person comfortable when they have a wad of freshly handed out cash in their pocket. They've also busted my chops once when i forgot my ID and i had been there before and had my photo taken each time. Last measure.

Horrible service. The staff is very rude and the manager Sasha has a very hood rat attitude. I asked to speak with her superiors after she was shouting at me on the phone; she said she's the manager there is no higher up.

Absolutely unprofessional. The employees were obnoxious and immature, and they are not fit to run a business. A pathetic excuse for a "cash checking service".

Horrible company!!!! I'm absolutely livid. Spent money (almost $30 round trip!) to Uber to this check cashing place, and when I got there I was told that they don't cash the kinds of checks I had to cash. One of them was issued by National Grid! The cashier said they don't take presigned checks...was I not supposed to endorse the checks to cash them?!? WTActualF?!?

This is the worst experience you will have. The blonde Russian and the fat black lady are unprofessional and rude even though they cashed my check fine and I gave them no issues. Dont go here if you care about your money or time.

Awesome staff.... Convenient... Once in their system you only need to bring you and the check... They even will keep your national grid and spectrum account numbers on file... So you just pay... Very very convenient and simple.

Rudest staff I've ever encountered at a place of business. Mindblowing how rude and ornery they are
